Yo tampoco soy amante de los barnices porque pocos hay que reaccionen bien con la arcilla, pero esos de Cernit tienen muy buena pinta. Será cuestión de tenerlos a mano para recurrir a ellos cuando no nos apetezca lijar y pulir. Besos Ana 😘

Gracias por tus vídeos, son todos muy interesantes. Tengo un colgante que me interesaría que fuese resistente al uso, y viendo tu vídeo del barniz, tengo unas dudas tremendas: ¿hace realmente más resistente la pieza a barnizar o más bien no aporta más dureza? Con el tiempo ¿se vuelve pegajosa la pieza barnizada? ¿hay un máximo de recocidas de la pieza barnizada (me ha pasado cuando he tenido que lijarla porque ha aparecido una mancha, y ya estaba barnizada... y volver a cocer y barnizar). Gracias por tu atención.
Fascinating! Loved this video, such good information. So glad you did the recaps too, very helpful 🤗 I tried Cernit matte varnish and thought it was OK but not amazing,. However, I didn't bake it after drying. I must not have read the oinstructipns properly 😩 I'll try again but will do it right this time 😀

Ana I have used the Cernit gloss varnish for about 2-3 years now and love it. It is so easy to apply the thin coats, dry and bake! Done beautifully! ❤️❤️❤️👌👌👌👍👍👍🌟🌟🌟

En ce qui concerne le vernis, il s'agit des spécifications techniques de ce vernis. Il est nécessaire de le faire pour qu'il acquière toute sa dureté et sa résistance. :*
Hola, Ana! Un maravilloso video, gracias! Yo barnizo con el Cernit mate - solo una capa fina y horneo 30-40 min a 140C. Es para proteger la pintura acrílica aplicada con silkscreen.
Me funciona bien.

Tres capas es lo ideal para asegurarse que todo está cubierto, pero en realidad todo dependerá del grosor de las capas.

Je ne ponce jamais entre les couches,parce que j’ai déjà été obligée de le faire pour rattraper une mauvaise application,et j’ai remarqué que ça ne change rien. Par contre moi j’ai un flacon noir, c’est du mat et je le trouve trop brillant,c’est peut-être une erreur ? J’adore tes échantillons ! Bonne journée et merci pour tes expériences !

Cependant, j'ai remarqué que tant que tu ne l'as pas cuit, le vernis mat a l'air un peu brillant. C'est peut-être ça... ou une erreur ;)

Bonjour Ana, merci pour vos merveilleuses vidéos ! Après avoir visionné cette instructive vidéo sur le vernis Cernit, j'ai acheté un flacon et je viens de vernir 2 pièces plates. Sur la première, le vernis accroche bien et j'ai eu l'agréable surprise de voir disparaître les traces de pinceau. Sur la seconde, qui comporte un motif avec du mica, le vernis accroche très bien sur le mica mais pas sur les parties noires de ma couleur de fond. Je n'ai pourtant rien ajouté à ma pâte, et je n'ai pas non plus ciré la pièce. Avez-vous une idée de la raison pour laquelle le vernis "glisse" sur la pièce ? Comme j'ai utilisé un stencil en plastique, les parties noires sont très lisses, j'ai pensé que ça venait de là mais j'ai refait un test sur une pièce que j'avais lustrée, et le vernis a très bien accroché. Mystère !

Oui, c'est un peu un mystère. Mais il me vient à l'esprit que cela pourrait être un problème de graisse sur la pièce (bien que ce qui t'arrive soit très spécifique). J'essaierais de nettoyer la pièce avec de l'alcolor avant de la vernir.

When sanding between coats of varnish, is it possible that the coat was removed completely by sanding?
Thank you for your question. Indeed, when you sand after varnishing you run the risk of removing the varnish layer. That's why you should sand very lightly to remove only the irregularities left by the brush. I hope I have helped you. 😘

Hola Anna, I have some questions for you hopefully you can help me :)
1- how do I get a smooth varnish without brush marks?
2-if i varnish the top of a piece, it flows to the bottom too, how can i prevent that?
3- I tried the sanding technique after buffing but the varnish disappears completely, is that correct or am I doing it wrong?
I wish you make a tutorial how to buff correctly for beginners, I'm facing some problems with that too

Let me see if I can answer your questions :)
1.- Normally to avoid brush marks it is important that the brush is very soft. Hard brushes will always leave marks.
2.- To avoid it flowing downwards it's best to apply very thin layers.
3.- In order not to remove all the layer you should sand very softly, only with a very fine grain sandpaper and without pressing very hard. This process also helps to remove the marks left by the thick brushes.

Actualmente me encuentro buscando el barniz perfecto, he probado sculpey, poliuretano varathane, resina epoxi y uv, pero me he quedado con el varathane, aun así el alcohol lo opaca, cosa que en una joya de arcilla polimerica quedaria feo, por ejemplo al rosearae perfume, por eso me
Interesa saber cual es el mejor barniz que tenga la mejor resistencia a los rayones y dure en el tiempo sin amarillear
Ostras, tu pregunta es de las difíciles. Creo que no te puedo responder a esa pregunta al cien por cien :( Yo te diría que la resistencia alos rayones del de Cernit es muy buena. Pero siempre pasa por hornearlo. En cuanto a amarillear... pues ya sabes que con el tiempo les va a apasar a todos

Gentilissima Ana, complimenti per il canale! vorrei chiederle come fare a pulire con alcool isopropilico un pezzo cotto e decorato con colore acrilico... credo che se lo stofino per togliere eventuale grasso sulla superficie, il dipinto si "peli"... mi chiedo se non sia meglio stendere le tre mani di finitura prima della cottura (non appena il colore acrilico si asciuga) e poi procedere alla cottura.... ma resisterà ad una cottura di 30 minuti la vernice di finitura? Se un pezzo deve essere cotto più volte anche la vernice di finitura può sopportare più di una cottura? La ringrazio per la pazienza. Cordialità. :Daniela

Acabo de terminar mi primer bebe de arcilla polimerica ...despues de maquillarlo un poquito le he dado barniz brillante aggg no me gusta con el brillo le he lijado un pelin por la espalda y me salia como manchas ...asi q si me puedes decir como le quito el brillo sin lijar? Vaya!!! Lo siento mucho. Lo que se me ocurre es que le des una capa de barniz mate sobre ese barniz. Pero prueba en una zona donde no se vea mucho. Suerte
Una consulta el barniz de Cernit cuánto tiempo dura en una pieza de Arcilla, se descascara con el tiempo ? Por ejemplo si tengo piezas barnizadas y las guardo se me van a descascarar ? Cuál es su tiempo útil?
