Try using dielectric grease instead of baby powder when threading wires through the bars and controls. It’ll also help prevent any shorts in the future.

Mr. Blockhead please help. I have a new FXLR with the black tank with red and blue stripes. My need is handlebars. Should I go with black risers and black bars or chrome combo? I’m probably not going to spend money on blacking it out, but will not being adding any chrome parts either. Also, I’m probably going with 6.5 risers and 3.25 rise moto style bars. What’s your thoughts. Thanks and love the great videos.

While at it should have relocated the turn signals to the forks. Looks good though. I did my bars a while back. Had to change out more than I thought, brake lines, clutch cable..... Didn't have to do Throttle cables, but have some to change out sometime so I can tuck them up tighter.
@ JF Kansas - the headlight would over take the signals when being used . . . is not safe doing so. signal lights have to be visible and distinguishable at night . best way to stay safe and seen .
They are lower than the headlight and are plenty visible. It is a common mod that HD has a kit for. If you ever install a full batwing fairing the signal lights have to be moved.
Don't get rid of the badges, I've spent a lot of money ordering some HD 'medallions' to go on my 2020 FXLRS as I love the look so much. Then again, if you ARE going to bin them, just send them to me!
I just can not force myself to buy a Harley. I love the most cutting edge tech, which Harley does not offer. I own a Super Duke GT with Electronic suspension, TFT dash, horsepower and torque(bike is lighter so less torque needed vs Harley), stability control, etc. ready to go from the factory. I also own a MV Agusta Dragster 800 rr, ready to go from the factory. I enjoy watching your videos though.

they have to go by the least maximum amount of height for it to be legal, because of other state's laws regarding height issues for handle bars.
