Very touching memorial. One of our sons is a Captain with North Lake Tahoe Fire Dept. Every year they participate in a stair climb in Sacramento. They put on all of their gear, which weighs a lot, and climb 110 flights to honor the firemen and people that lost their lives. It's very touching. Fire Depts all over do this.
The memorial visit was so beautiful, it brought tears to my eyes. It's hard to believe that it's been 22 years since that awful day. My granddaughter and I love to make our own pizzas and see what new creations we can come up with! We say all the time it's so much better preparing our own food than eating out! It's never too early to instill these habits in our kids! For me, I have a rule in my house....if I purchase two new items, I have to donate at least two. This way my possessions never get out of control!
Last month I went to New York city and ground Zero. I was not expecting to experience what I experienced. The fountains powerfully depict what happened. Especially the center. I felt the energy there. 🗽🗽🗽
Thank you for the beautiful 911 video section at the beginning ...for those if us who cant travel or dont get out of our senior apartments Brought tears... God bless for inspirational videos🙏 Judy in uppermost mich🌞
Every year I pick up a small 5 x 8" weekly planning calendar from the Dollar Tree. I use it for all date-related things -- appointments, birthdays, tracking health goals, replacing filters, etc. I keep it in a little 3 ring binder of the same size that has my to do lists, shopping lists, meal planning and other short-term notes. I add extra paper to the binder by saving used printer paper that is blank on one side, cutting it in half and punching the three holes. Very simple but works fine for me! Thank you for taking the time to film and share that beautiful memorial.
I use a planner, a calendar, and google spreadsheets. I am younger but my mom always hand wrote everything. My parents taught me the old school ways. I am so thankful that they taught me to write everything down.
The biggest problem for me is hoarding tendencies, I'm trying to declutter as possible. I have an unhealthy attachment to even reciepts. I'm trying my best to donate to those who can use things and to sell some stuff. Putting a yard sale tomorrow. Paper documents are hard for me though lol
I take photos on my phone and then file them in folders on my phone or laptop - that way I can get rid of the paper but still keep the receipts just in case
Hi Emerald, I too have the tendency to hold on to STUFF. However, since 2018 I have been selling, donating and throwing away stuff. My kids are grown. They told me. They don't want it! It's going to be a huge burden on them later. So, I am keeping sentimental things that I absolutely LOVE. This has been so hard for me. 5 years later. We are actually out of debt. We are VERY careful with our spending. Literally, we have no bills but necessary things. If I am in a store. I ask myself, is thing worth trying to find a place for and paying for? You can do this! We are all rooting for you. God bless you Rhonda from TN
We use a paper calendar out in a shared space. Everyone puts their appointments and work schedules on it so we know where everyone is supposed to be :)
One of the things I do so I don't forget family birthdays--When I get my new planner each year I go through and write in all the birthdays on the month pages and on the weekly pages, then I make a note a week before each birthday to send the card (we are a big family and scattered all around the country). I have a card book with a pocket for each month. I try to choose cards for each person (6 months or a year at a time at the dollar store) and put them in the correct pocket, writing the name of the intended recipient under where the stamp will go on the envelope. I also purchase enough stamps for them all and store those in the card book, too--this year the post office had birthday stamps so those were the ones I bought. Keeping a list of family addresses with the planner or card book makes it super simple to get cards to my loved ones always on time.
I use an old fashionable calendar to help me stay organized. I also have spiral notebooks (bought on clearance) for our weekly menu planner, shopping lists and inventory. I love the short videos on Tuesday and the extended one on Friday. Take care.
I retired two years ago and at that time I started writing down in a planner every cent I spent all month. I must say, in that time I have only gone over my monthly budget twice. Once I was over by .20 cents, the second time by about 100 dollars, and that was because of unexpected repairs! I refer to my budget several times a week and that keeps me on track! I still use the envelope system for a lot of purchases. That system served my parents well 50 years ago, and it still works today!
Yes pizza night. Wish had smell a vision. Need to organize a few things . chemo appts., other things helps daughter. what weekend can also get our granddaughter. She is learning new competition dances.
I have been a list maker since I learned to write I think !! lol Great video !! My Dad use to tease me and say , if you spent more time doing the things on your list instead of writing them all the time , you would get more done haha I think I like crossing things off my list , then I see what I have accomplished !! Thanks , blessings to you and Paul !
ugh, I remember the horror of Window Shopping as a kid. it would be what mom wanted us to do to waste time walking up and down a mall for hours on end till our feet hurt so much and we didn't buy anything, just to waste time while Dad was working and soon to get out or was at a doctor's appointment. Really seriously HATE window shopping.
I use my phone/computer for work, but LOVE my paper planners for home, gardening, meals, etc…my husband and I share on a fridge calendar so we can keep track of each other 😉. And by the way…love your current 2 videos…always good to see you all, and enjoy your content.❤
Pizza looks really good! I am a dinosaur, I use a monthly calendar to write down everything that needs to be done and everything else that I do. That system comes in handy if you have to look back to check on something. My kids laugh because I don't use my phone but it's just not the same as writing it down. I even use an old fashioned address book. I love your Friday videos the best. Have a wonderful week end! Oh and thanks for taking us on a little field trip, love your beautiful area.
