Check out the Commentary I did for this wedding film: • Commentary - Cande and...
So it seems that uploading the wedding highlights that we make have been getting some traction on youtube. SO, I wanted to share with you guys another video that we (www.motivecinemas.com) created for our latest couple, Cande and Adrian. I wanted to share this video on youtube to show you guys how the Fujifilm X-T3 captured the day. Most of the video was shot in the STANDARD profile, h.265, 60fps, long gop, at 100mbps. Rendered out in 4k. This was an awesome wedding to film for us, it was a little drive south for us being based out of Miami. Cameras were great and were didn't have any issues. The photographer was also great to work with, this was the first time we ever the couple sit down for some shots. Let me know what you guys think! If you have any questions, feel free to ask as well!
Thanks for watching! Feel free to ask me some questions or spark up some conversations in the comments section below and also dont forget to subscribe to my channel to see when I upload new videos: ruclips.net/user/patrickramdia...

As an XT3 owner, this give me immense satisfaction 😁 The colors! 💚
👍🏻👍🏻
This is the first X-T3 video on RUclips that i really like the colors!
Skin looks like skin, not purple, green or blue zombie skin like in other videos. Good work!
Your coloring is amazing! I'd love to see a coloring tutorial!
Excellent picture!
Thanks!
I love the color grading of your videos,,amazing works ...
Coool. Really cool!
The way you frame your shots looks really good. The color is incredible! 1:07 is probably my favorite shot.
andrew mullins thank you!!
great work
Beautiful wedding video! ❤️
Thanks man!
Amazing work!
Thanks bro!
yaaay ! Always nice to see a video with the xt3 (very Under rated camera), I want to buy it more and more ^^ great video !
Thanks man!
Great stuff!
Thanks!
Loving your content! Would love to see a video teaching how you guys expose for different scenes!
Hey Andrew! I don't know how I would approach a video like that. I guess that maybe in my next commentary video I could go over exposure more? But my super quick rule is to just make sure that the sky is exposed properly.
Love it!
Thanks!
Very nice!
Thanks!
holy !
Amazing! Please do a commentary video for this one!
Modern Electron I literally just filmed it yesterday. Skillshare reached out to me to sponsor that video so I have to wait for their approval. Should be public soon. Honestly, check back later this week!
congratulations from Italy! very beautiful colors! I have a fujifilm x-t3 and I have to register the marriage of a friend of mine! I would also like to register the colors in STANDARD. I want to be faster in color correction. what parameters did you change using that profile? thank you!
Hi Patrick, love your work.. Just got my X-T3, did you shoot in 17:9, and edit to different dimensions after? I can understand the 4K 60p, gives that nice slomo in right light, and I wont be afraid to shoot at 400 mbps, regardless the mega huge files. Cheers
Hi, the film looks great!! Some questions: what lenses did you use? What cam settings did you use?
Hey man, thats a super vague question lol. Check out the description of this video and there is a link to what i call my "commentaries". Its basically a really long video where i discuss everything from that day. And there are some parts where I talk about the camera settings!
This looks like a movie
Damn
Howz the autofocus at 4k 60 and 1080 120p
Thanks man! No issues with the autofocus at all. There are a few small hiccups when filming in lowlight or when the sun is hitting directly into the sensor. But thats usual in all cameras with good autofocus.
What lens do you use to shoot video?
Very good video!!!
Hey man, I made a video on my channel that goes over all the lenses that we use! Check it out!
Hi very nice ! Which lens are you using the more?
I have a vide on my channel going over what lenses I use. Check it out!
Does the Fringer adapter give you any issues? Currently am using the Viltrox version 1, and it restarts the camera with my canon glass so I cannot record video continuously.
Grant Stemler no issues at all for us with the fringers.
Great! May i ask - how many batteries you have with you guys? Also, how many x-t3s?
I think I have like 12 in my bag.
@@PatrickRamdial all original or 3rd parties as well?
Btw your video can sell more xt3 than the feature film on fuji global channel
Why only 100 mbits und why no Eterna?
Honestly man, I just think that it's easier to work with when it goes into editing. Then like 99% of the people watching the video will be watching it on their phone (which don't even have 4k displays to begin with). In regards to the color profile, we use the standard profile because after some testing, it still has more dynamic range then most of the sony profiles. We used Eterna for our first wedding with the XT3 and it was way to flat. "But why not just color correct it properly Patrick?" Yes we did. But then it looked just like the Standard profile. For us, we just film in the profile closest to how we want to deliver it. I hope this all makes sense.
Hi, Patrick, do you find the camera shaky? I have seen many video where even with a gimbal, the video was too shaky, but yours isnt, just wandering if you have problems with it in general
Hey, when we used the xt3 we did notice that it was really shaky. But that’s mostly because it’s very small and light. That causes a lot of micro shakes. We used a canon adapter on the Fuji so we were able to use canon lenses. And all the lenses that we used had stabilization. That helped us a lot with hiding those shakes. Hope that helps!
@@PatrickRamdial I am planning to get a fx 18-55mm (a good kit lens), will it fix the shakiness the same way that the canon lenses did? Thanks
Since you are talented in videography, do you have any camera recommendations with autofocus and better stabilizer (shakiness is a personal pet peeve of mine) under 1k usd? I think I will soon go crazy with choosing the right camera haha!
@@anelya2239 I think that lens will help. I see that it has OIS so it should help with some of the shakiness. And for the gimbal, we use the Ronin S.
Dis you used xt3 at night also?
For the reception shots we use a mix of xt3 and sony a7sii footage. The color during receptions start to get all crazy with the DJ lighting so we dont mind using the different cameras.
I was interested in how the t3 behave in lower light. People use even gh5 in that situation so a xt3 to me seems a great performer. Or not?
the xt3 isnt that bad in low light. It is noisy but its more of a grainy. You dont get all that weird discoloration.
