This video legitimately changed my life. It's weird to think that something as trivial as checking for a video each day could end up making such an impact. Videos like this will definitely be missed...
This is by far, the best commentary Nanners has ever done. Highly enlightening and inspiring. Added to favorites right on the spot. The older the video, the greater the talk's quality and the knowledge. Thanks for sharing these useful thoughts buddy :)
Yet another wonderful, motivational, and most importantly, genuine video. Love videos like these Seananners. I believe I speak for everyone when I say these videos are extradionary for many reasons. Keep being you Seananners :)
Nanners... you've helped me develop skepticism in my days of living life according to the western standards. it has been partially you who made me realize my course wasnt the right one and put my in a position to make me become a teacher. i'm very grateful for that. i'm sure you are still full of philosphy and wisdom. i think me, you and a lot of subscribers would like to see the fire going again :) big thanks for everything. glad you are where you want to be!!
***** 100% agree with you. He is so distant from his original subscribers right now, it makes me a little sad. Adam seems like a great guy and awesome gamer, but I think we all liked him the most for sharing and connecting with us thru his COD commentary or Minecraft commentary. Boy do I miss the days of those videos being uploaded.
Jonathan Barrig his videos like this have made the million views and over before I just think its change. The whole of youtube has changed. Back in the day this style of content was the thing but now making 10 year olds cry in laughter is. I miss this Nanners too, I grew up to PhilosoNanner's advice and thoughts. Missing those days as much as you are buddy.
Still holds true after 4 years...I'm sad I missed these. But I'm very happy to be here now. And this video will always stay in my "Watch later" playlist for whenever I need some motivation. Thanks, Adam :3
One of the realest commentaries I have ever heard, you earned my sub, this is what the youtube community needs. I applaud you on speaking the truth about life, and not caring what people might think.
Man these commentaries are so therapeutic and chill! Damn, I remember watching this commentary back when it came out and I was like 11, so I just dug the gameplay and his jokes back then. Nowadays though I dig the advice, the references, the humor, how relatable some of the stuff is, etc. Very chill indeed. It’d be nice if he could do commentaries like these nowadays, I bet they’d be of big help for me especially since life is so stressful and uncertain right now. Anyways, if you’re still around Nanners, salute to you sir🫡
nanners you are amazing. you actually shed some really good light on a part of my life thats been difficult for me to work out recently and youve helped a lot. just keep doing the things you do...
Just watched this video again, at a turning point in my life. On the verge of falling back into that slave job trap, and worrying I'm failing at my creative dreams. This video and all of Nanners videos always end up inspiring me. Gotta keep going
This couldnt have come at a better time for me lol. Im only a freshman in high school but ive realized how important music is to me and now i think my whole attitude has changed about this and i should just go after it. Seananners you are the best.
Seananners you are one amazing man and I love these commentaries. Thank you for all the great videos. I still remember watching your first videos from your early WaW days, who would have thought you would be where you're at now. Well done sir.
Videos like these are the reason I'm subscribed to you despite not playing any video games at all. A lot of what you said has been on my mind as of late.
Thanks for the motivation nanners. The motovation your videos bring me is ridiculous. Nothing else makes me feel as motivates as your videos. THANK U SO MUCH.
I gotta say - SeaNanners is one of the most inspirational, motivational people I can think of. Adam, you may not realise it, but you're a real role model. Thanks dude.
SeaNanners thanks for making this video it' made me wanna stop being lazy in school and finish my homework and i wanna be a Vet because i love animals and i hate to see them sad or sick or being abused by people it make me cry at times
You sir are an inspiration. You're so right! I wanted to be a psychologist but they don't always make too much money and that was a big worry for me because like most other people I wanted that sweet ride in the driveway of my massive house. I've been thinking this threw the wrong way this whole time! Thank you SeaNanners you have just got 1 more sub and a very happy one at that!
Thank you for the speech. It's sometimes nearly impossible to find motivation to continue doing what you enjoy after you come home from work, drained like a lemon and you just want to sit there and do absolutely nothing... Have to fight it somehow and attempt finding a new rhythm.
I love what you've said in this video...but damn, right off the bat you hit the key points. It's amazing how a topic like this can be talked about so easily with someone like you. Miss you nanners, hope you're doing well.
SeaNanners is the modern day ghandi... simple as that he has the greatest philosophic insights... I'm a 16 year old video game playing DJ. I have always asked my self who sets the bar for my life. I do. I'm not going to put my self in an un-happy situation. Thanks Adam for inspiring me to do what i love! Much love nanners -SicZy
I "Liked" this video a while back because of the good message. All this time later I have to say thanks. Lately all I've been worried about is having money to get the things I want, but thanks to you, Seananners. I'm really going to re-evaluate things and think about not what the money can get me, but how it can help me. So again, thanks a lot, Seananners.
"Having money is the ability to not worry about money." I wish you could have left it at that, but I imagine A LOT of people were like, "WHAAAAAA!?" We're taught from a young age that happiness IS the stuff you can buy, but none of those things ever satisfied me, and I had to find my own way. Point is, if you're not doing what you love, or at least TRYING to and constantly working that angle, then how can one ever expect to turn what they love into something bigger? Preach it, Seananners!!!
