Hei! Cheers from argentina. I've got a l200 triton too, 3.2 glx (long bed) I want ask you where did you get the torq specifications of this truck, or if exist any manual with all the workshop information...because i have a torquemeter but i cannot use by the time and i would like to be more accurate Thank you for this video, im a suscriptor now!
Cool. My 2003 Montero Limiteds (3 of them) are exactly the same. I've replaced the driver/left side CV axle on one. Now my passenger side is bad on another. The boots seem to fail before the bearings go. Usually the contamination ruins the bearings unless caught quickly. GSP brand sells them for $61 to $76, depending on the side. Lifetime Warranty. Ama zon. Do not order them from Detroit Axle (Ama zon & eB ay), as they don't deliver them and it's a hassle to get a refund too!
Hi, General hand tools. The only specialised tools would have been the torque wrench and impact gun. 32MM socket for the axle nut. I try to keep it simple so anyone can do it. I hope this helps?. Regards, MiMshed.
No mate you smash it with a mallet. 😮😂
Good to see someone doing a video on how to get the CV apart correctly
Thank you very much😊
Thank you for your feed back.
Gracias

Hi Usman Maulana, In Australia, 2 x Repco P/N GSP, CVB.0084 Boot kit. I hope that helps. Regards, MiMshed.
Generic boots are pure shhiit. You'll be doing this all over again within 24 months. 😢
Noted. They have been ok so far. I will keep an eye on them though. Thanks.
