Got the ohme untethered one and it’s great and the practicality of it all is beyond what a lot of people understand.

I love my Andersen EV charger it looks great with everything out of sight and does the job well. I have had mine 4 years.

Quite a nice aesthetic with plenty of options and clever for a tethered charger how the cable and plug are concealed. The down lighting is cool but overall there’s a slight meter box aesthetic! The only thing I’d have tried to do differently, particularly considering the clean look would be to bring the supply cable through the cavity wall even if it had to re-appear near the ground where it would be easier to conceal. I did that with our Easee One. It did take a bit more time & faff but looks much cleaner particularly considering we use the charger untethered. There is a lock option on the Easee One if you want to use it tethered though.

When my wife bought her EV she decided in an Andersen because it looked nice. It was only when I tried to charge the car of solar that I realised the limitations of this device. It works fine on an overnight Octopus go but strggled to use that excess power from my panels. After a couple of visits by Andersen I decided to give up trying to charge off solar and only use ovenight charging.

That exterior power cable just ruins the premium finish of the unit. Installer should of hidden it in the cavity for example
