Can I ask how old are you? Does anyone say you have not ages? Do you do a calorie restrictive diet at least one meal a week? These are the halmarks of not aging vs the rest of the population
@@LK-pc4sq I will soon be 61, but it's been a while since anyone mentioned me not looking my age. Riding 20k miles is a huge accomplishment. I'm only averaging between 3-4k a year. But I have to wonder. How the heck does she getting funds to do this? Also, I like her 1x40t setup. I'm wondering if I should do this with my road bike and not have to worry about the FD anymore.
There is no entry fee for the Tour Divide. So, you really just have to get to the starting line with whatever bike you've got. Win that, and you get sponsorships. Then, you get to travel to other races sponsored.
Wow, that is very light, she carries almost no gear at all, and just a single multitool for all the bike problems she might encounter? I'd like to know more about how she manages the technical side of things.
If your bike is in good shape before you go on a long adventure, you will rarely have any other problems. You should know how to fix anything on a bike before you attempt to do longer rides.
PFULMTL, what you say makes sense. The minimum I know is how to patch a flat tire, which requires a patch and some levers. I didn't see that in her kit, which is what surprised me.