@@carolwoodward6141that’s EXACTLY what I always say!!! Especially if folks ever poo-poo my old-school paper notes. I never have to worry about them being inaccessible due to lack of electrical/battery power. BOOM. 💣
Every Friday I use a dry erase marker and write on the front of my fridge what tasks I want to get done over the weekend. Did you know you can use your fridge like a dry erase board? 😃 I also use it to write notes to the kids, chores lists for them, and they use it instead of scratch paper when doing homework. Sometimes someone just writes a funny joke 😂
Lovely memorial. An exhibition of pieces of the North Tower just came to town. Didn't lose anyone close in the attack, a dear friend barely made it out alive, but she made it. But I feel we all lost something that day. I always used a large calendar that my husband printed off for me every year to keep track of the family activities. I'm getting better at using my phone to keep track of things, but I still use a written planner for back-up. keeping track of activities has always helped me plan meals and not waste food and helps me remember appointments so I don't get charged for missed appointments.
What a beautiful memorial you have there.....really cool that there is an actual piece from the site...very sad, very worthy of a memorial! Thank you for sharing with us! I sat in my car and cried yesterday...my heart ached(s) for those who lost....just like the past wars, etc. We pray for those who are left behind, for courage, wisdom and discernment to carry on , which is what I know God would want us to do. Thank you for the lovely video! :) Dawn @ Rich & Dawn in MN :)
Beautiful quilt!! Amazing price. I have my paper calendar on the wall by my desk. I write so much info on it and check it every morning. I also live off index cards. I am a list maker. Tasks to do for the day, appointments, whatever I need to know for that day. I check each off as I complete it. Very fullfilling and I get things done!! When school supplies are on sale I purchase 10 packs of index cards yearly. Also I buy 12 spiral blank paper notebooks. I have a notebook for everything. My garden, gifts and Christmas, long and short term food storage, my pantry, and more. I love having a written record of everything. Keeps me organized. I have a leather bound book that I keep my monthly budget it. Been using it 10 years!! Each month listed each bill, cost, payment date. All extras listed too like AAA, doctors, etc. Been doing all this for so long so it's second nature to me. Fast easy.
What a beautiful memorial for those who sacrificed all…..thank you for sharing. The Paul approved pizza looked delicious and what a nice find at the church flea market…..this week I found 1 lonely freezer pie crust and a large can of sliced pears….like magic, a pear galette appeared with homemade whipped cream….a yummy no waste dessert…..thank you for all your frugal tips….
My husband , son and I went to the Oklahoma memorial. It was beautiful, quiet and very respectful. The chairs from the daycare children made you want to hold your children. The fences with pictures, toys, clothes attached to the fences made you cry. It wasn’t big but it took the same space as what was bombed. There was still a portion of the wall. Also a tree that survived that day. Makes you grateful and thankful for our blessings. I have done the notebook for our rent. A notebook with menus, and grocery list plus a list for items I buy at the grocery store with prices. See the ups and downs. I have a wall calendar, planner and notebooks. Enjoy all your videos thank you.
My mom used to make pizza like that. One time a neighbor boy was over playing and saw the pizza and told my mom “maybe it will come out round when you cook”. ❤
Im flying into Albany tommorow and driving Warrensburg to see my 98 year old gram. I wish I could meet you guys, HUGE fans. Beautiful memorial, where is that ?
I just love your pizza recipe, thank you for sharing!! I need to do that more often with leftovers! Thank you so much Emmy and Paul for your continued inspiration. For organizing, cleaning is easy I separate it into days. Monday Weekend cleanup, Tuesday Bathroom Focus, Wednesday Kitchen Focus, and so on. Freezer Inventory is a dry erase on the fridge, pantry is paper lists on the inside cabinet. Budget is done on a notebook and Excel spreadsheet. Each morning I wake up and curate my to do list on paper to keep me focused! Appointments are on a wall calendar. Everything is a bit different and spread out but it works lol!
I just LOVE your channel! I, too, have a (separate from this ID) channel and was cracking up to myself yesterday as I noticed while editing, that I do some of the same mannerisms you do in yours (the head/shoulder shakes, etc.). I think it’s endearing! Thank you for sharing your life philosophy and habits; it’s so nice to keep in the right frame of mind for saving money 💰 and enjoying life ❤, by watching channels like yours, daily. I hope this message blesses you to know you make a difference in others’ lives. Cheers!
