I Love your bunny room and got so many inspirations from it. Could you also share how you bond your bunnies? Does their bond ever change after Ellie's surgery?
Thank you! So with Ellie and Ollie I always tell people that I got very lucky because their bond was love at first sight. They literally bonded immediately and became inseparable. After Ellie’s spay nothing changed still a very strong bond. But if you are trying to bond I would setup a playpen so both buns can see and smell each other on both sides. Everyday you can increase the time to let them spend more time together outside the pen, until fully bonded. Then you can get rid of the pen and fully free roam together. Hope this helps but there’s lots of great videos here on YT. 💗
Hi Emily! Your bunnies are so well behaved. I had my female spayed a month ago. She came home that same day, had three days of medication and is doing great. I have rescued a neutered male and will be bonding gradually. I home that will have a bond like your two. 🥰
💕Thank you! 😂 I noticed that too at first. But what makes it looks aggressive I think is my carrier bag straps. It’s like a tote bag that you wear on your shoulders. So it has longer straps then the normal pet carrier that are just handles. So when she was walking the way she carries it looks like that if this makes sense.
I have 5 recused bunnies,I had to separate them all , till they were spaded and neutered,2 pairs are are bonded and one female is alone,which makes me sad I’ve been trying to bond her with the two in my porch/ second living room,so they’re separated at night but when I’m here they’re not , not gonna give up, I’m glad Ellie is doing great . I have 2 lionheads 1 agora and 2 female mixed Rex the sweetest bunnies
my bunny had such a hard time after getting spayed :( had to stay awake for two whole nights because i thought she was going to pass away. thanks god she eventually recovered and is now in amazing shape, but the vet gave me the wrong meds and this could have cost her life if i didn't pay attention to it
I had one of my bunnies spayed last week. Now I wake up every morning at 5'o clock to give her the anti pain medication. still 5 more days to go. We both don't like it, but it has to be done.
