I agree totally. Many times when I turn someone onto a band or artist they always say "How do you find this stuff?" and usually I tell them "I looked for it". It takes a little effort but if you are willing to put in the time putzing around on youtube there is plenty of great music being made all the time.
I've been around long enough to remember when Neil Young and The Band were getting started, so I hope it's not the gallows jinx to say these guys are having that same level of talent. ...which is gratifying to me personally, 40 years after the gold rush...
@m1larepa I am much younger than you and lost faith in the music industry. There is not much creativity any more, but seeing veterans ears hearing this and comment things like you have gives me hope that the great era has not ended but continuing on is bands like this. Thank you.
Wow. I have said this very same thing on so many yourTube vid's. It's always jaded old people that make those asinine comments. There's good music everywhere if you take the time to actually look for it. Same as it ever was.
Love the gentleman's playin' on the keys! I bet he'd play a mean version of "Take Me Out To The Ball Game" on the organ at Wrigley Field! Just sayin"...
I know. people have to open their eyes. not even much if something's on yt. I came here from a 'hjalmar' video. if you haven't heard of them you should check them out.
Come on my friends. Through out the land. Take this, advice from me. Quit your drinkin', that old brandy. Don't live like Frank Dupree. Frank he was captured, and he went to trial. The judge said, you'll never be free. You'll be hung on the gallows tree. Mother and father, won't you come here. Come see the last, of your son. Do you see what the ramblin and drinkin the rum. And the spoiled life has done. Lookin at my mother, these words she said to me. Oh son. Oh son, what have you done. That you've be hung on the gallows tree. Well I've courted many girls With a dark and rollin eyes. I ask my love, for to marry me. And no was her reply. We walked along quite easily. From the hills we came on down. I stabbed her with my little thin knife. And she fell off on the ground. So listen to, these words I say. Don't let, yourself become. A lover, of this dreadful life. And a drinker of the rum.
I can listen to the organ "solo" till its time to die... Thank you for recording and sharing this magic.
as a human. If you don't stand in awe of all the gifts that nature has given us, you're crazy.
Been coming back to this video for more than a year now. It's still as amazing as it was back then!
And here I am again after 9 years still!! AWESOME SONG
Pretty powerful stuff eh...
These guys are going to be legends. I consider myself lucky to have seen them live off and on for three years now.
Was watching Trampled By Turtles Widower's Heart and this was Up Next on the side. Glad I let it play, this is a good song.

Exactly. There's plenty of great Canadian talent killing it these days. No good music on the radio you say? I say listen to CBC more often
as it always has
Thank you! God damn it I get annoyed with people saying there's nothing good these days! They're just so lazy and blame others for their laziness!
good ol' Saskatoon boys.
@harrypalms1112 I thought prophet was saying the keyboardist killed it as in played very well. So in that sense he was definitely killing it
Love the gentleman's playin' on the keys! I bet he'd play a mean version of "Take Me Out To The Ball Game" on the organ at Wrigley Field! Just sayin"...
