- Yujin Han is the BEST descendant in the first descendant game. We'll be going through his passive and skill based abilities and why his support role status places him as the most valuable team player in the first descendant roster. This guide and review will give you all the information you need about the character and why he may be a great fit for you.
Character Synopsis:
Yujin, raised by his mother who was a valuable medical doctor at Albion's only civilian hospital volunteered Yujin without his knowing to the medical corps. Not wanting to be a part of the military scene, he was reluctant and continuously scolded for his lack of willingness to health those "beyond saving". After his mother was injured during an attack, he failed to save her life and promised to heal all those who needed help henceforth.
Ridden with guilt and wanting to change his ways, Yujin has become a lead descendant and doctor at Albion, attending to those on the battlefield and fighting against the Vulgus/Colossi with full force. He is deeply caring about those around him and wants nothing but their safety at all times.
Hi all! Seems to be some confusion on certain abilities in the comments so I’m adding more info here:
1. ULTIMATE ABILITY
As of writing this the ultimate IS experiencing bugs which is resulting in the effects improperly being given (may even prevent you from unpopping the ability for 30 seconds). This is NOT purposeful and should be fixed by devs soon.
POPPING vs HOLDING ultimate: there are benefits to both. The reason WHY you hold is to A) apply continuous debuff prevention to Allies B) wait until there’s a lot of enemies/allies within circle range. WHEN you pop immediately and there are FEW bodies in circle you WILL NOT get a lot of health/shield back. I recommend equipping a skill range increase module to get more bodies within circle range. Hold until you get as many bodies within circle and THEN pop if regeneration is your main goal.
2. MED KIT vs DRONE
BOTH are good and have different purposes. I recommend the med kit for modes like colossi battles and Albion strategic intercept Horde Mode BECAUSE the arena is small and static so it’s easy to access the kit. For other modes like mission use the drone because the fight is not static.
3. ULTIMATE YUJIN
For those who finished the game, ALL the descendants are gearing up for ascending to ultimate (as per game lore). 4 transcendant modules have been released for YUJIN which make him WAY better. These enhance his arche allowing him to also heal HIMSELF (which his arche per lore has always prevented) and others not only quicker but far more effectively. I’m currently grinding these before I release my build video for him.
LASTLY I would like to say EVERYONE is entitled to their own playstyle and experiences! I understand some are with experienced groups where they hardly need a healer currently and some are also experienced but see a huge need for him as well. I can personally say in hard mode I’ve seen LOTS of people need a support healer and imo he becomes even more necessary but that’s just my experience in end game. However I will say with these new modules and his ascension coming I DO think you’ll want him even more. For you Enzo and Gley mains out there, love you guys as well! Happy to see other support roles here maining them too!

you forgot to mention than the drone , his first ability boost weapon damage for 34.5% damage and 23% ability damage at him and his ally when it disappear wich basicly is the best weapon damage buff ig. So you can also play him as a weapon master descendant
@@Xariann yes , there is also some yujin unique mod option to build him more damage oriented or heal yourself , a rare mod for descendant also up your weapon damage on ability damage stack on healing ally

To the people two weeks ago that said he wasn’t needed: how does the floor taste when I’m not there to heal you?
the floor taste like colossi, cause anything dies within seconds in this game, thats why Yujin is useless.
jeah if u like hiom u can play him but he´s probably obsolete in 95% of the game right now or ?
You dont want yujin to be meta or for him to be played at a consistent rate. One support is fine, two is overheal, three and four is just a circle jerk

One of my favorite character to play as. I think once people understand how much this characters buff their own, I wont spend my time running around the area buffing them.
I just significantly increased my radius and haven’t looked back since.
Looking forward to the build. Right now I'm considering letting him collect dust forever. Felt like the only good thing with him was fast revives.
he gets even better with his transcendent mods, healing anyone anywhere as long as they are in the group, mix that with fusion none attribute modifier and you'll heal them full plus more
I think the endgame will have utility focused groups for sure. Yujin(heals), Enzo(ammo), Ajax or Kyle(tank) whoever for 4th. The skills are strong levelign up, but suck at bossing, it's all about guns.
Gley is very strong with her infinite ammo ability as a DPS so she could fill that fourth slot the best
Maybe it was mentioned already, but does yujin's 4th ability also help with immunity to the colossi one shot phases like the freeze of frost walker?
First Aid is your best friend so far in the beggining! I saved myself and others so many time with that skill!

