I actually got (from another company) clear stamps accidentally thinking they were stickers. I loved the designs so I wasn't disappointed. But being new to the planner decoration game, I had zero clue how to use them. I simply Googled and your video popped up. Yay! 1. Your video was super helpful. Thanks for making it. 2. Your voice is super cute and cheery! Yayyy for that. 3. So pumped to know another company to keep up to date with. Subscribing and hoping to see more. xoxo, Jess
Hi Kelly, I am new at paper crafting, and I am loving it. This video on clear stamps was so helpful as I had no clue of clear stamps or acrylic blocks. Please keep making these introduction videos to help us beginners in paper crafting. Thanks so much for being so clear and easy to follow.
I love ALL your stamp sets, Kelly! When I was on vacation this October, I saw your stamp sets on sale in a craft warehouse in Oregon and at a terrific price. I had to buy EVERY set! I used my souvenir allowance for them and carried them through the airport scan with my eyes on them every second. I must say that they are my prized possession in my craft room.
I have used a binder with CD sleeves for years. It works really well and keeps them all organized and in one place! Many of our team members use the container method you are using now. I think both work well. It is definitely worth trying the binder method! :)
Hi Kelly, I always looking forward to your video's. I like your video's so much. Every single card idea's are just amazing and mind blowing. But i want to say this as wel that I like your voice very much. It makes me listen and watch your cards. Love from Holland
Lawn Fawn has become my #1 ALL-TIME FAVORITE stamp company!!! It's my goal to have every, single stamp set (and fun papers and hemp cord, of course) in my collection :-) I always enjoy your blog, and look forward to all of your videos! I wish you continued success...you are so deserving! Happy Thanksgiving!!!
Thank you so much for your kind words, Maureen! You can apply it to either side, but I prefer applying the stamp to the side with the grid marking as it allows me to line up my stamps easily if needed!
Thanks for such a thorough explanation. I keep seeing these in the store and didn't really know what to do with them. After your video they are just what I was looking for. Thank you so much!!
Super helpful!! I bought a lot of see through stamps on sale but never knew about the stamp bloxk !! I was so worried how I was gonna do this. Espexially with some of the tiny stamps!! Thank you!!
I have purchased these plastic images before not realizing that I wasn't going to be able to use them as is. There were no simple instructions or anything. It wasn't until o decided to google the product I learned how to use them. It would be more effective if the product could be packaged with everything it needs or at least some instructions the first set I had to return back to the store I couldn't do anything with them. I'm sure that I am not alone in this experience I'm seeing the comment below come on your going to have to do much better then this. You know what they are and what they do. Your customers has no idea and it's annoying bringing the product home and having no idea as it relates to the first step. I'm glad to know and looking forward to using the stamps. Thank you
Thank you for your reply. Since I am new at paper crafting mainly trying to make cards, and would like to spread out to other paper creations. I would like a how to on: the different stamping techniques i.e ink, stamps embossing, what are die cuts & die cutting machines? What is chipboard?, What tools should a beginner have and what should I graduate to as I become more experienced? And anything else you think would be helpful. I would really appreciate it. I love all of your videos.
Thank you so much! We have two types of ink. Our Jet Black Ink is perfect if you will be coloring with alcohol markers. For everything else our Black Licorice Ink is just right :) www.lawnfawn.com/search?type=product&q=black+ink+pad
I just bought your clear acrylic blocks and want to know if I should be applying the stamp to the side with the grid marking or the side without? Thanks! Love all your products and hoe to own every one of them someday!
Any type of wipe should work, but I would look for one without lotion in it so your stamps don't get oily. I used the Kirkland brand from Costco. I hope that helps! :)
It depends on what type of ink you use. For example, chalk ink stains stamps. The good thing is they work well no matter what staining might have occurred. It just means your stamps are well loved :)
Yes, color box chalk ink does stain, but it is a beautiful ink! Most dye inks won't stain very much, especially if you clean the stamps right away. The staining definitely does not affect the performance of the stamp :)
Just to clarify, the chalk ink will stain no matter what because of the properties of that ink, but some dye inks wont, especially if you clean them off right after. I hope that helps! Let me know if you have other questions! Have a great day!
I went to the website and was disappointed not to find cancer ribbon stamps in my search. Other than that 5 🌟 for great stamps and informative video. 🙂
Hi there KellyMarie. How do u recomend storing LawnFawn. I now own 26 full size stamp sets and numerous mid to small sets. I keep them in their packaging in a rubbermade container. Not happy with it. Have thought about notebook. How do u store your stamps for easy access? Thanks Annie
Great ideas! We have wanted to do a beginner series for a long time. Hopefully we can work on it soon! In the mean time, feel free to ask us any questions, if you ever have them! info@lawnfawn.com
i use the color box chalk is that why is greenish after being used? would you recommend to use another ink? i don't like how the stains looks on my stamps.
Hi Izzy, that could work in a pinch but a CD case being flexible could produce an uneven stamped image. Better to use an acrylic block or stamping tool/platform. Thanks so much :)
I cant find a clean ink pad for me T.T because when i stick my stamp on the ink pad it gets all super wet. I tried buying different kinds but its still the same T.T can u suggest some nice ink pad?

