Students are technically clients of the university...as a CLIENT you have NO leverage to demand ANYTHING
You do not negotiate with those holding the campus hostage !!!
Just give them a free ride to Gaza.....they can do much more there ....instead of demonstrating in the US.....
A one-way ticket
A couple repub congress people have wrote a bill for the punishment of these protesters supporting Hamas, be sentenced to six months of community service in Gaza. LOL
Why do they need to agree on anything?
Donors should Divest Hopkins ...pull research funding....this should not even be a considered issue by Hopkins ( they have moved to slowly)
These spoiled pampered little brats are only making me support israel. I had no dog in this fight whatsoever, but I am now all 100% behind Israel
You have an encampment with a foreign flag. That is an occupation force, aka invasion or treason
correct, if they find weapons, it truly meets the definition of treason, and is a Federal Capital Crime
What!? Many (not all) of those protesting are not even students, it has been confirmed by all of those arrested in other campuses. People paid a lot of money to attend these universities. they should demand their money back for the university not doing anything about it, for letting non students blocking them from attending classes, also for teachers joining the nonsense, that should be enough for conflict of contract.
They would lose all their endowment if they divested from Israel. Why don’t they just tell the students that? Colleges need to be more transparent about their finances; especially to their students. Like where is there tuition really going? They have to budge somewhere. And I seriously doubt that those students feel unsafe. They go to school in Baltimore. Please. I got chased after drug addict and people who were troubled incessantly while I was there.
You doubt Jews student feel unsafe. And junkies chased you? GIRL PLEASE junkies in Baltimore only chase the next high and unless you were here selling dope or crack NO BODY WAS CHASING YOU.
your on the right track with the endowment issue
When the Admin met with the protestors they should have brought
the financial aid up that every student gets to help defer the cost of
attendance. Them kids get money from a number of endowments and
scholarship funds that create the wealth by investing so they can give
it to the students. They should have tested their conviction on this matter
by telling them to sign off their financial aid package and then they would
consider divestment etc. I'd like to know how many of'em is so convicted
John’s Hopkins was in charge of all the “studies” during CVD
😂😂😂 they gonna get a 4.0 for not being in class 😂😂
Worry about Gaza while living in a city that is more dangerous than Gaza.
Are 15000 kids killed in Baltimore?
@@MRM_241 Hundreds of people per year consistently are shot (including many young people), also other crimes in the city happen at a high rate. I was being sarcastic (miss the point but ok) but outside of this current war on average Baltimore IS probably more dangerous than Gaza.
@@knuke9596 I lived in Baltimore for 3 years, I know how dangerous it is. I understood the sarcasm, I know you didn't literally mean that Baltimore is more dangerous than Gaza during the war, however, I think deflecting from the death of tens of thousands of civilians the majority of which are children is still not ok. Also, protesting against the war can actually help Baltimore. Just imagine if our tax dollar money is invested in under-privileged communities and schools instead of going abroad to kill people.
@@MRM_241 To be fair to the city, it has allocated funds to various programs. Mayor Scott had some job training type programs to help get the squeegee kids off of the streets. A lot of those guys choose to not participate. The city has also given a lot of money to violence interrupting programs like Safe Streets. Sadly there doesn't seem to be much of a return from that program, and a lot of the funds are unaccounted for. It will take more than money to change things here. I also hope what is happening in Gaza will end soon. War is always awful.
it dosn't matter, no one listens to these drones.... blah, blah blabbity blab
Another Hamas University?
Another human University of genuine hearted people?
@@huggiffxrosshatch2830 Hamas cover their faces, Don't let Hamas take over the US!
