I literally started yelling "NO PRINGUS DON'T DO IT" and then when the DA logo popped up, I knew exactly where this was going. Absolute perfection.
To be fair, a 'Pink Mushroom' was trending for a while. It turned male characters female and powered up female characters in...other ways... ~_^
Believe me, the number of power-ups and other items that fans have created could fill dozens, if not thousands of Mario(-esque) games.

10 years ago, when this thing was introduced, AFAIK many members of its community said "change it back NAO! NEW logo BAD!" (same case with many rebrands), unaware that this logo would be representative of DeviantArt and (again) what it represents to most people.

It’s official. We got a repeat of the Crown Incedent.
The animated Daisy voice acting clips already made me appreciate Daisy a lot more.
What she did here made that appreciation grow exponentially.
