Thank you. Just what u needed. I have a Tiny Town piece that I need to mount, and your idea is just in time. Thank you. I’m planning on mounting mine on a thin piece of wood. Wonder how long it will hold up.

So helpful! I don’t have the money to go out and buy infinite hoops but so this is so nice to just give it that extra finish! I have so many little pieces of cross stitch just laying around that I can now show off!

Great video! I’ve used a couple of different mounting tutorials, but never thought of double mounting like this. I have a piece that will be perfect for this.

Very cute finish, it was fun to watch your process. I have no idea if you'll even see this comment, but have you tried using something like a wooden chopstick for pressing the fabric down over the glue?

Thank you for another idea on how to finish a piece, I am just starting this hobby so I don’t have a lot of supplies. Do you have like a top 5 supplies list you use more than others? Thank you!

love your piece ... it's really pretty, it almost looks as if you used linen ... nice work ....
    lindsey ......
NEVER USE STICKY BOARD WHEN MOUNTING AND FINISHING YOUR CROSS STITCHING! NOR HOT GLUE -- BOTH OF THESE PULL THE THREADS WHEN THE WORK IS REMOVED TO BE RE-DONE OF REMOUNTED .... everyone i've cross stitched with and learned from takes their work to a store like (but not necessarily, Michaels) for mounting, NOT FRAMING -- YOU CAN DO THAT YOURSELF PRETTY EASY ... this will become an heirloom in your family, it's the truth ... when you frame it, use glass, non-glare glass -- regular glass reflects the light and it's hard to see your piecs, and using glass blocks your typical home *smells* -- kitchen, wood fireplace -- normal smells in your home and there can be grease floating around in your home, too, from cooking ... these become heirlooms, seriously! anyway, the glass helps keep your work clean and fresh .......
like quilters, cross-stitchers, and sewists (of clothing) are picky in their work and want it presented at its best ... below is the shop in Utah I use for purchases, charts, thread -- hand-dyed .... you can ask them where is a good place to get your work mounted! these pieces last for years and years and years ... even from before pioneer time, the 1800s and before .... take great care of your work, even if you're not happy with it or don't really like it ... someone in your family will love it! "Ohhhh, it was Mom's picture; I WANT IT" ... TRUTH ...

JoAnn and other commercial sewing stores, including hobby lobby, don't have the quality materials that cross stitch shops do!!! like a large selection of awesome, beautiful fabric, lovely thread; cross stitch stores have awesome beautiful fabric and threads ... i believe you get what you pay for ... I hardly ever use DMC anymore ... I love the variegated thread colors and those stores don't sell them ... you can purchase cross stitch charts anywhere ... look online at all the choices and take advantage of the pattern sales ....
too much info??? tmi??? i hope not ... not a lot of ppl cross stitch so this is from what I learned when we lived in Rexburg in the mid to late 90s ... lots of stores between Rexburg and Idaho Falls ...
thanks for getting this far .... tell me what you think ....
thank you again for sending that boo bash pattern ... it's so cute .... maybe I can get it done before Halloween (next year) ...
take care and love cross stitch .... darlene