One thing I like to do is make a quick compote from all kinds of sweet fruit. I cook it quite quickly just enough to soften it through and make it more flavourful. I don't need to add sugar it's perfect for oatmeal or yoghurt. Since I'm cooking quickly I usually have quite a bit of fruit juice left and I love using that as a mixer for iced teas or a squash
Organization...since i am older i am a visual paper lists and calendars but also log and carry iphone for everything too. Our son makes scratch pizza dough for their Friday Pizza Nights...but he has it perfected cooking on the Barbecue during the hot weather so as not to heat up the house plus saving energy. The 3 yr old loves making his own pizza The memoriall is beautuful. Glad you found a video schedule that works for you!😊
@@FrugalMoneySaverPizza Fridays. He makes the dough the night before so when they get home from work they just assemble. I got treated when I was there babysitting for 2 weeks Charlie made his moms pizza with mounds of toppings. Lol
I am a huge fan of planners. I have weekly menu planner sheets I keep in a large black clip in the kitchen. It also has a space to write ingredients I need to use up, new ideas for recipes, etc. On days where I just don't know what I want to fix, I can go back to the same date as last year and know what I fixed then to see if it's something I want to fix. It also keeps me from repeating recipes too often. I usually keep about 15 months of menus in that clamp and then weed them out come the new year. I keep a garden planner and journal. It's the only way I can keep track of when I plant, what I plant, when to fertilize, when to water. The schedule helps me maintain my veggie garden and it works beautifully. I also keep a large calendar on the wall in my kitchen to keep track of appointments, birthdays, anniversaries, pet meds, etc. I really enjoyed your video. I also enjoyed seeing how you were able to buy the quilt/comforter. It is beautiful!
Love the Tuesday shorts, they help me make it to Fridays full length videos. My mon didn't have anything written down but some how always knew every ones appointments and plans. She also knew what was in the pantry and freezer. How she did it Ill never know. I have to have it written down, so I use a monthly calendar. I am jealous of your new quilt, it is exactly what I have been looking for. Enjoy
I have printed out free forms from the internet for freezer and pantry inventory. I keep them hanging on the front of my frig. I created my own grocery checklist on the computer and use that each week, along with a menu plan form that I found on the internet. I have a small Calendar in my purse and a big wall Calendar in the kitchen. These things are life savers! They keep me on track. ❤
I use Notebook and calendar and a daily and weekly list. Meal plan x 14 days. My entire budget for a month is one a single page . Ever category from Church to hair cut. Planned 😊
I've tried electronic memos, etc. but I'm a pencil and paper kinda girl (I'm almost 62). I do use a planner notebook, Post-Its and a dry erase board. That pizza recipe was amazing! I have never done homemade pizza, but it's on my bucket list. LOL! I love your quilt purchase. The colors are so warm, yet so "beachy." Thank you for the beautiful visit to the 911 memorial. I'm not an emotional person, normally, but that one got to me. Thank you for all that you do. You guys put more into your videos than anyone else I watch. May God greatly bless YOU.
Emmy you could not have said it better. I thought as a kid my parents were stuck in the 50s but I understand now. I love the 50s era, and the 80s as that was my time. That memorial is beautiful. I know exactly where I was when the first tower was hit. OMG SATELLITE SAUCERS!!!! I have not had those since I was 6! you guys have the best magazine choices. Living in Quebec, they push French magazines and cut back on all the amazing English magazines especial DIY, crafting and decor mags.. Oh I love that quilt! it looked nautical. My brother would have loved it. WHAT? $10 for that set??? never would we get this here never. Great find! My parents had minimal stuff. And today its chaos. We pay more in hydro from all the devices that need to charge and be plugged in. I definitely need a planner. I am frugal and use my calendar that is 5 years old. I print free calendars each year and stick them over last years. I can flip it up and see the year before what I did. I plan on creating handmade planners. Using junk mail and boxes. I can’t buy one because they are so pricey here and limited in English. Excellent pizza! great combos! I have to give sourdough another try. I had it for a year and stopped because I didn’t need to make bread or pizza every week anymore. My recipe is a 4-5 hr ordeal. Overnight fridge dough is the easiest I tried. But I need to try your recipe! Whew that was a lot of chatting!
Love the library so any books I needed a new duvet cover and found new one at home still in the box. Feel like I have saved money. I’ve gone back to keeping paper records because lately technology has become unreliable. So your tip is great.
We have a large desk calendar at our computer area which is near our house phone. I have a personal planner, 8” x 11” planner for all of my appointments, menu planning, to-do lists, etc. and an additional 8” x 11” planner for our BnB business, where I keep detailed information about guest reservations. It may seem like extra work having 3 planner/calendars but we need space for a lot of information. And it is helpful for us both to know where the information is with easy access. We may be retired but we have 2 part time businesses going, plus church, family, medical appointments, social events. I would be lost without my planners! Thanks for being such encouragers.
