Been 12 years since I discovered this track and still visit it, reminds me of when I went into college
Its really sad that songs like that get lost in the amount of recent content and is no longer promoted to new listener. Its a damn shame that youtube works that way.
I was under 23 the last time I listened to that song and now at 27, so much has changed and the song hit harder, i'm glad I'm listening to it this morning somewhere in 2024.
Sosadvtohear this awesome group was ahead of its time and not around any longer. I’d go to a reunion tour!!
My-my, Jim Morrison meets Van Morrison, Mick Taylor meets Carazy Horse, I am instantly trapped, such a breath of fresh air, we needed this, we deserved this, we had waited so long.............................................
once in a while one finds a jewel. this is one of those.
Still sounds great all these year's on!
Probably one of best songs ever written in my opinion. Even better experienced live 😍
It simply gets no better than that.
long live the old school
sublime version. I am loving the current resurgence of good quality old school musicianship and songwriting. These guys, the sheepdogs, wooden shjips, old crow medicine show, monster truck, you are all a breath of fresh air in a musical world dominated by off the shelf karaoke bands and vapid autotuned wannabees. Please please please keep it up.
Go Canada🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
Discovered this band at the Regina Folk Festival this year. Solid. Bought two CDs and they get a lot of play at home. Great band with a great sound.
Love his voice
I was walking along a road and I heard a man singing a story and he held me with his song.

I dig this band. A beard is a requirement to joining the band. "We dont care if you can play. Do you have a beard?"

Besides, as a fellow Gretschian I salute the lead ax man
@a0522625 Agreed on those two tone machines. However, that's my Wurlitzer 200a and Hammond M3 Geoff is using on this track. Similar sounds....slightly different vibe. (especially the Wurly compared to a Rhodes) Thanks for checking this out! Be sure to check out their latest "covers session" with us over at HearYa dot com in the Live Sessions Archive
!MOAWR BANJO!
