Our nearly 4-yr old rescue dog (terrier-lab)has been crazy hyper since she was 8 weeks old and up until this morning when I put on this Indian wonderful flute music -- for last 2 hrs she has laid here -- totally cal m , almost smiling--- Unbelievable!!

I think Meditation and yoga should be made mandatory in schools, without giving religious colour to them. It would help High school students to cope with stress, anxiety etc

@krisscifi I got your point. I suggested the point of making it mandatory based on my experience. As I wished I had some small meditation session in school. I could have been a totally different person right now if that was the case. Although my experience may not hold true for everyone. I think CHOICE would be better word than mandatory.
It should n I'm amazed with how bond are the muslim n the hindus. But not in my country, they will think we try to brainwash them n convert to indhuism.
I agree 100%. If there was a mandatory 1 hour of meditation and Yoga per day in all schools/institutes/companies the world would change over night!

How can you say; that time does not exist? When it is clearly manifest at the ferry, seen in the ocean, and everywhere one looks, time is of the essence.

The fabric described here using water as a metaphor shows wave motion as representing space, where the water is not actually the wave itself. it would be material only in this metaphor and so considered abstract as mind. Notice how things floating on a surface remain relatively stationary as the wave passes under them. . The ferry, for example represents time as it is anticipated to reach a destination. Tributaries of this mind reach a shared vision eventually as the crystals which had fallen on the mountaintops melt under the warmth and light of the sun. These tributaries of mystical vision come together as they form streams, and then rivers, and eventually the sea, But I say there are 7 seas, and time's own end is it's beginning where it is conceived in the mind. Though the visions of the tributaries are dispersed around the world, These crystal visions are from the heaven and light upon the mountain tops like manna.

You cannot have yoga without spirituality. Yoga means to unite one with the supreme. The highest form of yoga is Bhakti Yoga. The only form of meditation useful for this age is harinam sankirtan, or chanting the holy names of Sri Hari. I love chanting the Mahamantra with some peaceful flute music in the background. I used to go to a nearby Canal in my village and enjoyed playing Flute while i was in High school.Principal Labhu Ram Doaba school Jalandhar issued a certificate for this when i played Flute in a school function.That certificate is still my file alongwirh other appreciation documents.I have subscribed to this Chanel just now.