Love your two videos per week Emmy! …the short on Tuesdays and the long one on Fridays . Thanks for showing us the lovely memorial garden on the Hudson River . We live in Canada and we will never forget that horrible day. We were able to visit the Gander airport in Newfoundland this summer where so many planes landed unknowing of the horrific circumstances in other US airports. Lest we forget ❤️. On another note I can’t wait to try your delicious pizza idea and do you think your sister -in -law might share her roasted pepper recipe with us on the channel? They look so yummy as well.😊
I know that park quite well! It's beautiful in every season! I stay organized by keeping lists. I no longer use paper, but I maintain several lists on my tablet and phone simultaneously. A shopping list for each of my go-to grocery stores; To-do list; Grocery expenditures list....then I see each month's total for a one-year period; Doctors appointments always on the paper calendar! Gotta figure out where the new Tractor Supply Store is...Hopefully, Google will help me! Stay safe and be well! Mrs. D. Hudson Valley
I use my calendar on my phone to plug birthdays and appointments in. I use a spiral notebook for everything that I need to do daily. I even add the recipes that I am going to make so that I don't have to pull out a cookbook and find it or fight keeping a book open or looking up the video. I can also go. back and use that as reference later on. I include canning times and things like that if I am canning something. I then use another spiral to jot down all prayer requests, dreams, bible study notes and things of this nature, so that I can keep track of that as well.
Hi Emmy & Paul, thank you for another excellent video which I really enjoyed and found inspiring. Your videos are always so very well presented and your content is always pointing people to live in more positive ways. That's why I love watching your channel every week ❤👍. I am a person that is most productive when I make a timetable for my day. This is the only way that I can ever be organised! Following a timetable enables me to make much better use of the time. It also is flexible if the need arises, such as an unexpected visit etc. You're right, It is so important to stay organised. Thanks for being such a blessing. May God continue to bless you and your lovely channel. Have a wonderful week. ❤😊
A very large old fashioned calendar on my fridge keeps me organized. I organize appts., bill payments, lawn treatments......... basically everything. I like to save the calendars and refer back to them just to see how much my costs increase and it can also be (sorta kinda) like a bit of a personal journal.
That pizza looked soooo good! I like that thin, crisp crust. I use my phone for contact info, appointment, birthdays, weddings, anniversaries and encrypted passwords. I use the Notes app on my phone to keep track of To-Dos lists, grocery lists, bill payments, recipes, etc. I can access my bank account and pay bills from my phone. Anything I might otherwise write down is in one place. I can access it anywhere, anytime, since my phone is always with me. It backs up frequently in case I lose/misplace my phone. My phone is really the only computer I need (although I have a laptop and an iPad). I could even watch TV or RUclips on it if I didn’t have other devices. I keep chargers in several rooms in my house and in my cars. I can track my keys and/or my phone with the tile app.
I use a calendar in the kitchen for our big family. I use a day timer for myself. I am a home schooling mom, so I have to be organized. Thanks for the lovely video!
We stay organized by using our phones. We started with a shared calendar so any appointments either of us have are visible to both, after a medical issue several years back. Then after that I started using the notes in my phone, I keep my personal “to do list”, a home project “to do list”, shopping list, lost leader shopping list, meal plan, various notes & a prayer list. Any or all can be printed if we need them in hard copy. Some of these are shared and some not, then we use the free Dave Ramsey budget app on our phones for money and budget. I’m not naturally organized and would loose note books or written list, I’d forget the grocery list and so on. But it’s rare I forget my phone, so it’s been a life saver.
Another great video! My husband and I use Google calendar that we can access from our laptops or our phones. We put all of our appointments and things to do on there and set reminders that come in as emails or notifications. If its REALLY important that we don't forget something, then a simple paper note on the kitchen counter or a sticky note on the fridge always helps!
I just have a regular routine I stick too, if I need to do something out of the usual I just do it when it fits in to my week. I have good habits from my Mom, which is a Blessing. Love your and Paula video's! Thank you!
I use my phone calendar for appointments and have it set to remind me a day ahead and also at least an hour before the appointment. This works really well for me since I live alone and don’t have a lot going on.
Thank you Emmy and Paul for reminding us to never forget! On a lighter note, being from Western North Carolina, I take Goo Goo clusters for granted. Sooo good!!
I grew up in sleepy Hollow moved to the capital district. I just absolutely love your videos, and you have the best ny accent ❤ the New York State Museum is also free and it has a beautiful tribute to 911
I use a personal planner for myself for my work/home life and also factor in my teen's homeschool schedule. I also use a magnetized dry-erase calendar on my fridge. My teen has her own planner as well. I have a small notebook that was gifted to me to keep my Bible study notes in front and my monthly budget in back. It's the perfect size and I can immediately notate what has been spent and the money coming in. Another excellent video!
Oh my goodness, Paul's reaction was priceless. So cute! When one of my family members raves about something I cook, it warms my heart and makes all the extra effort worth it. ❤❤ We are having pizza tonight for dinner. ;) I am personally gluten free, but I like to use up gf buns/rolls as pizza crust stand ins. It has worked out very well and I, too, get to enjoy a delicious pizza option.
I also love Tractor Supply. Here in Tennessee ours lean more toward farming and gardening, a small section of books, magazines and candy but nothing like your new store. Yea for the Goo Goo Clusters, made in Nashville, Tennessee. We use Excel for doing all our tracking. Looking forward to seeing that new bedding in it's new home.