This actually helped me so much.. Thank you. I've been very passionate about foreign languages and international relations for 9+ years and everything I've been doing up to this point, I've been doing for those. Earlier today my dad was putting that down and refused to pay for college if that's what I'm gonna do with my life and end up jobless, but I plan on working hard to prove him wrong and pay my own way. Your video strengthened my resolve. Thank you. :) (and great video!)
Dude ur speeches r so freakin motivational that I am now going to take every bit of good advice u have for me and the rest of ur fans and I will always remember Y.O.L.O.
this video made me think about how it is in the best interest of people who sell things to keep us in a state of perpetual superficiality to keep us from finding joy within and give them power over us. Advertising is about making people feel incomplete, then giving them a false solution of a product to make them feel whole again.
My mom, a lifetime artist, heard this video while I was watching, and literally cried. She says you're extremely eloquent, and completely agrees with what you are saying from her perspective.
You make me proud to be... Human, really. To know that other people can realize that Money is not power, nor Superiority, or something to take lives over. I wish everyone had the same perspective as us. To think that there are actually people in the world that could value Money above friends, reputation, family, and even law. I think we could all learn a thing or two about Moral's from SeaNanners.
I enjoy your videos a lot, at the end of most videos you get me thinking about really important, interesting stuff. Keep on doing what you do, your the best
you sum of up everything i stand up for and what i tell people about me 100% i dont watch your videos much but when i do i usually agree with what you have to say... keep it man.
This was truly life changing content. Never in my life have my eyes been opened so wide, or a smile so big slapped across my face. I 100% agree with absolutely everything you said SeaNanners. If you love to do something, you should do it. Money is a thick fog in the... Road of life. If life is a car, Money is the thick fog that prevents us from reaching our true, final destination: Happiness. The message SeaNanners gave me is my set of Polarized Contact Lenses. Life is simpler than it seems.
love you seananners. im studying for my calc 2 final right now, stressing about how if i fuck this up my astrophysics major will be fucked up for life. i was near an anxiety attack and then watched this video and i just gotta let you know the way you articulate life in such a frank and logical way realy helps me out. so thanks. and i really wish we could go skate together, its my favorite thing in the world haha
When i first subbed, i liked the videos more than the commentary now however, i found the video even distracting and found that your wise words meant more to me. thanks seananners =)
This is really an eye opener. Now, I see channels that are of people doing these videos in order to get a partnership with Machinima in order to get that sort of money. But what you said really speaks to me because I was at one time, one of those people as well. Now that I see the bigger picture, I'm now going to post videos of gameplay for the enjoyment vs. for the money. Way to put things into perspective Seananners, you've earned my respect and a subscriber.
Oh, so caring how I'm going to spend eternity is stupidity? Thank goodness you told me that! I've been wasting my whole life thinking about things that don't matter!
Seananners is the only commentator i watch now. He's really the only one who understands how his videos carry meaning and realizes how to get through a talk without saying "uhm, like, i dont know what im talking about." I would go on a long rant about how America is fucked because people only care about possessions but instead I'll just keep it short and say I agree with Seananners.
Im only 15 and i like to think i got the world figured out and how things, people, etc. work but then I watch people like seananners and other people on youtube and realize that there is still an exponential amount of things I need to figure out, hell i don't even know what i wanna do with myself, but it feels like i'm rambling so to sum it up role models help shape you ad a person and there is never a limit to what you can learn.
SeaNanners, this video was very inspirational and has made me want to live with some of the main premises you outline here. You are a great individual, and i salute you ;) Thank you very much.
It's good that you are using your power on RUclips to talk about serious things like this. Thank you for your inspiring video, and it's true: money doesn't buy happiness, it buys objects.
Nanners is my favorite person in the world now because skating makes him happy well before Nanners was still my favorite person bit you know its a bonus.
Amazing amazing words. I love the way you think about money and life. If we could all just do what we loved and be happy, this world would be such a better place.
What a strong statement you made with this video! Man, you definitely belong to youtube, I feel like you make the right decision by not quitting RUclips and going back and concentrating on your own channel. People, see how fluent this guy is while talking to a monitor/headset? Now thats a RUclipsr.
Damn Nanner Man, you seriously put things into perspective. Awesome video, as a 21 year old who really has no idea what he wants to do with his life I think a lot can be said about you making vids like this that really do have and impact. Time to go do something productive!
Awesome video. Ya know..gameplay centered videos are great, but this is what i love: videos about you, either giving your opinion or just talking about your life..
Please do more of these commentarys! People need to hear some truth coming from a guy with exeprience! I watch this video on a daily basis just because what your saying is motivational and makes me think what I want to do with my life.
Very solid advice. Still miss these.
This video legitimately changed my life. It's weird to think that something as trivial as checking for a video each day could end up making such an impact. Videos like this will definitely be missed...

