I *love* ion cream toners, and snow cap is one of my absolute favorites. I think there’s also one called lavender moon or something like that that’s one of my faves too

I’ve been using snow cap for about 3 years to get my hair white silver but I always use a 20 vol dev for 30 minutes and that’s how I get what I want! I actually love it more than wella t18 because it’s stronger and also feels less damaging on my hair.
Yesss, I just used the pink toned one (spring blossom I think?) Over my still slightly seafoam green hair and it went almost totally silver blonde in 20 minutes, I love this stuff. 🌸
Omg I did the same thing a few months ago to correct the sea foam green after bleaching my blue hair and it worked like MAGIC. I was so proud of myself Bc I hadn’t seen anyone else try that before lol.
Oh great. I read some people say to use snow cap and spring blossom together and I was worried it is going to be pink lol. So now I’m more excited. I always used t18. But needed something that would work better for me. Thanks
I use the permanent titanium shade from them and it makes my hair so white! I leave it in for 5-6mins! Perfect if you have any slight orangey tones in your hair!
Wish I’d read this before using snow cap… snow cap turned darker on me. But it did blend out the orange nicely

back when i was blonde I only ever used this and my hair came out perfect EVERY TIME! everyone thought i was a natural blonde

One small suggestion: a split screen (with the dividing line down through the center of your nose/face) so that we can really see the before/after difference.

I adore a bright bright white and this drlivered!!!
I just finished the video, and it gave me white hair, but my hair was freshly bleached and a level 9-10
So maybe that's why I got bright white

I used the icy white from that line and it was such a beautiful toner

My hair is a level 9-9.5, but my natural is about an 8. Because I’m not lightening too much I’ve been just putting a toner mixed with a stronger developer on it and that has been enough lift. Thanks for reviewing this one, I’ve been eyeing it. 🙃

I've watched a lot of Brad Mondo's videos and he's mentioned that Wella T18 is a permanent color/toner. He warns people in his "hairdresser reacts" vids 😄. I never knew that before, go figure 🤷♀️ xo

“I would not have used this if I knew if it was a permanent color”… SAME! There aren’t too many great demi-permanent at Sally Beauty that I can ever find :( I have a license so I use Redken Shades EQ, but not everyone is in that situation, and I wish for them that there was an excellent demi-permanent true toner!
Wish Ion was easy to get here in the Netherlands, the video and your comments got me eager to try to be honest!

Hey mi amigaaaaaa. T18 is also permanent color. Wella Colo charm toners are permanent as well, just pastel. My mind blew when I found it out. It's on the box lol. After a year of using it. 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯 I still dig 'em.

Love your eye's and makeup. I it looks much better than the yellow. And I know for anyone it's so hard to actually see the real colors if we are looking at it our self unless we take a picture or video then look at the picture. That's how we truly see what it really looks like. I must say it looks much better. But if you go back at re watch this video you will see that you have several colors going on that isn't even two inches from your roots is a different color and at your cheek bones the color goes even more lighter and your already colored hair looks pinkish. So many blonde colors but it looks better than the yellow.
So glad you tried this! I've been looking at these for a while and hopefully the spring blossom will help tone out the blue from Wella. (I love the color but my job doesn't)

If you use it with 20 on light enough hair it will turn white I used it to do a red and white split dye

@@Chorkymom, I could be mistaken, but I don't think she has. I've only seen her do the semi dyes and the bleaching kit. about 2 months ago strawberry leopard came out with a haircare line of color-safe shampoo, conditioner, UV protection creme, and a color sealing spray

I use this on my boyfriends hair when he's a good level 9/10 without too much yellow, and it DOES turn it white tho soooo it all depends. I leave it on the timer that it says for pastel tones.
Gotta say, it was looking a bit green before you washed it out but it really turned out great! Can't wait to see what you do next 😉

I'm getting ready to dye my hair. But I'm so confused on what color to make the ends. I want to do a split dye. I have guy tang colors magenta magic,mint of steel and violet sorcery. I was going to do half and half but I literally got this exact toner last night and my hair is a silver white but my hair was a blonde blonde before I did it.

It turned my son's light blonde hair gray with a tinge of green. "Snow Cap" name is very misleading.
Yeah, I wanted white hair but didn't get it with "snow cap."
2:40 they sort of have two lines. they look exactly the same, just that one says demi and one doesnt! plus, the demi-permanent color options are not as wide

Hi Aislinn! Love you and your videos, they help me so much. I have a question about permanent vs demi permanent! Permanent means there’s a bit of lift as you stated in the video, but does the developer give it that lift or is it in the cream? My understanding, which could be wrong, is that if you use a 20 vol developer it would give you the lift, but if you use 10 you wouldn’t get a lift and it would be more demi permanent??
I came on here to ask that exact question! I was wondering whether permanent vs demi was related to the developer volume or the colour itself, and would also like to understand how colour formulations differ to make them either permanent or semi/demi.
Correct
Demi permanent are for ppl who change there hair often, or if you frost / highlight your hair and use "lowlights" a darker color in between, you won't have to worry about trying to bleach that darker color out by the time it's time to color again , you can simply color over the demo colors to change from light to dark, or from pink to blue, ect
Permanent has to be removed and Demi slowly fades and eventually washes out after about 24 washes. 10 volume dev will slightly raise the cuticle, but there should be no significant lift involved until you go to 20 vol or higher, but when that cuticle gets raised lol weird things can happen so watch it closely like she did in the video.
There's still some green looking color left but the color is cute
I looked up “Demi permanent toner” and this line popped up for me. So I bought every single one of the platinum shades and then I realized I couldn’t use it cause it was permanent. Maybe I’ll use it in the future but right now that’s not a good choice since I don’t stay blonde
My experience with it it’s more of a Demi permanent iv used it a couple of times

Thank you. I always use t18 and it’s never what I want lol so I’m trying the bleach which I have before :) and snow cap and some of the spring blossom. A few people said these two together are great. 🤷♀️. Hope it’s not pink which the second one does have some pink in it :).

Are you supposed to shampoo your hair after bleaching
Yes always shampoo after bleaching to make sure all of it is off of your scalp and use warm water never use cold water as it can shock your hair and cause breakage
They have Demi semi and permanent
Still can see the yellow and blue she had before toning.
Read the directions - you're NOT supposed to shampoo after putting tonner in your hair.
Can you try the ion bright white cream bleach?