I write down birthdays and appointments down on paper, and on the calendar! I also think it’s good to write out a monthly budget on paper. I also like your short videos on Tuesdays and the full length one on Fridays!! Mostly I enjoy the fellowship of like-minded people and being reminded of the frugal and practical ways of our parents, etc….it’s good for us all to be reminded!!
I have a calendar hanging on the wall right beside my chair in the kitchen. I keep all appointments and happenings on there. I also keep my Bible and devotional books on the table. I’m 70 and hubby is 71---we no longer have kids to shuttle to various events. But we do like to see our grandkids as often as we can. What a beautiful memorial to all the fallen souls from 9-11. That was such a sad and dark day for our country……😥 The quilt and shams you found at the church sale were gorgeous. Oh my goodness, you guys find the neatest things! QUESTION: why is your pronunciation of “mozzarella” so different from anything I’ve ever heard? Very curious…😊 ❤️-Brenda
Brenda, I am of Italian descent, and that is just the way we have always said it. That is how my grandmother from Italy, my mother, the whole family have always pronounced it
I shop at Black Friday Deals near me. Everything is 50 cents each on Wednesday. I found a stack of 8 spiral planners for 50 CENTS. I use them for notebooks, when I have garage sales, inventory, or home info, such as when I bought something and the warranty info. Also, the size of rooms, windows, etc. Some of these have a budget planner in the back. Great for keeping all info in one place.
You guys are just fabulous!!!😀👍 Im not that organized as I should...probably...but I do have a calendar and in it I write everything down. It is relaxing reading the week through befor bedtime and then I know, and can sleep in peace. What is not written there, doesnt exist...simple as that...and I save nerves 🤪 I have an app in my phone where I can write down things I must remember to fill in my calendar when I get home...and last but not least...my notebook...so important to have by the bed...it is in the bed all thoughts are coming, all ideas all must-do's...I write them down...and I can sleep good, knowing I took care of it...
What a beautiful Memorial, thank you so much for sharing your visit. I use a calendar for day to day appointments. An Excel spreadsheet for finances. A separate A4 journal for Christmas presents I buy for people. I have just bought a yearly planner so that all my lists can be kept in one place. Xx
I'm embarrassed to say I'm not organized at all anymore.... I used to own homes I used to run doctor's offices so I had to be very organized. Now since we both had medical issues and had to retire and lost our home, I suck at everything lately 😏 I try I just really fail these day's. But you encourage me and I will continue trying. I just need to find me again
I use a pocket calendar. I keep it with me all the time. When home, I leave it on the kitchen table. When I'm out, I keep it in my pocket. That way, when I need to make an appointment, I can easily see what time is available. For example, when I finish a doctor's appointment, it's easy to make the next appointment while I'm there. I have my calendar in my pocket. When I'm at home and calling to make appointments, I usually sit at the kitchen table, so I have my calendar right there. This works well for me.
I'm really jealous of your pizza 😂😂I would like to come by for a slice or two!! Roasted peppers are probably my fav pizza topping next to mushrooms 🤤and mozzarella is the best cheese!! This is better than fancy restaurant pizza
Beautiful memorial, I remember that day so clearly, that was a very sad day. We have a Tractor Supply store near us and we love it. I write appointments on my calendar, and write a list of things I want to get done on a piece of notepaper.
The best way for me is using a calendar on my counter bar.. Use for all appts and activities plus I add bdays also. My mom was a list person and I do the same.. I make lists for groceries. To do tasks around house. List what I need to buy on next trip to store.. Things I need to replace such as AC filters or water filters.😂
I cross organize- i use the calendar on my phone for appointments and tv shows i want to watch, mainly because i like using the reminder features and alerts. And all my family’s appointments go on the calendar on the fridge so we all know what’s going with each other schedules.
I loved the visit to the memorial. I use a notebook to organize our finances. I mostly just use my phone for all of our appointments. I really liked the pizza. I think pizza will be my new last minute dinner. As long as I keep crust in the freezer I can use what I have in my fridge for toppings.
Thanks for this one, Emmy and Paul! Please share your recipe for spinach dip because it looks great and I haven't found it in your previous posts yet. Thank you!
What a lovely tribute! God bless them all, and keep them safe
Such a beautiful memorial. I lost my father-n-law at the Pentagon that day. It is a day that we will never forget. Thank you for remembering.
Oh, I am so so sorry for your loss and your family’s…
The memorial visit was so beautiful, it brought tears to my eyes. It's hard to believe that it's been 22 years since that awful day. My granddaughter and I love to make our own pizzas and see what new creations we can come up with! We say all the time it's so much better preparing our own food than eating out! It's never too early to instill these habits in our kids! For me, I have a rule in my house....if I purchase two new items, I have to donate at least two. This way my possessions never get out of control!
I love that idea! Thanks for sharing!
Last month I went to New York city and ground Zero. I was not expecting to experience what I experienced. The fountains powerfully depict what happened. Especially the center. I felt the energy there. 🗽🗽🗽
Yes! It’s amazing the amount of energy there😢
We will never forget. Thanks for sharing the Memorial.