Hi Kelly, just curious and kind of disappointed but I bought 2 sets and the ink "beads" up like one of the comments below. My understanding is that this shouldn't be so. I tried on tuxedo black (new & re-inked), Luxe and Hero Arts black and straight from the plastic film it comes on (both are new) using acrylic block n the Misti. Any solution to this other than the following (as suggested by some RUclipsrs) : 1) use an eraser to rub on the surface to be inked or 2) file it? (Really don't want to do so). Thks in advance! :)
I have a few questions : do they sell these in Canada & where can I find them, and how much do they cost. another question is do you need clear blocks for the stamps to adhere to the surface? thanks

Hi there can you please tell me the best and right ink pads that will not destroy. The stamps I want them to be good and like brand new for years to come. And etc. thanks
Some of my new stamps are yellow compared to others. Are they okay to use? How do you remedy the discoloured stamp set, they've not been used, or opened?

I found a "stampin' scrub" (thrift store, again!) that I've used to clean up some stamps that others used, but didn't clean them up.I love it! It's like a big stamping pad, shapewise, but when you open it up, each side has a kind of velvety surface. You put a wee bit of water on one side, and leave the other side dry. Then, take the dirty stamp and gently "scrub" it on the wet side until it's clean. Then, dry it on the dry side of the pad. It dries almost immediately, but I leave the stamps out for an hour or so, before putting them away, to make sure they are completely dry.
Hi! Makeup wipes could contain oils that would leave residue on the stamp. This could make it difficult to get a good stamp impression. We have a great new stamp cleaning cloth that is reusable, leaves no residue and is good for the environment. Here's a link to check it out: www.lawnfawn.com/products/stamp-shammy

You can find them here: www.lawnfawn.com/search?type=product&q=alcohol+marker+ink Thanks so much :)
Why is that my stamp got bubbles on it? It doesnt turned out full black, there are some white pigment every time i put an ink in the stamp. How do i fix it? Thank you
Have you "conditioned" them? They might have a layer of oil/grease to protect them and you need to clean/remove it otherwise you'd get blotchy/bubbly impressions

Hi! Video is so helpful! I haw a question - can I use clear stamps in a decoupage technik? A use an acrylic paint. Thanks a lot
I actually cut the stamps apart alongwith their plastic backs intact. After watching video I realised they could be removed like stickers.
So happy we could help! Thanks so much! :)
I did the same! What a numpty.
Do u have any videos on how to use double stamp scrubber without ultra clean and staz on
I went to the website and was disappointed not to find cancer ribbon stamps in my search.
Other than that 5 🌟 for great stamps and informative video. 🙂
Thankyou! Now I realize I need to buy an acrylic block so I can use the ones I have as I am new to this!

They are adorable! I want them all!!!!! Great tutorial!!!
Thank you for the helpful video, your stamps are gorgeous!
Hi Danielle! They are called "acrylic blocks", and that is what you mount the stamps to. I hope that helps!
Any type of ink pad will work, but I personally love Memento ink! You can find them at any craft store!
Was just wondering how to use them ur video helped me alot
Yay, I'm so happy you found this video helpful! Thanks so much :)

This was so helpful thank you!:)
Will these work on fabric? Thank you.
Can I use it on wax or candle because I really love the design it's really unique I wanna try in on my letters.
Here is a link to an older video showing a technique for adding stamped images to wax candles. ruclips.net/video/mInBj8-2Hcw/видео.html
I've read you can also use a cd case- and I've done it before I ordered some blocks.
Hi Izzy, that could work in a pinch but a CD case being flexible could produce an uneven stamped image. Better to use an acrylic block or stamping tool/platform. Thanks so much :)
Thanks for this, super useful.
hELp does anyone know how to make these? or do you have any idea where can I have a customize stamp like this one?
Wow - This was so helpful - Thank you!!
I cant find a clean ink pad for me T.T because when i stick my stamp on the ink pad it gets all super wet. I tried buying different kinds but its still the same T.T can u suggest some nice ink pad?

