- September 3, 2022 was a hard one. We attended the funeral service of Lt. Col. Dean Ladd. While it is incredibly hard to say goodbye to someone you have come to know so well and traveled the world with over the years, it was inspiring to sit and listen to those who loved him tell stories of what a great man he was. Yes, we will miss Dean a ton, but we are so glad for the times we had with him, and we are so glad that we were able to share his stories with all of you over the years. We have a lot to learn from his almost 102 years of experience. Rest in peace, Lt. Col. Dean Ladd

Thank you for your service Mr. Ladd, you and your fellow men offered your lives in exchange for freedom, and those of us who enjoy those freedoms will never forget. We will carry your names through history as the greatest generation of men to walk the earth.
It's extremely important that the experiences of these men be documented for future generations, while these men will eventually pass away their stories won't.
Four words that come to mind and a tear when watching this video on Lt. Col. Ladd. “God, Duty, Honor and Country”. RIP Ladd, Bless you for your service. We have an America because of you and those like you.

What can be said about Colonel Ladd that hasn't already been said.
The only thing that comes to mind is that he tried to live each day as honorably as he could for the fellas that were left behind. And that's all we as a humans can ever hope for.