Always!
Thank you for the beautiful 911 video section at the beginning ...for those if us who cant travel or dont get out of our senior apartments
Brought tears...
God bless for inspirational videos🙏

Judy, I am so glad you enjoyed our video. Thank you so much for watching.
You and Paul are such a great example of what contentment truly means! Thank you!
So kind of you to say, thank you!
Great organizational ideas! Thanks for sharing.
I am learning that simple equals happiness. Thanks for all that you all do
Happy to hear that!
I use a planner, a calendar, and google spreadsheets. I am younger but my mom always hand wrote everything. My parents taught me the old school ways. I am so thankful that they taught me to write everything down.
Jessica, that’s wonderful your parents taught you the olden ways!
Emmy and Paul I enjoy your friendship seeing you vid having a tea and scones 😊✨
Angela, thank you
The biggest problem for me is hoarding tendencies, I'm trying to declutter as possible.
Hi Emerald,
I too have the tendency to hold on to STUFF.
God bless you
Rhonda from TN
I hear you. Paper is the worst. The struggle is real.
Good sales tomorrow.
Paper clutter is difficult for me as well.
The memorial was beautiful way to have a date. I absolutely loved the quilt! What a find!!
The memorial was wonderful---very meaningfully.
Thank you
I wish there was an easy way we could share photos of our pantries on RUclips postings like this. It might make for a good encouragement for others.
That would be a big encouragement!
Thank you for sharing the memorial. I found it very moving💜💔
We use a paper calendar out in a shared space. Everyone puts their appointments and work schedules on it so we know where everyone is supposed to be :)
I also really enjoy the Tuesday shorts. Glad it’s working out for you.
Yay! Thank you!
Great idea!
Wonderful, wonderful tips!
I was at work 911. I was horrified at what I was seeing. Went to the memorial A few years ago. It wasn't finished when we went. Never forget
I use an old fashionable calendar to help me stay organized. I also have spiral notebooks (bought on clearance) for our weekly menu planner, shopping lists and inventory. I love the short videos on Tuesday and the extended one on Friday. Take care.
Thank you so much for the encouragement!
We have Tractor Supply but yours looks more attractive. Thank you Emmy. From NC.
Thanks for watching!
Love that so much! Obviously it works lol
Blessings to you as well, thank you so much
ugh, I remember the horror of Window Shopping as a kid. it would be what mom wanted us to do to waste time walking up and down a mall for hours on end till our feet hurt so much and we didn't buy anything, just to waste time while Dad was working and soon to get out or was at a doctor's appointment.
Kelly, thank you so much!
Hey, you don’t need charging cables or batteries for your calendar.
I am a total dinosaur too lol. I write everything down. I never use my phone.
@@carolwoodward6141that’s EXACTLY what I always say!!! Especially if folks ever poo-poo my old-school paper notes. I never have to worry about them being inaccessible due to lack of electrical/battery power. BOOM. 💣
Thank you for your channel..I love hearing from like minded folks...enjoy so much...Thankyou
You are so welcome! Thank YOU as well for watching!
When you write, it does something in your brain making it easier to remember i believe.
I agree!
Every Friday I use a dry erase marker and write on the front of my fridge what tasks I want to get done over the weekend. Did you know you can use your fridge like a dry erase board? 😃
I also use it to write notes to the kids, chores lists for them, and they use it instead of scratch paper when doing homework. Sometimes someone just writes a funny joke 😂
Oh my gosh, what a great idea! Who knew?
Use dry erase markers on car windshield to list errands( gas, bank, library, etc ) so all happen
Yes, great idea!
Very well said Dawn!
Fast easy.
I'm a fan of index cards, too!
Sounds like you have a really well working system
What a beautiful memorial for those who sacrificed all…..thank you for sharing. The Paul approved pizza looked delicious and what a nice find at the church flea market…..this week I found 1 lonely freezer pie crust and a large can of sliced pears….like magic, a pear galette appeared with homemade whipped cream….a yummy no waste dessert…..thank you for all your frugal tips….
I bet it was delicious!
That must’ve been so moving! Horrific!
My mom used to make pizza like that. One time a neighbor boy was over playing and saw the pizza and told my mom “maybe it will come out round when you cook”. ❤
🤣🤣🤣
Im flying into Albany tommorow and driving Warrensburg to see my 98 year old gram. I wish I could meet you guys, HUGE fans. Beautiful memorial, where is that ?
Have a lovely trip! It’s in Peekskill, New York. Unfortunately, Albany is. several hours away from it.
Beautiful quilt!!!!!!!! Thanks for showing the inside of Tractor Supply. I didn't know they had opened.
Thank you!
Long as it works, then it’s perfect
We are Blessed Love Y'all lots and lots Emmy and Paul and DixieBelle ❤❤❤😊😊😊
Wanda you are so kind! Thank you so much
I just LOVE your channel! Cheers!
