That’s awesome! I have always had great customer service experience at LV. One time the leather coating of both the handles of my speedy damier ebene was peeling off. I brought it to LV to be replaced and they said it will cost me over $500. With much disdain I said yes. But When I picked up my speedy after a couple of weeks, they said they won’t charge me for it! I was stunned but happy. They have also given me store credit for a card holder where the glazing and a bit of stitching came off. Oh and By the way, I have that same exact bag and it was perfect! . Love the versatility and esthetics of the Buci bag.

Glad to hear of your experience. I guess I would have expected them to replace the buckle part free of charge. I am not shocked by your experience and it is definitely nice to hear. They charge an extremely high price for their products and so they are making the right decision to keep their customers happy for a small price. I doubt they are losing any money due to the replacement as their margins are high. I have the same exact bag and bought it in Japan recently for significantly more than your original purchase price, but it was a different location and a different time, so no real complaints on that. Happy to hear you now have a new bag. Maybe the back seat of the car may not be the best or have a bag in the car for your expensive purses and place them inside. I may do that from now on because I often will put my bag on back seat or hang from back of one of front seats.

It really is a big difference - I bought this bag awhile ago not recently where the euro and usd conversion was more favorable. The savings came from the bag being priced lower in France in addition the VAT refund. Oh i see. It made sense. Also, just putting it out there. This is such an underrated bag where people hasn’t take notice with yet. I got mine out of the blue but I already saw this bag online but I wasn’t impressed with it because the design is too common (sologne, diane had the same design as buci) and I guess photos doesn’t do its justice. Was just browsing LV website if there are any bags that I want to buy and if alma bb in damier ebene is available in store here in New Zealand as back then I want to buy this bag because it’s a classic LV bag. However, when I went to the LV store physically and asked one of the SAs if they have the Buci available in store on which they did. Oh boy! It was love at first sight (😅)! I am 50/50 if I should buy the alma bb. But when I wore it side by side, I am gravitating towards more in Buci and ended up purchasing it. There is something about with buci that made it unique ie the colour, look, timeless, not common since I haven’t see someone with this bag, and classy in a simple way. BUT, I bought this bag because of its durability, the material and good value for the price since it’s in leather material and the strap is adjustable. Was amazed that Buci is in the cheaper side compared to their other leather bags pieces so I ended up buying it (of course my SA convinced me). Now, I love the bag and I am so glad that I bought it 💜.

It’s so durable and definitely a classic silhouette. I know the Diane gets a lot of attention but IMO the Buci is way better long term (I feel like the vachetta on the Diane won’t wear well over time and won’t patina evenly). LOL That wasn't customer service. They broke your bag. They are at fault. Other consumers have complained about the quality of newly purchased items from LV past the return window, only to be blamed by LV of their mishandling and misuse of the item. Your situation is different.

Yes I recently discovered that the piping on my reverse Pochette Métis turned sticky n they replaced me with a new piece. LV honours their products.
