Considering how Alan Becker depicts the digital realm as having a Wreck-It Ralph thing, Second Coming messing up SMB1 Mario's stroll was probably accurate in a sense.
I love that idea too, Felt it was a bit weird in the Pokémon official short, but since I don’t really know the main protagonist, I guess it could happen. But Mario’s Carradine station here was really good!
I can’t believe you managed to make a sort of like sequel to the one Alan Becker normally made, since it goes in depth into the Mario world since it went through a door and I appreciate that you made this nice work!

finally. i've been hoping that we get an Animation vs. Super Mario Bros. that is actually a sprite animation, and you've nailed it. this is amazingly coolio, can see alan reacting to this anytime sooner :))
You know, this version of yours for Animation vs Super Mario Bros. is so much more wholesome, because Mario actually behaves as his canon (video-games) version. Nice, friendly, welcoming. Unlike that Mario from Alan Becker that straight out wanted to throw hands with Second Coming just because of a misunderstanding. Also, this version of yours actually explores the idea of the stick gang actually walking in the overworld of Super Mario Bros, instead of mish-mashing the three main games from NES.