Thank you very much! We appreciate the kind words and encouragement.
Keep a notebook in my backpack, and a notepad on the fridge.
That's a great idea. I will try it. What fruit do you suggest?
I use mixed berries for waffle topping or yogurt @@barbarabruce7648
That's a great idea!
@@barbarabruce7648 I use different berries but also pineapple and apples works well
Organization...since i am older i am a visual paper lists and calendars but also log and carry iphone for everything too.
Our son makes scratch pizza dough for their Friday Pizza Nights...but he has it perfected cooking on the Barbecue during the hot weather so as not to heat up the house plus saving energy. The 3 yr old loves making his own pizza
The memoriall is beautuful.
Glad you found a video schedule that works for you!😊
I’m sure your son’s pizza is very good
@@FrugalMoneySaverPizza Fridays. He makes the dough the night before so when they get home from work they just assemble. I got treated when I was there babysitting for 2 weeks
Charlie made his moms pizza with mounds of toppings.

What a wonderful system for meal planning! Thank you so much for sharing!
I love making homemade dough and pizzas we make ours as personal pizzas so we can put what we want on our pizzas
That’s a fun idea!
The quilt you bought is stunning
Thank you so much Kerry
Love the Tuesday shorts, they help me make it to Fridays full length videos. My mon didn't have anything written down but some how always knew every ones appointments and plans. She also knew what was in the pantry and freezer. How she did it Ill never know. I have to have it written down, so I use a monthly calendar. I am jealous of your new quilt, it is exactly what I have been looking for. Enjoy
Yes! We are very blessed to have found that quilt
Yes, all those ideas are wonderful!
I use Notebook and calendar and a daily and weekly list. Meal plan x 14 days. My entire budget for a month is one a single page . Ever category from Church to hair cut. Planned 😊
Cheryl, you are super organized good for you
Can't believe I'm on time haha! This is awesome!
That memorial is so beautiful!
What a wonderful compliment! Thank you so very much for the kind words
Wonderful, informative, and all-around lovely comment! Thank you!
You make me happy every time I hear you talk. Thank you for being so joyful! And thank you for all your wonderful ideas and suggestions! ❤
You are so welcome!
Love the library so any books
I needed a new duvet cover and found new one at home still in the box. Feel like I have saved money.
I’ve gone back to keeping paper records because lately technology has become unreliable. So your tip is great.
Yes, I feel better with paper records as well
We have a large desk calendar at our computer area which is near our house phone.
Wow! Love that system
They look so yummy as well.😊
I actually did a video on my roasted pepper recipe. I am not home, but when we get back to New York, I will share it again.
@@FrugalMoneySaver that would be wonderful Emmy. I have so many peppers I need to use from the garden.☺️☺️☺️
Once again Emmy and Paul great video and yummo on that pizza.
Have a great weekend. Those hot days have left for the weekend. Yeah@
Thank you! You too!
The new tractor supply store is in Somers New York
I use my calendar on my phone to plug birthdays and appointments in. I use a spiral notebook for everything that I need to do daily. I even add the recipes that I am going to make so that I don't have to pull out a cookbook and find it or fight keeping a book open or looking up the video. I can also go. back and use that as reference later on. I include canning times and things like that if I am canning something. I then use another spiral to jot down all prayer requests, dreams, bible study notes and things of this nature, so that I can keep track of that as well.
Wonderful system!
Yvonne, thank you again for always leaving such encouraging positive comments. It is such a blessing.
A very large old fashioned calendar on my fridge keeps me organized. I organize appts., bill payments, lawn treatments......... basically everything. I like to save the calendars and refer back to them just to see how much my costs increase and it can also be (sorta kinda) like a bit of a personal journal.
Yep, the fridge is command central.
Yes, we have the big calendar on the refrigerator too. Lol.
Yay! Love Tractor Supply. I buy my pet food and dog treats there. They have some beautiful home decor as well.
Yes! What a great store!
Wonderful ways to stay organized
I use a calendar in the kitchen for our big family. I use a day timer for myself. I am a home schooling mom, so I have to be organized. Thanks for the lovely video!
Leslie, love that! Thank you!
🌷I love your old quilt. Would love to have it💕
We stay organized by using our phones.
Sounds perfect!
Love a good sticky note lol
I just have a regular routine I stick too, if I need to do something out of the usual I just do it when it fits in to my week. I have good habits from my Mom, which is a Blessing. Love your and Paula video's! Thank you!
Thanks for sharing!
I use my phone calendar for appointments and have it set to remind me a day ahead and also at least an hour before the appointment. This works really well for me since I live alone and don’t have a lot going on.
Yes, I love that hourly reminder
Thank you Emmy and Paul for reminding us to never forget!
On a lighter note, being from Western North Carolina, I take Goo Goo clusters for granted. Sooo good!!
From western NC, too
Oh my gosh, we don’t ever have them up north so I was jumping for joy lol. I told Paul I want one in my stocking at Christmas lol.
