This video is an absolute must! I just transformed the trailer within 2,5 hours. For now I’m neutral about the end result. The gestalt is kinda wobbly and want to fall for over or on its back.. I have to admit that I didn’t install gravestone. Was kinda done with it by then. For sure, I would have sold the trailer without this champs solid guidance!! I’ll spread your word wherever I can!
@@TransformsIntoAGuitar I think this is the same for me. I adjusted my previous comment and am kinda annoyed about it being wobbly. He do looks pretty bad ass but the wrists are loose and breakdown and wildrider don’t tab in that great. The feets are hard to pose.
@@strafe54 I found my second attempt at pegging the legbots on was far more secure, they've never been a problem since. If you fold the hands back there's a screw in the heel of the hand. Tighten it and the wrists won't be aproblem.
Great video thanks! I did mine without any instructions first and broke exactly the same leg tab you did, lol! :) Just watching to see if I missed anything, or how I could have done it smoother. Dunno if it really makes it easier overall, but I ended up fully completing my torso before doing the legs so I had a fully formed torso sitting on half a trailer. Was super solid so when I did the legs there was no torso flopping around on incomplete abs/waist parts. I feel like getting back to trailer without instructions will be harder, so will check out your other vid if I give up!

Kudos! I found your video quite informative. I was following another but they did some stuff wrong. I'm seriously considering filling a lot of the robot with epoxy putty so that it doesn't wobble and panels don't open. Yeah, it would make it non-transformable, but really, who wants to go through the that pain again...
I just transformed this figure for the first time, and used your instructional video to do so. Based on the myriad of suggestions your video was clearly the way to go, and I thank you for it, but my God, the abject horror of this thing. I definitely have a stress-induced disorder related to this figure now.

@@TransformsIntoAGuitar yeah I started with a small screwdriver but I accidentally nicked one of the side panel when my hand slipped and thank god it’s on the inside of his chest cavity snd I am never transforming him again so it worked out but that was the end to the screw driver 😂
Thank you for filming this. I just received my copy yesterday, and just when I got to the part where you rotate the trailer section that makes up the lower limbs, I barely touched it and the single screw that holds the leg to the knee joint sheared off. The wind was taken out of my sails naturally. I finished the transformation, but I'm waiting to hear back if I can get a replacement knee section or I'm going to attempt to drill out the broken part and put in a stronger screw.
@@TransformsIntoAGuitar It’s the screw that is mounted through the trailer/lower leg section that attaches to the bottom of the knee joint. I don’t know why they thought that single little screw was a good idea. I’m afraid of tinkering with it too much from fear of the other leg snapping off.

@@TransformsIntoAGuitar haha, this is true! Might take another look at some point, just updated the vehicles with metallic waterslides and added the arm-fillers to see how they look. Can't decide which I prefer yet though. Need to add waterslides to the trailer and cab but I'm not mentally prepared yet :)

The instructions were mostly useless, the base mode was a hot mess. Before your video, I was thinking of teaching Menasor how to fly. The 'horns' stabbed me several times and were damages from the get go. Much too sharp and delicate, should have been rubber, or something flexable, or just not so pointy. Thanks for the video!
@@matthewklim2387 No. The poses at the end have been done on a very slippery table top. Not as slippery as glass, but close. I wouldn't trust it to hold wider stances.
@@TransformsIntoAGuitar I requested and received a replacement part.... it didn’t fix the problem. Mine stays on well enough as well but when I look at it I know it’s there haha
@@TransformsIntoAGuitar they sent me that clip part.. I took apart the arm and put the new bit in, obviously that wasn’t the problem and I can’t see anything else inside the arm (it’s pretty much hollow) that would correct it.

just a quick thing. The legs for the trailer, if you slide them to the side they lock firmly n place and will no longer fold in

That's awful. I wonder if they used two different batches of screws. I've transformed mine and posed him loads with no knee problems.

I really want to transform back and forth, but the immense weights involved on either side of that teensy waist joint wake me up at night.

England. I don't know why but some items have come here much faster than reaching the US. Normally we have to wait longer.

Hey, thanks for your video. I have the same issue with the spring loaded shoulder joint, did you manage to fix yours?
No, I didn't bother. It stays on well enough and others said the spring caused it to damage the paint.

well got me trailer used this vid. extremely helpful in every way it could reasonably be. just wish the design wasnt so much spaghetti
