Foreal i have done that with some people that we knew each other for years. Since we were in middle school and at the end they did some shady stuff. Best way to stop all that nonsense is just leave and let them be who they want to be. At the end they kept trying to come back and tried to keep going like nothing happened. Not even saying sorry or talking about it so we can be cool again. All they did was trynna act like nothing happened and that is exactly what i did and moved on. Aint not way to keep a friendship going when i gave them meny chances. All they did was keep doing the same dirty stuff. At the end i just had to walk away and forget about it since they wanted to act the same. Aint no way to change people who dont help themselves and want to keep on using people for their own benefits.

In high school during the period to change classes I was slapped in the hallway by a close friend in front of hundreds of other students I will never forget that day and I'm now 50. It was like time stood still. I was so humiliated and just walked off. Because I was never the fighting type. All because she assumed that I knew her boyfriend was liking another friend of ours. I had no idea. However, I forgave her. She passed away about 7 yrs ago. Our friendship was never the same and we use to hang together every day but that incident changed everything. The assault on Chris brought back that humiliating day like it was yesterday. Unfortunately I'm sorry doesn't help. To be honest I'm not sure if anything will. You never respect that person again but you love and forgive esp as Followers of Christ Jesus. But The Father does not require us to endure more hurt and shame.

In high school during the period to change classes I was slapped in the hallway by a close friend in front of hundreds of other students I will never forget that day and I'm now 50. It was like time stood still. I was so humiliated and just walked off. Because I was never the fighting type. All because she assumed that I knew her boyfriend was liking another friend of ours. I had no idea. However, I forgave her. She passed away about 7 yrs ago. Our friendship was never the same and we use to hang together every day but that incident changed everything. The assault on Chris brought back that humiliating day like it was yesterday. Unfortunately I'm sorry doesn't help. To be honest I'm not sure if anything will. You never respect that person again but you love and forgive esp as Followers of Christ Jesus. But The Father does not require us to endure more hurt and shame.

Marlon spoke on this on something else and he said something of the fact that whites can be mad at each other and then get back to taking care of business. We blacks have this thing called PRIDE that keeps us from reconciling. Looking at the comments we will never get anywhere if we can’t learn to reconcile. Keep letting that pride get in the way and you will always be in last place. Everyone has a bad day and does something they are not proud of, it happens to the best of us. We have to learn when to forgive and let go. So yeah, he got his lick back, now it’s time to go to the principal’s office!!!
