I bought a 2004 BMW Car Manual Book for $1 and sold it 30 days later on ebay for $79 minus the 13% Ebay and Paypal costs and the 4 hours of time it took to buy, photo, post, store and ship. My percent return was much higher than Dave's Card, but the profit was only about $70, which is about $17 per hour for 4 hours.

I had opportunities to witness what are now unbelievable deals over the years including 90 cents for a Topps 1952 Mantle from a 1965 pricelist which I still have. At the time that was too much money for me to spend on a card.

Best thing anyone could do is drop the demand on these cards and guys like this and others who are propping and manipulating the market will leave. $900k for a card is a stupid investment, it's like pass the parcel and the last one to hold the card will be left with a worthless card at the end of it all.

Great job!!! I actually pulled the 1/25 orange back in early 2010 in Afghanistan while on deployment. I would get cases to open on my downtime for my relaxation and pulled that monster. Unfortunately I sold it raw a few months later for less than $1000.
Ouch, you could've bought a decent house with that card today. But then again I passed on purchasing so many nice cards over the years, I would've been a millionaire today if I bought them back then.
