It's been a few years since I've listened to this song. For whatever reason, I looked it up today and found this live version...now I'm in tears watching this. Just beautiful. Thank you and nice work to everyone involved.
Completely underrated. Such an amazing band with amazing music. The poetics of this song are second to none. Makes me think of the amazing hikes I've done.
It's July 12, 2020 and I am just hearing this song for the first time. I am so sorry I've missed out on it until now but I'm making up for lost time today. "And the mountains said that I will find you here"
I love the song but man the fiddle really adds to the feel. This looks like it was GREAT show...so laid back and casual...even the band was in stocking feet.
I was lost in the lakes And the shapes that your body makes That your body makes That your body makes, that your body makes And the mountains said I will find you here They whispered the snow and the leaves in my ear I traced my finger along your trails And your body was the map, I was lost in it Floating over your rocky spine The glaciers made you and now you're mine Floating over your rocky spine The glaciers made you and now you're mine I was moving across your frozen veneer The sky was dark but you were clear Could you feel my footsteps? And would you shatter, would you shatter? Would you? With your soft fingers between my claws Like purity against resolve I could tell then there we were formed from the clay And came from the rocks for the earth to display They told me to be careful up there Where the wind rose up there, in this rage through your hair They told me to be careful up there Where the wind rages through your hair
hi, sorry i am not a native speaker, and i really wonder what he is saying from 0:30 to 0:33 ? could you please transcript it for me please? it's just few words but i can't get it.
"If I know equipment, and I don't." He's drawing out the word "don't", and sort of adding sarcasm to a somewhat common phrase. It's unfortunate nobody else helped you with this five years ago.
Great tip. If you ever find yourself at a live filming. Don't clap through the whole song. It's not your band. :( Respect the music and love the artist. They are pouring out their hearts and have gone to great lengths to get a live video recording. It's a one time deal to capture raw magic. Please respect that.
There are plenty live versions without clapping, and if you wanna hear the song vanilla style listen to the official track. The clapping adds something special to this version. People who get annoyed by crowd-clapping are such buzzkills... no offence
JLXPRO That doesn't make sense to me... if you want to listen like there was no audience -- there are studio recordings. You say you want to hear the 'raw magic', but the interaction between the band and the audience is exactly what that is!
+JLXPRO As someone who used to play guitar in a band, I can tell you the performers feed off the crowd. it's not a whole lot of fun to play for zombies.

Thanks. I also visit it now and again and it never disappoints.

Ugh yes you are all perf
👌👌👌👌👍👍👍👍😘
RIP U-Turn.
2 people live in the future
Canadians keep better time clapping (than Americans), lol. It sucks when an audience claps very loud and off beat. Good video
Ja.... U-Turn war schon nen cooler Gangstar... R.I.P.
Really could have done without the stupid fucking overlays ruining the recording. Otherwise would have been great.

Here is a tip, if you've paid to see the band live, not on youtube enjoy it anyway you see fit.
The band looked like they started the clap anyway..
