I did many bikefits, all were disasters, what a bunch of wankers those bikefitters, all turned up my sadle way to high causing painfull hamstrings. Untill I met Joep from Pedaalkracht in Nijmegen, he finally managed to get me on my bike properly, what a blessing, cycling is a joy again! Downside, he works part time for Team Jumbo Visma now, so he's pretty occupied for a while... ATB, Sven.
I mostly found that not letting a niggle carry on, getting home, putting the bike in storage and then repeating it next week or next day was my fix, I had a bike fit, then I adjusted myself for perfect comfort over weeks, by adjusting a problem out riding for 20km and adjusting again. its simple, if your not comfortable stop, adjust, ride, so very well worth the effort I completed several 1000Km plus rides and the North Cape 4000 able to ride for 18 hours a day (with coffee stops). what your not doing is sat in the cafe nursing pain and aches all day and not progressing the ride. Give it a go yourself BUT do be methodical in adjusting and Not Lazy.
Very interesting, nice bike fit. I do yoga several times a week to keep flexible, especially the hamstrings, back, and hips. I also stretch my legs full length (almost) when pedaling to keep flexible. I solved hand soreness on my flat bar bike with the Marin Bearpaw Wing Grips. They are ergonomic and provide a ledge to rest the hands on for long rides-on flat bar bikes (the Marin are also lighter than the WTB or Ergon).
hello buzzalong girl, in addition to a great preparation for your bike, you give a great preparation to your body, you are an inspiration, thanks for your advice!! It is important to put yourself in the hands of professionals to have your body ready and avoid injuries as much as possible, thank you for teaching us the importance of a good preparation, go ahead with that great love you profess for this beautiful sport, congratulations buzzalong girl. as always looking forward to your new video 🤗
I'm interested if you note how those items were changed instead of just mentioning what was changed. I sit similar to you and also seem to often be holding my bars before the hoods instead of on the hoods. I also get numb hands so nearly identical
Dear BuzzAlong, what yould you say that changed between your first video in this matter (FEB2022) and this video ? In other words why did you felt the need for another bike fit ? Im going to do one myself in January and i'm just trying to maximise the experience. Keep up the good work and thanks in advance.
Thank you, because i got a new bike Iwent from a Cervelo Aspero gravel bike to a Fara All Road bike so the position changed, I wanted to adjust for the new reach and frame size
very important input..I'm curios what aerobar setup are you using? I also have the problem that my aerobars are too wide upfront and do not support the elbows. I'm searching for some with separetely adjustable cushion.
So there should be a second session comming in about 4 to 8 weeks for checking long term results and making (fine, final) adjustments. Interesting Videos regard bike fitting can be found here ruclips.net/video/ZUWDzmhFXZU/видео.html

Let's have a 300km later retrospective on this.
More like 5000km. She's currently competing in the transcontinental race 😅. Leading the partners race.
thank you :)
@buzzalong.cycling it would be great to get a follow up video!
@@Miles_on_bikes yes, will be live soon :)

I think is quite individual bike fit, also depends on your muscle imbalances and tension
nice bike fitting 👌
thank you :)
interesting stuff .... be interested to see how this works for you on the TCR you currently racing.
yes I saw .... first woman over the line - massive congratulations to her and her riding partner. One hell of an achievement.@@SanDiegoSpiderman
worked really well :)
The tribar handlebar combo looks great, where I can find them?
Thank you, the handle bar is from Fara Cycling and the aerobars are the Deda Jet One
Is that a Knogg scout on the bike? That’s a good place to put it?
Yes, best bike alarm, one of the most useful gadgets

Thank you, i have the DEDA Jet aerobars, but i now have a custom 3d printed plate to adjust the angle and space them out further away

Will do :) thanks for the suggestion
Bike fit conscious.. 5k riding .. subconscious
thank you :) worked really well
Didn't know Ana De Armas is a cyclist 😅
thank you :)
Front tire is backwards 😜
^^
Your frame is too big! I'm 173cm with an inseam of 80cm, I ride a 49cm top tube and 165mm cranks an 100mm Stem and a 40cm Handelbar
works for me :)
My thoughts exactly. Reach is too long. Default hand position on hoods should be much further than in the video.

Is in my bucket list ;)
