Ye Khabib is one of a kind. I rly miss him. But also you Michael... youve changed so many times and everytime into a better person. i highly respect you and your work!
Very well said Bisping. There's a difference between having a beef with someone, which is rivalry and is perfectly fine, and the disrespect that comes with having ENEMIES. Looking at a person and thinking "he's my enemy" then it's a life or death situation. Competition by itself CANNOT be viewed like this. Which is why Bruce Lee said: "Cowardice is not the same as being afraid. Just as facing your fears, or being courageous, is not the same as being a fool." Meaning, if you know you're on another level and offer real peril to another person's life, then YOU'RE the coward for engaging with full knowledge that you might take a life. Which is what Khabib is meaning here. The other part is, putting yourself in danger without needing to is not courage, it's foolishness. If you know you're on another level below or in serious danger, you shouldn't risk life. Life is too precious to be taken away by silly things.
hes got human humility he knows if he breaks the mans hand he wont be able to earn for his family the man doesnt just think about him self but he thinks about the whole world around him and that is 1 of the reasons god has granted him biggest successs in the world.
One of the better videos on MMA Michael. I loved it. You explained it to the T. Sure MMA has people that hate each other. See fights with punches kicks whatever after the bell. But you hit the point on the head. In the heat of the moment stuff happens. Doesn't mean it was ill willed or malicious. It was a great breakdown. Appreciate you for doing the video!
Michael, you are a fantastic communicator and commentator. Keep it up! I’m a desk jockey and have only been in a couple scraps when I was a teenager. Not a fighter by any means. But I have grown to really like and appreciate the great sport that it has become.
100% agreed Thanks champ I was a regional pro in Muay Thai (previously an amateur HW boxer) so I was a real master in the clinch, knees elbows getting on the inside etc... I really never wanted to break someone’s ribs, I was looking to win but hopefully not with my opponent receiving several knees directly to the face or elbows to the the Jaw…they’re potentially life threatening. But I’m 5’11 on a good day at 85kg (187lbs) so that’s short for MUAY Thai..it often ends that way. So can’t say I honestly ever through ferocious power in knees if I had the “hail Mary” plum. It’s enough if just to win and not be unsafe for myself.
And you know this Mikey B, you used to speak alot of shit to reel in your op, and wind them up but you speak alot of truthful sensible statements nowadays. Nuff respect brother
Greatness is when you know you are powerful. But you have to be humble. This is the best thing as human. And he is one of the best as Human, as Muslim personality. May Allah keep pouring his blessing to this pure soul. Ameen.
He never said he didnt want to knock out gaethje. It was the arm again, he said he didnt want to break his arm in front of the parents. Thats why he transitioned from an armbar attempt to the triangle
The mental position of fighters is a vast space the guys with the best perspective become Champions. Guys with World Class skills often fall short mentally. It is what it is just a sport. I competed in mma had all the skills physicality struggling big time with attitude and mentality.

After seeing him switch from an armbar to a choke because he was worried Gaethje wouldn't tap is still one of the most dominant yet honourable displays of fighting I have ever seen
That one knock out from ground to pound where the dude went out cold and Khabib was holding his face while still hitting him was vary nuts he probably didn’t like the way that made him felt afterwords
Good shit. It's like I said the other day to on FB. Many people act angry until they cross that line then learn what real anger looks like right then and there. Fuck the words, here my fist. But all that means is that the real fighter doesn't want to hurt anybody until you make them have to hurt you if they must. I've always only fought out of self sefense or defending a friend. And I've never taken further than it needed to go wit the exception of a time I had blacked out on a kid according to my mother. This is what I love about martial arts. It teaches you to hone and control that energy to deal with a tough situation without completely destroying a life. I always hated the gangsters that were always out looking for a singled out prey. Good shit
Your videos are top quality. I did martial arts for some years just as a hobby for 2 years and I loved it. True martial art is about respect. Nothing more honourable than beating the 💩 out of eachother and shaking a man's hand in the end at the gym.
