Hey! I want to ask something regarding Duolingo English Test. So my question is, In USA, DET is only for study visa process or for work visa too?(Don't ignore my question answer it when you saw it)If a person completed his 12 grade in medicals and passed the DET and want to go to USA for doing job not for studies. Or DET provide us with something like job or studies opportunities differently? I'm not getting anything..
DET is generally not used as a standalone measure for work visas or employment purposes. For most work visas (such as H-1B visas), employers typically require proof of specific qualifications and skills related to the job, which may include a different type of English language proficiency assessment or other qualifications depending on the field.
So DET is basically for study purpose right?It's not valuable for work visa right? What if that person want to do work of billing then too DET is not valuable.
