Wow. Our little video, "How to Meditate in a Moment," reached 1 million views on RUclips today. Thanks, everyone, for watching it, trying it, sharing it, and realizing that you really CAN make a meaningful change in your state of mind quickly. ruclips.net/video/F6eFFCi12v8/видео.html
+Martin Boroson, great video, thank you. BTW, I was happy to find your app at AppStore, but very disappoited to see it requires iOS 8.2 or later (while iPhone 4 doesn't stand any vesion after 7.1.2). I suppose your method of meditation is designed for everybody, not only for fat purses, so maybe you would kindly add previous version support, please? :)
"Take a deep breath - come from your busy mind back to your body and feel, that you exist now in this beautiful moment" thank you for this wonderful instruction!
Amazing video, I've watched long time ago (7 years?) and now in 2020 I can see that we need "no time at all" to meditate... with wisdom happens the same: it's timeless. :-)
The psychologial and pedagogic approach here is so clear and amazing. Thank you so much for posting this and for your valuable contribution. My own little method: observing a minute of silence. It's also, so to speak, a form of meditation and a communion between people. It's true, it's only used for commemorating tragic events, but why not develop other uses for it?
I have tried for years to meditate successfully ...... and rarely 'achieved state' ......most sessions have been 10 or 15 or 20 min ....... rarely successful for me..... but something was very freeing about only committing for 1 min ......and it worked ! very cool. Thanks !
Currently using this to clear my mind, it helps maintain my calm and focus even when staying all night studying with an energy drink, which usually drives me hiperactive. This is a blessing during tests periods.
Great channel! It’s channels like this that inspired me to start my own and actually start posting. Especially after losing my job due to corona.Wish me luck! Sending you all love&light! 🌙⚡️🍀
Dont fight it. When youre meditating and you are "Distracted" let it flow. Your thoughts will pass. Remember: Thought happens. So let it happen. Be aware of your thoughts that come and go and soon you will be aware that you have none left.
ive been trying to make meditation part of my daily routine,im really going to make it a point to do it this time. its awesome when you manage to shut off that monkey chatter and you reach that point of STILLNESS and tranquility.
Beautifully made and a lovely and very useful message. It reminds me very much of the practice of mindfulness that Thich Nhat Hanh teaches. Bringing meditation into all the everyday chores and tasks. I highly recommend his book "Peace is every step".
I'm here because of my Positive Psychology class. I tried it and did much better than I expected with a room full of noises for the first time. I feel positive about it and next time will do it in a quieter place because despite it I did lose concentration many times. I am also ADHD don't know if that has anything to do with it, but overall it was nice.
thanks a lot! It helped me again. I saw it over a year ago and today I search one minute meditation in google and here it is, thanks for creating the video!
This is so helpful. I like that it's just quiet (or bare to everything else, like co-worker here typing and the cars passing by), that it opens me to really relax and not worry that I have to be in this state longer. Thank you.
This really works for me! When im trucking, and get cut off, and when i have time to pull close to a truck stop i do this for 30 minutes, and i feel like ive woken up from an 8 hour sleep!
This video is definitely a good introduction but it also drives home the view that mediation is supposed to make you happy or fix your problems! I find that happy smiley face is not what you should be seeking as a result of your practice. Meditation is sitting with whatever arises and not putting on a contrived happy face. Just sit with your feelings, emotions and thoughts and be aware of them... and your breath.
swamygee Absolutely. I learned how to meditate from my Buddhist studies a couple decades ago and it’s not about feeling happy or sad. It’s about connecting with your breath, and by extension, your body. When I finish, I nearly always feel more aware of what’s happening and more powerful about dealing with anything that is happening or may happen. That is especially good for a chronic worrier like me.
Thank you! I always felt guilty that I was not meditating for more time, but I did notice that throughout the day, if I could just pause and quiet my mind for a few seconds "get grounded", I was better off. I appreciate you posting this, as I had no clue it was an actual exercise that other people could do. :)
For that one minute of silence, when I was only focused on my breathing, I just kept feeling better and better, It might have been the quickest minute of my life. When I opened my eyes I felt amazing. It's few minutes after, and I still feel amazing. Great video.
Great idea! It helps me go back to meditation I did at a monastery. We meditated every day for 3 hours, at a sesshin even 9 hours. It was easy in that special surrounding but hard to keep it up in a stressfull every day life. Thank you for bringing it back to me. It doesnt have to be hours, a moment is better than nothing....
I smiled and laughed because I've read your comment before he said that, and told myself "I will not smile because I don't want to be a puppet,too,"...That worked out well ;)
It is to teach people to plan a moment minute of their thoughts feelings relaxing. I think people including me have to plan thoughts like control their thoughts and feelings....or events and other people try to control your feelings thinking events for you. Freak out. So i made a list once of all the good things i can focus on to bring my soul closer to good. I noticed all i had to do is think of a child and i would be out of body next to them to find lost children. The concepts being frequency control focus. Then I read Abraham about paying attention to what i focus on comes into my life. Well so my list was what to focus on and another list not allowed to focus on illness etc. i can think of health all the time. Now thanks for the nice one minute learned into moments. Grace
Hello Martin...so so so good and simple ! Thank you for showing us an easy way how to spread more light and peaceful vibrations in our world ! It also works even if you speak French (hihihi) ! All the best to all !!!
Iv been meditating for years now but recently some extremely strange sensations have been taking place during. Just the other day when i was meditating i started to feel a small tingling sensation. Its happend many times so i just proceed meditating. About 5 minutes later the feel of the tingling gets stronger and stronger (more than i'v ever felt in my life) and it got to the point where it was overwhelming and powerful. My relaxed hand went to a full extend because of the electricity/tingling.
Thank you so much, Martin, for this profound, wise, uplifting and fun video!! I will happily share it with my executive clients at the Executive Coaching And Leadership Center. It makes me smile and feeling refreshed and and... not bad for a minute! The portable minute is great too! Love it!
wow love this form of mindfulness meditation.I practice this form and pshh it sure works. And its true the more you do it the less prone you are to stressors.
Awesome video! It's very helpful to me right now because life is just hard right now. I'm a wife and new mom so meditation is becoming my best friend! Thanks
Meditating before studying or writing the thesis helps avoiding procrastination; problem is one will eventually feel resistance to start meditating. Resistance moves from studying to meditation and that's a problem. But I'll keep on making one-moment meditations, so that it can become a habit.
"Its OK to smile".... makes all the difference. Thank you for this!

Meditation is paradoxically the most powerful and beneficial activity a Human Being do.
This video has helped over a few bad points in the last few years. Many many thanks.
Yes! As long as we can connect with our body and our breath, we can meditate, even for one breath!
Its a modified version of Bipasna! This is what Gautam Buddha did when he left his palace! Great job Martin! :)
I keep coming back to this. Thank you so much! Keep posting these.
Martin, I feel like I can almost find myself in a moment. So grateful x
7 years later, still useful ❤️ best minute meditation forever
LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL AND SO ARE YOU!

The goal is to enjoy every moment for the rest of your life. So, discover your heart and start gathering the joy.

thank you Grace..this is a gift