+Vylkeer did you ever see "why so serious"? thats my favorite by far
I miss these type of SeaNanners videos.
Yet another wonderful, motivational, and most importantly, genuine video. Love videos like these Seananners. I believe I speak for everyone when I say these videos are extradionary for many reasons. Keep being you Seananners :)
Too late
Nanners... you've helped me develop skepticism in my days of living life according to the western standards. it has been partially you who made me realize my course wasnt the right one and put my in a position to make me become a teacher. i'm very grateful for that. i'm sure you are still full of philosphy and wisdom. i think me, you and a lot of subscribers would like to see the fire going again :) big thanks for everything. glad you are where you want to be!!
im so glad i just came across this video. i really needed some motivation in my life. thank you nanners for all you do
I watched this video when I was 14 and now I’m watching it when I’m 22. Love Nanners.
Austin Parkes SAME! I stop by here every once in a while to re listen
Wow. I never knew about these older videos. These are pretty awesome. Great job, Nanners! Why did he stop making these?
That's what I'm saying. I'm guessing these videos don't make him money so he doesn't bother making these anymore.......
***** 100% agree with you. He is so distant from his original subscribers right now, it makes me a little sad. Adam seems like a great guy and awesome gamer, but I think we all liked him the most for sharing and connecting with us thru his COD commentary or Minecraft commentary. +theshadowleapord no one cares about these types of videos anymore sadly
I guess his priorities of involvement and commentary have since changed... miss these videos.
He needs to repost this.
Still holds true after 4 years...I'm sad I missed these. But I'm very happy to be here now. And this video will always stay in my "Watch later" playlist for whenever I need some motivation. Thanks, Adam :3
Money can't buy happiness, it is happiness.
Evidently you missed out the main point made in the video.
i wanna make music/audioengineering but this is something ive been worried about: $$$$
Thank you SeaNanners. Videos like this are just like stars in the sky at night. They lights up and makes the thoughts start floating.
One of the realest commentaries I have ever heard, you earned my sub, this is what the youtube community needs. I applaud you on speaking the truth about life, and not caring what people might think.

Thanks for the motivation nanners. The motovation your videos bring me is ridiculous. Nothing else makes me feel as motivates as your videos. THANK U SO MUCH.
This video is legendary because this is first video with the ending, granted it doesn't have the music, ITS STILL THE NANNERS TRADEMARK
I gotta say - SeaNanners is one of the most inspirational, motivational people I can think of. Adam, you may not realise it, but you're a real role model. Thanks dude.
SeaNanners... Man you're just such a good person. The world needs (MANY) more people like you
I'm 14 and I watch SeaNanners all the time, and every time I watch his videos it teaches me something new.
Seananners, honestly you are easily one of the most intelligent, influential people that I've ever listened to. Keep on doing what you do!

Thanks! I really appreciate the fact that you are humble enough to empathize with us and give us some well needed motivation and guidance.

Seananners-One of the rare good things about modern society.

now however, i found the video even distracting and found that your wise words meant more to me. thanks seananners =)
This is exactly why Seananners is king.

Nanners you're my favourite commentator because you seem to be this morally sound and genuinely good dude, that is all. enjoy yo life dawwwg!
I can't force my beliefs on anyone, nor am I trying to. I'm just standing up for what I believe in.
