I'm here in the second row somewhere. : ) One of the greatest concert experiences of my life. Certainly the best festival. ACL really did it right the first year!
Why is everyone making a fuss about what he said? He was VERY CLEARLY high or drunk or a combination of the two. That is a un-sober man if ever I saw one.
Well the chatter in the beginning is awfully silly but once the song starts who cares! Ryan rocks! One of my fave Male voices. I was wondering if there were any clips of this particular song and as always You Tube delivers!!!
Funny, I was just going to say he talks just like Mitch Hedberg. I don't care about his stage patter though; who cares when the song is that awesome? At least he's trying to engage the audience.
He's talking just like Mitch Hedberg...Except without the humor. But really, when people get famous they just get up on stage and say the most ridiculous stuff and get away with it. I play local music and if I ever acted like that I would get booed off the stage. What a cocky, smug man he is. He and John Mayer are perfect for each other.
Mostly the music. I mean I hear popular artists (like George Harrison, Billy Preston, Elton John, etc.) who do religious lyrics and I don't care because the music is good. But bands like Creed, The Almost, and Jars of Clay who are Christians band with mainstream success suck because of the sheer repetitiveness of their songs and overbearing religious themes of their songs.
I was at this show! I love this guy. I wish he would play again. Great footage.
LOVE IT !
He is drunk and stoned. It doesn't matter. What a great performance.
the drums in this version are brilliant! i love the energy
Drummer is Brad Pemberton.
Just been watching Old School and had to look this song up. Great song.

Maaan, this is the shit! I can't believe he's started playing this one at a slow pace at his shows. This is rock'n'roll the way it should be.
One of my all time favorite live rock clips. KILLING IT
THIS IS A BLAST THANKS
so glad this exists on YT. :)))
I think TS should be a mensch and cover his "Heartbreaker" album. It would be a blast to hear her scream "Lord, I got high!".
+radiozero93 brilliant idea!
I've heard stories too, but so what? I don't know him, I just love his music. go read the enquirer if that's what you care about.
Obviously that person above must be talkin bout themselves...R.A is one of todays best!!!

Why is everyone making a fuss about what he said? He was VERY CLEARLY high or drunk or a combination of the two. That is a un-sober man if ever I saw one.

Ryan Adams, who is actually a very talented and prolific songwriter, as opposed to Bryan Adams whose songs are commercial dribble.
That was the douchiest intro ever...."look at me look at me!!"
yeah you're gonna need all sorts of coke to get through a hot day of performing that hard.
ya think? LOL.

lol begining is soooo awkward.
Learn how to spell his first name. Then criticize his language if you must.
Learn to spell first: Then criticize my beliefs or lack thereof
this bryan adams has a foul mouth
yah he gave up being sober
crapest bridge in a song ever, what was he thinking!?
Who cares about anything beyond the music? No need. It's good enough.
