Maybe the killer disguised as a bush watching the cops scratch their heads in bewilderment and he's sitting right there in the midst of them.Maybe it's just a large dog covered in algae and seaweed?

LOL right,they say all that while speaking of a murder....yes random murders DO happen but it's more likely they DID have a enemy or someone they pissed off!
So, in other words, the husband sold out his wife and ultimately the wife knew her husband really didn't love her after all. The motive of the killer seemed to be having dominance over the male, while getting off on the entire thing. Perp was all about power and control.
