Best thing about being a druid is if you make a fun silly gimmick build and the enemy somehow breaks it, now they have to fight a dinosaur or an owlbear and they have no one to blame but themselves.
I can see having a character to cast Heroes Feast (11th lvl cleric or druid) which confers immunity to poison for your entire party including pets would be nice. Also, undead are immune to poison so Spore Druid or Necromancer would like it. Finally a Tiger Barbarian has a small AOE attack to cause bleeding. Bleeding condition causes a save vs poison (any constitution attribute) at a disadvantage. They can also take wolverine which causes the maimed condition resulting in zero movement!
My first playthrough I built a stink apocalypse build by combining the caustic band and ichorous gloves to plant noxious fumes across the battle field, but I needed a steady supply of arrows of many targets to make it effective so I don’t think I’ll be doing that again
Thanks for the video. Always enjoy your builds. I'm not sure about the value of 2 paladin levels with smite on a character that doesn't get extra attacks. Maybe use a 1 level sorc dip just for Con saving throws, and keep access to level 6 spells? Melee hit chance more to proc sentinel rather than doing high damage. I wonder if infernal rapier can be a better weapon, saves you having to cast shillelaigh every combat. You get +1 save DC and a free cambion. Level 6 spells allows you to cast heroes feast to make whole party immune to cloudkill. Or you can use camp caster for same buff and get a level6 spell slot for myrmidon summon.
i tried this build a last month (without the paladin) and it was decent but always felt lacking. Earliest you can get cloudkill is lvl 9 and natures ward is 10 which is end of act2. But at lvl 11, heros feast gives poison immunity. So its just better to go full bonk and scroll of cloudkill with heros feast or go full caster with heros feast. Such as Rainbow barbarian for bonk or Poison Sorc for caster (which is unexpected amazing). Also Act 3 is in love with poison resist / immunity so just as it comes online it gets nerfed.
A minor quibble, but in several build videos on wisdom based characters you suggest taking a background that gives you perception, but none of the backgrounds in the game give access to perception.
Hmm i wonder of there is a world where you could stick druid throughout.. and use dex gloves.. and dump dex look for 18 wis and 18 con(+resil from 17 start) and 18wis with an asi and sentinal? That way even if you do get hit you can shrug it off and then you can still use the medium + full dex armor for decent AC which you find shortly after the armour you showed.. unsure how it would feel but it wouldnt habe smites to be fair
You cannot get Ethels hair without breaking your oath, unless perhaps you leave the character in camp while fighting Ethel. I am not sure if that would help. If using Jaheira she will be ok as you will already have beaten Ethel.
Smite does not have its own attack roll. You can use a smite any time you hit with a melee weapon no matter what stat you are using to attack with. No charisma needed
Always like your video's. Can you please equip your characters with rings and helmets (or explain why you don't have a helmet) It slightly bugs me. Also on some of your wizard videos I notice you miss some spell lists when you are leveling

Shoutout to whatever the torch in the chest behind Mystic Carrion is called. It's basically a regular torch but it also does a 1d4 necrotic damage

Could also try Hunter 11 ability would that work? If so it’d be a less “meta” flavor of the good ol’ winters clutches snowburst ring ice hunter build.

I saw a Circle of Spores variant of this multiclass spread floating around. Both fun builds but this one has better spell slot economy.

Could you do a tier list/suggestion video for Lore Bard's Magical Secrets? I find I keep re-specing because I'm not sure which choices are best.

Land Druid gets immunity to poisons at level 10! That includes cloudkill and stinking cloud

this game is so complex to me! is there any reason to levelup pal-dru-pal-dru-etc instead of pal-pal-dru-etc?
