You really should have reminded people that the Storm Sorcerer's Tempestuous Magic is triggered by casting any leveled spells, including Ritual spells. Those don't cost spell slots when you are not in turn-based mode, so if you know Longstrider, Enhanced Leap, Disguise Self, Feather Fall, etc then you will be able to fly for free whenever you want when out of combat.
Thanks so much brother. I competed in the past but I tore my pec and had 3 surgeries so I’m having a bit of a longer recovery than I’d like - but someday want to compete in bodybuilding again! Still gym everyday but don’t do the 2+ hour workouts anymore which leads to some more time gaming
I’ve never played a Sorcadin yet, but this as Tav and Storm Sorcerer/Tempest Cleric Shadowheart sounds like a match made in Heaven! Awesome build man! Imma have to try this one out.
Oh yea this would pair well with a storm sorcerer tempest cleric! And if you want to go crazy you can have a draconic sorcerer 11 / wizard 1 as your chain lightning blaster! Paired with someone with the trident of the waves + water elementals to set up vulnerability to lightning damage and its unstoppable
I recommend savage attacker as it gives your weapon damage rolls advantage. This includesany smites or other add ons. Also, something to note is that you get the same amount of spell slots with a 7/5 split as a 6/6 split. And don’t sleep on that paladin aura.
You should do a character creation tutorial too with this build, I definitely like the cosmetic of it on top of the build itself. Adds the style to also being a formidable opponent. It’s a smaller yet satisfying detail in adding to the experience of playing through the game with your teachings.
Hey yeah that’s a great idea! I’ll work on a video about making cosmetic changes to suit builds. I always make a unique looking character for each build guide
looking at this, it reminded me of my lae'zel sithlord build. basically, a 12 eldritch knight, using the ring of elemental infusion and using shocking grasp to infuse her melee weapon. which you could use either jaheira's scimitar or will's infernal blade. the reason to go 12 fighter, is for the feats, and the enhanced extra attack. the build goes something like this: str: 8(or 10) dex: 12(or 10) con: 15+1 int: 14+2 wis: 14 char: 8 for feats it goes int +2(2x to get her to 20 int) alert elemental adept: lightning the idea is to start using shocking grasp, to infuse the melee with lightning, and attack. then use witch bolt. and attack. using shield every once in a while against some of the more dangerous hits. this build isnt the most tanky(even though its a heavy armor with shield), nor the most damaging. but i just love the idea of having her be a spell blade that shocks and strikes with infused attacks. you could swap elemental addept for heavy armor master(but that extra 1 str would be kinda lost), or go with war caster to use shocking grasp as a reaction. but i like the idea of being a purely lightning caster. another idea that goes more into the jedi/sith, is to instead go for spell sniper, and grab thorn whip, to drag enemies close, kinda like a version of force pull. with so many spells that allow her to push enemies away. and hold person which would be similar to force choke(although i feel like witchbolt kinda does the continuous damage aspect better). she would work more as a complementary tank, and having alert to rush first in combat. of course, you could leave her at 8 str, and use a normal weapon, with the str gloves. maybe even use the "permanent flame blade" glitch to give her a solid melee weapon, but in that case, i would go with burning hands, firebolt and adept fire instead. her damage would sky rocket for sure, but i dont really think is needed.
Sorcadin and Lockadins are both great. Two attacks and a bonus action spell as sorcadin, 3 attacks as lockadin. Both are a lot better than 12 levels of Paladin
I wish there were more builds like the EK thrower. These builds are cool, but they have so many things to set up, story choices that have to be made, etc. Nothing will ever beat just clicking throw and winning.
Throw to win is fun but you can honestly beat the game with any class Sorcadin you smite twice and cast lightning bolt as a bonus action, pretty strong
if you want an EK build that is fun, but not really overpowered, i like to run my lae'zel as a pure eldritch knight, with maxed int(even putting 2 attribute into int) and giving her either jaheira's scimitar or the will's infernal blade, and using the ring of elemental infusion, and pick either firebolt, shocking grasp, or ray of frost. and get the elemental adept of that type. its pretty fun, you just use cantrips and attack, so you can hold her spell slots to either special cases like witch bolt, or chromatic orb, or for reaction with shield. with a shield and heavy armor(or you can wield both weapons).
Interesting build!! Is it better to start as a sorcerer or a paladin? Well, if you use the Helldusk armour then you don't really need to start as a paladin, eh? ALSO your tav looks so cool, (pun intended) and I love the colours! Plain blue dye? OH! This might finally be the build that I go reverberation on! Love the weapon, love the vibe of this character. I wonder if their personality is sort of cold, like their damage? Or maybe everyone's intimidated by them and then they turned out to be the sweetest marshmellow you've ever met
You can go either way honestly, Paladin would be more strength and heavy armor focused, but sorcerer gives constitution saving throw proficiency which is underrated by a lot of people. You can only get medium armor so that’s why I went higher dex to cover for that, plus it gives increased initiative. Then you can use weapons like Nyrulna as well!
@@JasonDunna OH!! that actually sounds like a perfect video! What classes go best together? In pairs and in fours! Dude, that's actually awesome, tempest shadowheart is going in my team!
Ooo now there’s an interesting idea! Leave it with me. Might have somewhat of a radiating orb / reverberation twist alongside it to make it a bit stronger
@@Keyroye yeah you could go that route, starting with sorcerer gives constitution saving throw proficiency meaning you’ll hold concentrations better. You can take the 5 levels of Paladin anytime, the big ones being level 2 for divine smite and 5 for extra attack. You’re free to go either way though whatever feels best for your team composition
You do great build videos. I have tried most if them. I have a request. Can you spend more time on stat selection, please? You spend a lot on time on equipment. Can you put some if that time into, say, the pros and cons of making a Strenght higher than Dex? This build would be a great one for that discussuon. Thank you for listening.
Yeah you’re right sometimes I don’t go too in depth on the stat allocation. Higher dex here gives us more armor class as a sorcerer, higher initiative and finesse/dex weapons will get higher damage/attack rolls. Strength would be good if starting paladin but the sorcerer gives constitution saving throw proficiency which is really nice for holding our concentrations
Shouldnt you start as a paladin then later go sorc for more spell slots? If you start sorc its weird to suddenly switch your entire play style to melee

Savage attack is great with smites

the reason to go 12 fighter, is for the feats, and the enhanced extra attack.
the build goes something like this:
str: 8(or 10)
dex: 12(or 10)
con: 15+1
int: 14+2
wis: 14
char: 8
for feats it goes
int +2(2x to get her to 20 int)
alert
elemental adept: lightning
the idea is to start using shocking grasp, to infuse the melee with lightning, and attack. then use witch bolt. and attack. using shield every once in a while against some of the more dangerous hits.

Hahaha it’s the easiest way to show off how the builds work against high armor class targets!
I love the great Saiyaman picture btw

So can divine smite, with the added lightning/thunder damage, trigger the Heart of the Storm (lightning/thunder AOE around character)?
The extra damage doesn’t seem to proc it but thunderous smite and things like that do
which is better, attacking with smite or using basick atk and using smite as a reaction?
Attack with smite!
Does the Phalar Aluve's Shriek ability make the Judge in the Wyrmway run away so you can see which painting to use?
Oh now that’s genius I’ll have to try that out
I finally got around to trying it myself. It works!
Thoughts on Melee Bardlock?
Melee bardlock is really good honestly
sword bard 6 / warlock 6
you should play PF:WotR for way more possible builds.
