Changing power steering fluid BMW X5 e70 (CHF11s)

- I was checking fluids on my e70 and I noticed that there was not enough power steering fluid (CHF11s). Ordered a liter of this fluid from Febi (not original Pentosin) and changed it myself. Very easy and straightforward job. I describe the process as I change it in this video. Enjoy!

You can flush it by add a fresh fluid to the minimum run it and drain it again

Hi, my e70 4.8 is making a periodic whining/meowing sound. Could that be hydronic fluid or pump? Thank you

Why your old fluid looks red? was it ATF? or green became red after some time?
Febi is the same formula but cheaper. I just wonder which Febi fluid is equivalent to CHF-202. I have read that 11S and 202 are compatible (very similar). The only other bad thing about draining it all out is that you will have air in there. Hopefully once you have the new fluid in it will pump that air out before it can ruin the pump.
I have changed 4 weeks agoo the hidraulic fluid MOTUL same spec, but seems was not good at all, coz i have a x5 e70 2009 286hp active steering... And imediatly i feel my steering wheel being alot stiffer then it was before, and afther not even 1000km my steering pump in the middle of the Parisian Highway has blew off all the gaskets inside the pump..! I send it to BOSCH to see if they could repaire,and 2 days agoo... Afther 3 weeks they thold me they fix it, and all the gaskets inside the pump was blew out.! Tomorrow il go and lift up from them, and il goo at Bmw dealer to buy or order 2L of fluid.! Wish le luck coz allmost has cost me 1688.22 Euros for a brand new one, and instead will cost me only 460 euros..! Wish me luck 😂
My x5 says ATF Oil ONLY on my cap rather than the CHF. Why is that?
