This cat just kills it on guitar. I love his playing. I can't understand why his name is not mentioned as often as the other great guitarists. His playing is flawless. Just excellent. Keep rockin' Johnny and "Be Good" always.🎸👍😎
Johnny is my hero. A guitar God to say the least. He could impress any musician in any band and he's a humble, kind hearted person to boot. What more could one ask for in a hero?
Key changes, syncopation, swing, blues, cartoon themes, he's got it all. Awesome.

Johhny Hiland is amazing. He's got the technical skill as well as the feel. He's not just doing guitar gymnastics. And that bass player! Who said bass solos are lame or dead? Outstanding in all ways.
A beast of a set with inspiring musicians! Johnny can give any of the best of the best a run for their money. Johnson, Satriani, Vai, Koch, etc. bring it on. The melodic quality of his playing and versatility across styles cannot be matched. Perhaps the greatest aspect of Johnny, however, is his positive and friendly personality. He is a great teacher and I'm proud to consider him a friend.
Johnny's playing runs the gamut. Amazing how he flows from genre to genre without missing a literal beat.

The song that starts at 34 minutes is a new Johnny Hiland song for me and when it gets rolling it kicks some serious ass!! Johnny's playing goes right to my nervious sytem and man I can really feel this Brother!! Johnny brought me out of a slump I was in and got me back to my guitar and some serious practicing.
