Catapult Falls 4K off-ride SeaWorld San Antonio

This world’s first launched flume coaster features a vertical lift elevator that transports riders 55 feet (16.75 m) above the theme park before they come barreling down the steepest flume ride drop in the world. Angled at 53°, the elevator drop chutes riders into a watery splashdown at over 37 mph (59.5 km/h).

That lift seems dangerous AF. Is it just sitting on top of it without being secured down!?

Of course it's secured down, the boat can't move when in the elevator ;) it's one of the greatest manufacturers in the world, they wouldn't let such a stupid mistake exist in the final product... And the ride wouldn't even be authorized (there's strict security standards).
