I was in Tamil nadu for few years and i cant describe the hospitality and love given by the locals. The gratification of having food on the ground with your legs crossed and on banana leaves is something thta i can never forget. It gives u an immense pleasure. thank you Tamil Nadu. I promise you that i ll visit you again in future. Wanakkam from kathmandu Nepal !

I just don't like indian foods...it's spicy and unhealthy....I like foreign foods like pizza , burger, noodles , pig meat bacon ya ya ya....I enjoy bacon...I love noodles , Maggie , momos ....chaumin and all Chinese food dude.... unhealthy indian foods especially idli sambar eating with hands

During 80s Tripilicane was a bachelors paradise , At that time , in Kasi vinayaka mess ( Pure Veg ) price of a veg meal was Rs 1 and paise 50 , For regular customer's monthly token price for single meal was Rs 1 and paise 40 .. Paruppu podi with ghee is free .. I dont know still they are maintaining the table no 8A - instead of 9..

I am student of linguistic sciences, I cannot understand this language however when I hear this beautiful and heart touching dialect and get the flow, swim and travel on South Indian Tamil, Karnatic, Telgu words, trust me it gives me complete sense of understanding according to the language which is by default inhereted and brimmed up in my mind like English and Urdu, Excellent language with lovely dialect. Listening different language increases mental ability to understand lifestyle and cultural of dialects dwelling in different areas of this world. Thanks

I've taken food in this mess for some months. I never had any health issues during that period. I still cherish those pleasant memories viz, taking bus from egmore to Bells hospital, getting token for Rs.18, waiting outside the mess, enjoying the pooja and what a divine food. Let them long live.

I have eaten in this hotel when I was in Chennai for almost a month on daily basis..... absolute heavenly food...the giod part is the food, all of it... and the great part is when after a heavy meal u just think man I've eaten enough for 3days and then bang, it digests so quickly inside, you are ready next day same time...with eager and hunger 😋😋

My memory goes back to my stay in Madras during 1963-64. I used to eat in Murudis cafe, Luz corner and the meal costed just 40 Naye paise. It has been 57 years since then and now the same meal may be costing rs 150/-. Chennai is costlier than many cosmopolitan cities Now

Flavours are mixed well by fingers before it goes into the mouth(i.e one step ahead compared to eating with a spoon) and therefore it tastes better! Only an Indian used to eating with hands would able to appreciate the difference. Also, it is as nature intended to be...hand to mouth...
