    If you cut off the top and bottom of the onion, then slice it in half from top to bottom, you can easily just peel one layer of the outside off.

      Don't cut the root off, that makes it easier to cut. Just cut the top off and then slice it and half and it's still super easy to just peel with your fingers.

    I have a recipe idea for you, it's a traditional romanian recipe and it's called cabbage rolls!
    Will leave the recipe below, but with an easy google search you can find more variants!
    Ingredients:
    1 large cabbage
    1 lb ground beef
    1 cup cooked rice
    1 small onion, chopped
    2 garlic cloves, minced
    1 can tomato sauce
    Salt and pepper to taste
    Instructions:
    Boil cabbage leaves until soft. Drain.
    Mix beef, rice, onion, garlic, salt, and pepper.
    Place a spoonful of the mixture in each leaf, roll up, and tuck ends.
    Place rolls in a baking dish, pour tomato sauce over them.
    Cover with foil and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 1 hour.❤

    What a pledids meal. Make a nice change from chicken and spuds and that. You can beat a good sausage now and again, you really can't.
    The best thing about them is that they are extremely portable, they slip nicely in to that tiny pocket that you get on jeans, the one just above the normal pocket, near the button, just below the belt loop. They fit perfectly in that, idea for emergency sausage fun when out creeping about the streets.

    Good work, Kay! I am your number one fan in America my family and I will fight over who can best emulate your cooking. We may have lost little Jefferiah III to E.     I learned from the late Anthony Bourdain that you can save your fingers by putting the tips of your fingers straight down on the vegetable. Your fingernails are now vertical, parallel to the knife blade. If the knife slips, it just hits the fingernails like they are a shield.

    here's a simple and tasty recipe i found on the internet for you:
    Roasted Potatoes with Caramelized Onions
    Ingredients:
    4 medium-sized potatoes, peeled and diced
    2 onions, thinly sliced
    2-3 tablespoons olive oil
    Salt and pepper to taste
    Optional: garlic powder, paprika, or herbs like thyme or rosemary for added flavor
    Instructions:
    Preheat oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
    Prepare potatoes: Peel the potatoes and dice them into bite-sized pieces.
    Caramelize onions: In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the thinly sliced onions and cook, stirring occasionally, until they are soft and golden brown, about 10-15 minutes. Season with a pinch of salt and pepper while cooking.

    I used a red hunnyoin recently and it was very, very hot (spicy)!? I didn't think that was "normal." I'm in Alabama in the US. I have been keeping my hunnyoins in the refrigerator. Otherwise, they spoil at room temperature, even with air conditioning. Those sausages look like German weisswurst -- except the Lincolnshire sausages seem to be more plump. To round out the meal, where would we be without the "carriots of fire"?

    I'm someone who keeps her knives razor sharp! My Dad taught me how to use a sharpening whetstone when I was a kid, and I've always used one for my cooking knives.
    Have you thought of buying one of those Onion Cutters? They are safe, and chop well. Very convenient!

    Excellent vid! If you have another onion being like that then lightly chop the onion through one layer in the other direction to where you chopped the ends off then you can get your finger in and peel off the outside layer in one. I hope that helps!

    Hey kay i love to yummy recipes, you should get some hambet patties and mix them with sour cream and cloves and make meatballs, its an ancient scottish dish, then you mix ketchup with lazy garlic and cranberry juice to glaze your sour cream meatballs
