The song is a reworking of the superb single "Another Reason" by Five Or Six from 1981. It's very different and doesn't use the lyrics but does retain the melody.
heard this again in this movie, nice intro to it, but i did thought about the bad ending from the beginning, cool movie, i think i heard this song several years ago froma rock/psyche/film fanatic friend
I knew the band but discovered this specific track because BBC used it for their trailers. It's been my favourite Death In Vegas track ever since, hands down. Shame they don't play live so much, and also shame that the last time I saw them, they didn't play this song.
What a track. Britain really does produce some talent. I'm also loving other various UK electronica based acts like Faithless, Unkle, Aphex Twin, Four Tet, Burial, Underworld, Orbital, Squarepusher, Stereo Mcs, The Prodigy, Massive Attack, The Bug, Allflaws
Si te erizas con este tema musical, lo tengo y me gusta. Lo escuche por primera vez al final de la Pelicula "La venganza nde la casa del lago" es un sonido funebre...

When i was 17 i wrote a book called "Canto Fúnebre" wich means "Dirge" and this is the song that i was listening while i was writting it.... (nobody read it)
Well this surprised me. Not really the kind of imagery I'd have with this song, but I'm more into future sci-fi looking stuff. This actually is more Goth and depressing. I'm sure Raven from Teen Titans would love it.
Everyone is different. I lot of people love the idea behind the music video. I think its very fitting. Its not really goth at all......its dark but its also beautiful. I'm sure to some seeing old people dancing in slow motion would be creepy but their is beauty to it and that's what they were looking for, nostalgia sprinkled with a little bit of melancholy.
Jackie Yoshi OKAY LISTEN HERE YOU LIL' SHIT. Raven from the Team Titans isn't depressing nor goth. You've probably just gotten used to the half-cocked idiotic crap that's now shown on television. Stay Classy, buy the comics.
finally a song with lyrics i can remember

Genius xD

Hadn't heard this track since the 90's - and watching the opening credits of 'I care a lot last night' took me straight back to 1995 - what a tune.
We all wish we could turn back clock to the 90s pal ..

Listening to Death In Vegas since the beginning, but glad to see newcomers thanks to TV shows and movies, this awesome band worths it !

Omg, I have finally found this song; this sometimes pops into my head, and I can never find it.
So beauty...so deep..
This tune for those with a higher level of listening and deciphering sound...is so much more than...laaa la laaa
*tips fedora*

Damn..Its so many levels you can hear in same rhythm
Most listeners focus on vocals and melody. This song forces you to focus on other parts of the music.
Hope she won an award for this masterpiece, I will never stop listening to this.

Haunting and lovely lonely melody
J'avais oublié à quel point j'aimais ce groupe. Vu à Paris à l'Elysée Montmartre. Super souvenir.

The way this was used in Being Human was fantastic.
Magnificent song, I think I saw it more than 35 years ago on an Ed Sullivan show.

I have no words.. pure perfection from all aspects
what does it matter what brought us here? the only thing that matters is we're all here enjoying the song.