Great lesson. Thanks!
Clear stamps! What a great idea :)
Thanks for the really clear video! :)
hey kelly im new at making cards and i bought a set of clear stamps from micheals and i didn't really hear you when you said you need to put the clear stamps on that clear thing? what is that called so i can buy it! xxoxoox crafteers
what kind of markers are you usinb to color your stamps on the other videos???
+Kristina Salapong They are called Copic markers. They are awesome!
Thank you Kelly.
Hello Cally. Great Dtamps😊
Can this be used on fondant for cakes...ofcourse minus the ink. They look exactly like the ones for cakes.
I have heard that you can use them with edible ink to stamp on cookies and cakes. :)
Hi! I was wondering if there was any alternative to acrylic blocks.
Hello, many crafters use stamping platforms like the MISTI. We carry the regular size and the mini size at our shop: www.lawnfawn.com/search?type=product&q=misti Thank you :)
Thanks for the info!
+kit kat That is really strange! The ink should stamp perfectly. Please write us at fawnies@lawnfawn.com so we can replace the sets! :)
+lawnfawn noted and thks!
Where i can get/buy this small box with black dye? Pls for a quick response.
Hello, here's a link to our Jet Black Ink: www.lawnfawn.com/products/jet-black-ink-pad Thanks so much :)
Thanks for the tips, Annie! :) :)
can i buy the clear block from you guys too?
I have a few questions : do they sell these in Canada & where can I find them, and how much do they cost. another question is do you need clear blocks for the stamps to adhere to the surface? thanks
Hi Giselle, yes you will need clear blocks and we have a variety of sizes. And yes there are quite a few stores in Canada that sell our products! Here's a link to our store locator to find one in your area: www.lawnfawn.com/pages/store-locator Thanks so much!
Do I really need to use acrylic blocks for the stamps to stick? Would glass work just the same?
Hi, acrylic blocks are made for stamping and are the best choice. They are more sturdy than glass and also they won't break and possibly cause injury. Thanks for the question. :)
What ink is best to use?
i want to buy that stamps where i can buy that . i like this very much
When I stamp, instead of the ink going on evenly, it uses leaves blobs or sometimes doesn't go on at all. What's happening?
Hi, what is the size of the arcylic block? And which size would you recommend for a beginner?
Hello! Here's the link to the page with our acrylic blocks here: www.lawnfawn.com/search?type=product&q=block I would suggest starting with the 3 sizes of round blocks and a longer block for sentiments. Hope this helps you! Thanks so much :)
Do you have to use stamp blocks for those clear stamps? Or can you just use any block
Using clear acrylic blocks allows you to stamp precisely because you can see through them and they are made so the stamp will stick to it without adhesive. You can also use a stamping tool like a Misti or stamp platform. :)
lawnfawn Oh okay! Thanks for replying!😁
Thank u very beautiful explanation
Any other option for block

Whatdo you do when you cant get the stamp off the sheet?
That's a good craft desk mess to have! :) Sending hugs!
What is the mould uses for that is a glass or anything
Hi there can you please tell me the best and right ink pads that will not destroy. The stamps I want them to be good and like brand new for years to come. And etc. thanks
+divabarrie08 You should try our inks www.lawnfawn.com/collections/ink-pads They don't stain, and we have great colors! I hope you like them!
Ahhhhh lightly tap the stamp. I was squishing hard and not having good results..thanks 😊❤
So happy the video was a help to you :) thank you so much!
Some of my new stamps are yellow compared to others. Are they okay to use?
How do you remedy the discoloured stamp set, they've not been used, or opened?
I am so sorry that some of your stamps have yellowed! The yellowing does not affect the performance of the stamp at all, but if it bothers you, we would be happy to replace it! Just email us at info@lawnfawn.com Have an awesome day!
Would a makeup wipe work for cleaning stamps? I don't have any baby wipes, but because I do have a surplus of makeup wipes
+lawnfawn hi I am a kid from India . I want to buy your products . Please let me know if you courier in India .

Can I use clear stamp ink pads for regular rubber stamps ?
Yes! The ink pads are the same for clear stamps and for rubber stamps. We hope that helps! :)
Great video! Thank you 💜
Can you just use any ink pads for clear stamps?
Yes, clear stamps work with any dye ink, pigment ink and hybrid inks. If you want to color with alcohol markers you will want to stamp with an ink that is formulated not to smear, like our Jet Black, Crunchy Leaf, River Rock and Jellyfish inks. You can find them here: www.lawnfawn.com/search?type=product&q=alcohol+marker+ink
Thanks so much :)
Why is that my stamp got bubbles on it? It doesnt turned out full black, there are some white pigment every time i put an ink in the stamp. How do i fix it? Thank you
Hi Shane, we'd love to help with your problem, please send an email to info@lawnfawn.com. Thanks so much :)
Have you "conditioned" them? They might have a layer of oil/grease to protect them and you need to clean/remove it otherwise you'd get blotchy/bubbly impressions
@@onemig00 how do you condition them ?
@@siddhivajarekar32 i use an eraser and rub it on the stamping side to lose the slick, smooth surface.
@@onemig00 thanks a lot i'll give it a try
Do you sell fuse tool also?
Can you please tell me a link to buy lawn fawn stamps...I am from India!

Hi! Thanks a lot for helping and I also asked that my stamps are dirty, what should I do?
Once again thanks a lot! And I always love your crafty ideas!😊😊
