    The amazing thing is that it is routine practice to send sick patients home if the ER staff can't "figure it out". Happens every day. And it costs lives. I drove myself to the local ER with excruciating high abdominal pain. They ran a couple of tests, said my heart was fine and sent me home even though the pain was still there. Three days later I went back to the same ER on a gurney in the back of the local Rescue Squad. Different doctor ran a different test and discovered I need immediate gall bladder surgery. Worst pain in my life. Bottom line is, we the public have no idea what kind of expertise we're going to get at an ER. We might get some dude fresh out of medical school starting his or her internship. My suggestion would be to always seek a second opinion if this happens to you.....even if you have to go to a different ER in a different city. I came very close to death because my original ER doctor was an idiot.

    • @jillianpw9789
      @jillianpw9789 Год назад +2

      Omg.. same!! I kept getting SEVERE pain, ended up in ER over and over for months.. and they couldn’t figure anything out 🤬😡 finally.. a Dr walking past me as I was laying on a hospital bed ( wasn’t even my Dr) picked up my chart, pressed a couple of areas on my body, and blatantly said out loud to everyone standing around ( Drs & nurses) “ it’s her gallbladder “! Sure enough, I was in surgery the following day! I can understand a little what the confusion was, because normally, gallstones happens mostly with “ fair, fat, & 50” scenario.. and I was skinny and 23. By the time I would end up in the ER.. they would give me pain relievers, and nothing would show up! Fast forward 7 yrs.. started having the same pain again, which was confusing, because I had no gallbladder at this point.. for a year ran tests.. and they FINALLY figured out I was still creating gall stones in my bile duct. They put a stint in so they could pass through in the future, and now, I do not go through the severe pain.. my point, lol, is I agree.. they just get confused after a few tests, and send you home without finding the root of the problem! I get that there are times it takes special drs to find things.. but lives would be saved if they just took a little more time, run special tests to eliminate possible issues, before sending people home after a few hours!!

    «The pale Horse» by Agatha Christy.
    A coven of “pseudo” witches, who specialise in removing rich relatives.
    What gives the show away, is the hair loss. The first warning signs of thallium poisoning.
    To me, it is the creepiest of all Ms. Christies thrillers.
    But since it is the third of her plots which I find here, turned to reality, the question does obtrude itself: how much do such books give people ideas? Or do the murders give the ideas to the crime writers?

    I really love liked this crime story. Iv seem it before but that was a long time ago. It gets you thinking if you never seen this episode? The George character is a ass!! Thought he was smarter than the police? Well he definitely underestimated the police!! Those detectives and officers are very smart and all with high IQ's. What bothers me is how come nobody realized that the 6 pack of coca cola wasn't bought by anyone in the house? I know I would question were it came from? My family was an still is Pepsi drinkers. Pye was there first suspect? Which I find odd cause he qas out hunting for a few days? Bottom line is the stupid George who thought he was so smarter than anyone else got caught by a highly bright individual woman. She played ger role perfectly. I mean when you have kids of course you'll have access noise. He never had the balls to confront Pye or his wife? He a straight up coward murderer!! I wonder if he has been executed yet? I hope so!! May the mom RIP 🙏❤️
