Kanami had nearly 2 years of Covid to compose this album and apparently took out all her frustrations re Covid out on it. This is their biggest collection of hard, fast, rock/metal that they had ever made to this point. The live version is from a later live stream concert, hence the different outfits, which they tend to change slightly every year.
Yep, Mincho and MISA were actually on the rooftop of moving vehicles😲 Although, vehicles were moving slowly, they filmed the scene without using stunt doubles. I don't know how the director could convince Mincho to do this stunt because she has a fear of heights.
Akane, Misa and Mincho are stunt women. These girls aren't afraid to take risks. Did you notice the huge explosion behind the band at the end. Crazy. Thanks dude.
The closest Band-Maid have got to power metal, in the verses at least, but as always it's with their own twist. The live video is bittersweet, as it's the opening song from their 11 Feb 2021 online show, which they turned into a live DVD. Their previous live DVD ended with them celebrating being invited to play the Nippon Budokan on 11 Feb 2021, but a pandemic got in the way. The cover uses images of their own fingers, apparently, so I'd guess they came up with it. Watch out for it being referenced in the Manners MV. You've seen these outfits before in the live videos to Wonderland, Freedom, Play, Domination and Choose Me. They're the second most recent edition. Apparently, this time they replaced them before they were completely worn out - what a luxury!
I think their outfits have changed since this already, as these were their outfits since the Line Cube shows. Starting from Unleash they've been updated and they wore them at their US tour. I think you'll really enjoy NO GOD. It might feel weird since you listened to the acoustic first, but it's become one of those hype songs. They added a new intro to it for the US tour. The album UW ended up having 2 themes to it after they finished. Half of it are songs that feel like classic Band-Maid, and the other half are songs that are new and different, maybe a bit more progressive to show their growth into new territories (the unseen world as they say).
I'm really interested to hear your thoughts on their progression/changes on this album. This whole series you've done had been a blast. Video-wise, it's funny because it seems like when they do something besides the band in a room, the random settings seem to work better than trying to tie the visuals to the song.

I actually found the 'on top of the cars' element not really 100% fitting, maybe it's because you can see all that pipe construction where they are secured/strapped onto while driving around. Just recently watched "K-On!"..a fav anime of Miku's when she was younger....So many MAID related things to spot!...hehe!...Also just finished watching "Bocchi the Rock"...it also has a little nod to BAND-MAID....I believe I read in a comment on the show that BAND-MAID's name appears in the original manga of Bocchi.!..Cool!...Both anime's are such fun!.
When you get to Giovanni, please, please watch the instrumental MV (might need for someone to give you the file or the Chinese "RUclips" site) also along with listening to the studio version. This song is a masterpiece in my opinion -- lyrically and musically. (Although that's still a couple of weeks away, lol)

Only have to see the smile on Akane's face to know how much she is LOVIN' IT!🥰.......It was cold and raining during the filming of the MV so the explosion was welcomed by the ladies as it warmed them up a bit!...hehe!..And our brave Mincho!..on top of a car!..not only that a MOVING car!..hehe!....I believe Saiki talked her into doing it (not sure) as she was scared..But we know how much she loves Saiki and will do anything for her and the good of the band!...🥰...Long May They Reign!👑

" The video was made private but I wonder if my comment influenced their video idea.

The Unseen World album released in January 2021, so that's only just pushing 1 year at the time of release.
