Just wanted to thank you for this and your other videos - I have been debating about getting one of these and you made my mind up for me. Thanks for the code too! I wasn't really expecting it to work for me as I am in Australia but it does and it was great to know that Pepetools ship here and have currency conversion on the site so I could see exactly what I was up for straight away. Thanks again.
No problem 😊 👍 and if you have any questions please let me know
Thanks for the discount code I just purchased the flex shaft!
Thanks for all your great videos!
😄👍 and thank you for taking the time to watch them 😊
I got the same kit about a month ago and almost threw my dremel away lol! I love mine, I find the H30 quick enough to change bits
Yeah it's like night and day compared to a Dremel 😅👍
Thanks for the review! It's an awesome flex shaft! And thanks for the discount code. I got a great deal on a ring bender!!! : )
Oh awesome 😄👍 let me know how you like it when you get a chance to use it. 😊👍
@@GomeowCreations It was marked down as they must be having a sale AND the coupon coded still worked! Awesome deal! It may be a while before i get to using it, but I will let you know when I do. I've heard nothing but really good things about it.
I watched a jeweler here on You Tube from Rio Grande who uses the reverse function with carbide carving burrs for stone setting. He said reversing gives much more control and the bit doesn't grab and skitter across the metal the way it does in forward mode. It also cuts less aggressively in reverse. I can tell you from experience that using the flex shaft in reverse for polishing is a horrible idea because it unscrews the polishing head, lol! Oops. :D But for diamond burrs, etc. you can play with it and see what you think.
Thank for that info, I will have to play around with it 😁👍
Thanks for the Pepetools discount code. I spent a little over $100 it was awesome getting about 30% off. You rock!
Hey no problem 😊 👍 and what did you get if you don't mind me asking?
No problem- Strip ingot mold, the Pepe molds are machined and very smooth. I have seen them in use and they really reduce the flaws and very easy to get the silver out when cooling. Adjustable ingot mold and 1-1/2" chasing hammer head. The molds were not really needed but with that discount I felt it was a good time to upgrade. thanks again. Mike
Oh cool let me know how you like them when you get a chance to use them 😊👍
@@RainyCityJewelry Thank you Mike and Randy!!
Great review and already saving to buy one 😎.
I like that kind of reviews, but I noticed that some youtube channels transform from good tutorial videos to only technical reviews.
Looking forward for your next video.
Yeah I have been doing a lot of tool stuff as of late but I will be getting some more tutorials up soon. I just have a lot of info about tools that I want to get out. That is always why I have been getting more videos out every week 😊
I bought the K2220 kit ! It comes with the H 15 release handle ! Thank you waiting to get it in the post !
Oh nice, let me know when you get it.
@@GomeowCreations Got it love it . The best I ever had in 35yrs ! I also got the metal peddle !
Just a note for hooking up the hand piece, I watched the Foredom video on setting it up and they say turn it on slowly and then add the hand piece, also the reverse is mainly for left handed people
😁👍
Thanks!
I unscrewed the bit holder from the spinning base and sometimes use the base under a charcoal block if i need to rotate something while torching it.
That is a good idea. I do already have a soldering tool that does that be I will keep that in mind 😄
I did the same thing, lol! It's underneath my pumice pan. :D
Someday , when I win the lottery , or find some rich stuff , I want one of these . I always have . it's all about the tools !
Thank you for this video. Just purchased from Pepe! Wish me luck.
Let me know what you think of it once you get it 😁👍
@@GomeowCreations Will do! Two days and counting!
@@GomeowCreations Holy Cow! It's spectacular! I was making everything with my Dremel 3000...and while it was a great start, I've been transformed! :) - Marilyn
I bought the Foredom 2230 and I would like to know how to use all the components that are included. I can´t find any tutorial o manual that explains something about it. I would appreciate any advise.
I got this foredom recently, question??? What causes the what I’ll call “shaft wobble”? Mostly happens with the 1/4 shaft burrs, I have to pause the cut and allow the burr/ shaft to smooth back out then return to the work. Set up wrong? Shaft over flexed? Factory defect? Just me?
Thanks for doing this! I just got my fordom with jumpring maker. Do you have a video on the jumpring maker?

@@GomeowCreations thank you!
Another wonderful video ! 99% of what I have learned is from here. Cheers from California !
I have this foredom, and I was wondering, do you know if the hammer hand piece is compatible with this model? The foredom #15 hammer hand piece.
I love your videos! Thank you for all you do.
Yeah, that will work with the h15 😅👍
First!!! I was actually looking for a good flex shaft.
well look at that, you are the first comment haha. Yeah this flex shaft does feel a lot nicer than my other one but I'm also working on a vs video to compare both of them that should be out in a day or so.
Thanks for your video .love you from bangladesh
Well thank you for the love and taking the time work watch my videos 😄👍
I'm fairly new to jewelrymaking and doing it as a hobby. I'm getting a Foredom flexshaft in the upcoming days and I just can't decide between the H.30 and H.20 handpieces. The H.20 is obviously more convenient to hold and switch burrs but the 30 is more versatile in terms of diameters it accepts. Do you have a suggestion?
Great video as always!
I used the H20 all of the time but just make sure you order all the right size bits for it
@@GomeowCreations Is there any difference between them in terms of performance, or is it only convenience?
I honestly don't know. 😅 For now I just you the h30 for my jump ring saw and everything else on the h20
@@GomeowCreations Alright, thank you so much! your videos are delightful and I learned so much from them!
My flexshaft set up directions state that the shaft should extend 3/4" beyond the end of the sheath. You didn't mention that when you were setting up. Is that not important?
Wish I had seen this before I purchased mine. Could have saved $30!
Out of the box it was fine so I didn't bring that up haha. I did a video showing how to replace the shaft later on after I broke it and I go over it in that vidoe
When the inner shaft is broke down where kam uou find spare parts?
Yes you can and here is a bit about that ruclips.net/video/FRsc4WesIOg/видео.html
Do you have to lubricate the flexshaft for the initial set up? Or can I use it right out of the box?
I honestly don't remember but I think it come pre lubed. Just check the instructions when you get it to be sure.
@@GomeowCreations yeah it didn't seem to say that I needed to do it immediately. Just every 200 hours of use. What type of solvent should I use?
This made from which country???
I am from india whare can I buy this machine and how much is this ?
Applications for ear wax removal?
Hi,
Why are some motors red and others blue?
Thanks.
I believe it's because one is 110v and the other is 220v it depends on your setup and country
GomeowCreations ah, that would make sense! 👍😊 thanks for reply and your videos!
How much Indian rupees cost
can you change the handpieces?
Yes you can and I have 3 of them including the one that it came with.

@@GomeowCreations oh wow ok thank you for the reply
No problem 😅👍
Man your lucky I had to work overtime toget mine.
Just work for a few years making content for no pay and you can also get one for free haha
