Just bought a black 2018 Sport 2.0 model! Was too excited didn’t expect to love the car this much! Would recommend it to anyone! Especially young driver looking for an inexpensive sport sedan!

Accords aren’t sport sedans, they’re just regular family sedans. 🤦🏻♂️
I bought my 2018 accord 2.0t sport in May 2018. Still driving this car everyday. It's such a good daily. Could have not asked for a better daily. The interior is a huge step up for Honda and i love the exterior as well.
I was thinking of buying one. Anything a new buyer should know about that model?
What you get driving on the city gas mileage
@@MrKekej the gas mileage is little bit better on the sport 1.5t. But, if you want that speed go for 2.0t. The 2.0t comes with sun roof and it has button gear selection which I really like on my sport 2021 2.0t.
Is it noisy when going fast? Or do you hear any road noise or wind noise when driving ?
@@Teng69 wind and road noise are minimal only time i hear it is rough pavement/dirt roads. If your asking about highway cruising its hush while still sorta loud compared to a Camry, its definitely not annoying/fatiguing.

I drove by the Honda dealership today and last month. I saw empty lots. I hope things get better in a few years. I also have the same dream. Keep working hard ✊
@@mAUoalajkso heck yeah man. My local Honda dealer has almost no inventory right now as well. It’s pretty sad. On TV they have to use drone footage from 2016 when their lot was totally full. Now they have literally 11 accords in stock. Luckily there’s the used market..?
I used autotempest to get mine for around 23 when they usually go for 30. Get some good credit and your dream may be closer than you think it is.

I test drove one of these in this exact color a few weeks ago and can already see it as my next car! It was a refined and smooth drive and the only dislike is the electronic shifter has about a half-second delay

@@horriblewater7548 Imagine AWD with the 2.0T could be nice, but it'll never happen. Type R isn't even AWD, and Civic fans would rejoice from the mountain tops if that were to come to fruition.

Just bought a 2020 sport 2.0. Coming from a 2010 4cylinder the quick shifts from the 2.0 is something I gotta get used to 🤣

Went to the dealer for the 2021 EXL, but I decided to test drive Sport 2.0 first. Got on the Interstate hit the Sport Mode, then hit the gas... I am now the owner of a Sonic Gray 2021 Honda Accord Sport 2.0. Had to wait a couple of days to get this color but totally worth it!!!😁

I gotta give Honda a lot of credit for making their new Accord nimble and balanced whilst still being surprisingly soft for a heavy FWD car. Practically no front-end plow, although that isn't to say there's some lightness in the rear end. Shame the manual is gone, but at least the 10-speed has gotten refined enough to hold its own. Probably gonna have to lease it if I ever think of getting one new, 32k is a lot to ask for...

@@talhaasim1710 No sir. I like a V6 and all but the fuel economy in the Accord is way better and the power penalty isn’t all that much.
@@talhaasim1710 Why would you choose the slower car? Kia K5 GT and Hyundai Sonata N-Line is better competition than the Camry TRD.
@@DragonKnightX12 I haven't driven Kia K5 GT and Sonata N line. Accord and Camry V6 driven back to back many times. And overall as a car I liked Camry more.
The motor in this car sounds like it's working too hard. This needs a v6. There's a huge difference between this 2.0T and a V6 naturally aspirated motor when it comes to being reliable for the next 10 years.
I get it, most people will finance or lease this car and trade up within 4 years or so. For a long term and cash money purchase I'd go with the V6 Camry every single time. The motor alone will last longer in the Camry and it's not working as hard as this 2.0T 4 cylinder engine day to day in the long run.
Just got a 2019 Accord 2.0T. Came here to see what it can do. Since it’s new to me, still don’t wanna drive it too hard lol

Great car for the price point. With some upgrades that can be done by a determined diyer this car is next level. A suede headliner, custom taillight, cold air, front/downpipe later and im driving a very nice audi for half the price
@Livelive the main advantage of touring is the adaptive damper suspension is supposed to be pretty good. And of course the headlights have a nicer look compared to all pre 2021 models. Whats impressive about the X gen accord is how they satisfied all across the board. Manual, Exl, Sport, Touring, many desirable options factory and aftermarket

This car is near the top of my list. After it would would be a last-gen Accord Touring V6, especially the coupe in manual. But there’s also the Mazda6 Carbon Edition, VW GTI, and others that I really like. This car being a C&D 10 Best winner (Accord 36 times overall) does help.
@Gabe Hernandez I agree. The 2.0T 4 cylinder just sounds like it's straining and working too hard under acceleration and day to day driving. I love the V6 engines for these kind of sedans.

We went from the Accord moving forward with power, style, quality looking interiors to a dumbed down version of itself. It looks like a cheapened early 90’s style car. Completely backwards in all aspects. With everything else today these (car reviewers) can’t say anything negative or they blacklisted from getting any other future products to go over. I have multiple friends and family who not only own Honda products for years but also work in the sales and service departments of different dealers in a couple of states and they know from discussions internally that Honda really screwed up on this so they can get more people to pay a higher premium for Acura products.

Wish this motor and trans was in the CRV
It is between this, the upcoming Elantra N, and the N-Line Sonata for my next car. The Accord is borderline cramped in the front for me, the new Elantra will probably be a bit smaller,and the Sonata has none of those issues. The Sonata is faster in pretty much every meaningful situation, Elantra will likely be the fastest, and I really wouldn’t want to give up a DCT. After living with the directness, the aggressiveness, the shift sounds, and bloody quick shifts under heavy throttle, I don’t think I’d want another TC auto this side of an Alfa Romeo.
The Kia does more for me than the Hyundai. The K5 GT just looks so aggressive, like a Charger.

If you're in sport mode on the automatic do you have to use the paddle shifters? Or is it just like the normal drive mode but you have a choice to use them
You can drive it as both in sport. Just know with paddle shifters you do have to shift through 10 gears though

Mazda6 is still the choice for a driver’s car, Accord, passengers’.
2022 2.0T was the last good Accord without any of the -- hybrid nonsense (more stuff to break), no auto stop of the engine, no CVT