I grew up in sleepy Hollow moved to the capital district. I just absolutely love your videos, and you have the best ny accent ❤ the New York State Museum is also free and it has a beautiful tribute to 911
Oh Sleepy Hollow is not far from us at all! Beautiful town!
Thank you so much for the kind words
Oh my goodness, Paul's reaction was priceless. So cute! When one of my family members raves about something I cook, it warms my heart and makes all the extra effort worth it. ❤❤ We are having pizza tonight for dinner. ;) I am personally gluten free, but I like to use up gf buns/rolls as pizza crust stand ins. It has worked out very well and I, too, get to enjoy a delicious pizza option.
Love that! Yes, it’s always wonderful when you create something yummy!
Yes! You will see the new bedding at the little house on September 22 video
I wanna go to your church rummage sale😁
They have beautiful things there!
Yes! We have a great group of people here!
That was such a sad and dark day for our country……😥
The quilt and shams you found at the church sale were gorgeous. Oh my goodness, you guys find the neatest things!
QUESTION: why is your pronunciation of “mozzarella” so different from anything I’ve ever heard? Very curious…😊
❤️-Brenda
Brenda, I am of Italian descent, and that is just the way we have always said it. That is how my grandmother from Italy, my mother, the whole family have always pronounced it
I shop at Black Friday Deals near me. Everything is 50 cents each on Wednesday. I found a stack of 8 spiral planners for 50 CENTS. I use them for notebooks, when I have garage sales, inventory, or home info, such as when I bought something and the warranty info. Also, the size of rooms, windows, etc. Some of these have a budget planner in the back. Great for keeping all info in one place.
Oh, what a wonderful bargain
Keep doing what you are doing! ❤…Gary and Deb Gnagey
Thank you
I make our pizza exactly like this.! I use frozen bread dough.. another winner! Stay well and safe❤❤🙏
Thank you! You too!
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE your comforter ❤
Thanks so much Patricia!
You guys are just fabulous!!!😀👍
Im not that organized as I should...probably...but I do have a calendar and in it I write everything down. It is relaxing reading the week through befor bedtime and then I know, and can sleep in peace. What is not written there, doesnt exist...simple as that...and I save nerves 🤪
I have an app in my phone where I can write down things I must remember to fill in my calendar when I get home...and last but not least...my notebook...so important to have by the bed...it is in the bed all thoughts are coming, all ideas all must-do's...I write them down...and I can sleep good, knowing I took care of it...
That’s a great idea
What a beautiful Memorial, thank you so much for sharing your visit.
I use a calendar for day to day appointments.
An Excel spreadsheet for finances.
A separate A4 journal for Christmas presents I buy for people.
I have just bought a yearly planner so that all my lists can be kept in one place.
Xx
Sounds great!
I'm embarrassed to say
I'm not organized at all anymore....
I used to own homes
I used to run doctor's offices so I had to be very organized.
Now since we both had medical issues and had to retire and lost our home, I suck at everything lately 😏
I try
I just really fail these day's.
But you encourage me and I will continue trying.
I just need to find me again
I am so glad our videos are encouraging to you.
Loved this video. My planner is my diary, bills, appointments, outings, visitors coming over If it's not in the diary it's not happening 😊
Love that!
That's a great idea Jonna!
Nice Memorial!!!
I use a calendar. We love homemade pizza also!
Great video, the Memorial was pretty amazing. I like the short and long videos as well! Wishing you and Paul blessings☺
Thanks so much!
One calendar for food spending etc, one calendar for dinners and one calendar for birthdays, anniversaries etc
I'm really jealous of your pizza 😂😂I would like to come by for a slice or two!! Roasted peppers are probably my fav pizza topping next to mushrooms 🤤and mozzarella is the best cheese!! This is better than fancy restaurant pizza
So kind! Thank you so much
Hi Emi and Paul- I use google task for my to do list.
Great idea!
Beautiful memorial, I remember that day so clearly, that was a very sad day. We have a Tractor Supply store near us and we love it. I write appointments on my calendar, and write a list of things I want to get done on a piece of notepaper.
So sad…
The best way for me is using a calendar on my counter bar.. Use for all appts and activities plus I add bdays also.
My mom was a list person and I do the same.. I make lists for groceries. To do tasks around house. List what I need to buy on next trip to store.. Things I need to replace such as AC filters or water filters.😂
Love that!
I cross organize- i use the calendar on my phone for appointments and tv shows i want to watch, mainly because i like using the reminder features and alerts. And all my family’s appointments go on the calendar on the fridge so we all know what’s going with each other schedules.
That’s a great way to do it
I loved the visit to the memorial. I use a notebook to organize our finances. I mostly just use my phone for all of our appointments. I really liked the pizza. I think pizza will be my new last minute dinner. As long as I keep crust in the freezer I can use what I have in my fridge for toppings.
That's a great idea!
Thanks for this one, Emmy and Paul! Please share your recipe for spinach dip because it looks great and I haven't found it in your previous posts yet. Thank you!
Coming soon!