Forgot to mention the buffs to yujin when his ultimate ends getting increased firearm damage
Has he been changed? His 2 didn't heal him before nor his 1 and his 3 healed after the effect ended based on hits the player took. I would love that to have been changed and will check him out later
His drone ability will only affect him AFTER it ends on a teammate. His second ability Allergy is the best way to go if you need to heal yourself and his stimulant spray doesn’t do anything for him it’s strictly for your teammates.
I strongly recommend investing in range. Especially since you’ll be using his allergy ability a lot. Its base radius is 8 meters and I’ve bumped it up to 17. I’ve also cut his cool downs by half.
I can’t wait to research and unlock him!
I think the real problem with this character is the devs sabotaging it. There's no point in increasing your team's survivability if endgame bosses are going to have one shot mechanics.
There’s no such thing as a one shot undodgeable move you just have to get better at the maneuvering mechanics
@@joelbetancourt4725 I'm guessing you've not fought the frost walker... It literally has a mechanic where if you've not broken enough parts, everyone will get one shot no matter what.
@@juakoredThose mechanics are avoided through play and strategy. There’s still plenty of opportunity for quick raises and heals in various missions and group play 🤷♂️ And outside of healing support, he can boost directly boost attack %.
@@KrsJin nope. Frost walker is essentially a DPS check as far as I'm aware. Even if you survive it's first AOE insta-kill, chances are you won't break enough part to gather embers and survive a second AOE... So yeah...
I bought him. He is absolutely useless. Especially alone.
His cooldowns are way too long.
He doesn't have any pressure damage wise...
I just got him. I know when the game gets harder I know he’s going to be good.
I have to disagree with this character, i main healers or support classes in many games in this class needs to be redesigned.
Unless you like chasing after ppl specially bunny and losing dps then this class is for you and just the heals themselves are really weak you might as well pick up first aid packs, they need to just do aoe burst or heal over time heals also protective shields to make this character shine.

Yeah if he had the ability to heal shield 🛡️ ... And have an ability to revive .. then he'd be an actual healer ....
Coming from a healer main with over 7k hours of the division... 💯
So the new Ascendant Modules fix the issues you are talking about right here. I recommend not chasing after bunny since they'll come to you when they need health. Hope that helps!
Is Yujin bugged? None of his abilities do what was talked about in this video and I have him at level 40 full augments. His passive isn’t working, his allergy thing doesn’t heal more than half the time and certainly doesn’t heal if the enemy is a boss, mini boss, or captain type. His defensive drone doesn’t heal at all when I use it, and the ultimate barely heals but holding it does nothing. I really want him to work but just none of the abilities are working on him, I don’t know why.
I use yujin as my main he’s very fun and definitely useful as a support

Definitely not inferior! I can see arguments for both sides, just depends on what mode you’re playing.
For colossi and Endless horde modes (via Albion panel) I think the aid kit is great because the arena is small and stationary
I bought him right out of the gate so he would be higher level by the time I got to endgame content and so far I'm getting the hang of his abilities and more gear he's super helpful even a normal so far I can't imagine how helpful he will be in hard mode
Buy this char immediately coz i love being good supporter , but this character really great:)) i saved a lot of ppl from fail 👍🏻🎉

Even in hard mode, a healer isn’t needed. Maybe in the future but as of right now, I’d rather have another dps or a tank.

Personally I have encountered the exact opposite in hard mode, but everyone has their own experiences that are valid! A LOT of people i see get downed or need health assistance especially when you’re mobbing in hard mode.
However 3 new cards have arrived because of end game lore and getting him on track for an “ultimate” descendant version which are allowing his arche to enhance way further. They’re REALLY good and I recommend checking them out!
@@0day386 I go in for fun with my Yujin doing random Hard Mode bosses and AoE heal spamming them 24/7 but even then some ppl refuse to stay alive and suicide even not targeted by boss in any way xd
I used to troll with him, linked my hp heals on gleys and oh boy they got pissed at me. Best day ever 😂
Yujin and Ajax main, but I did not understand how his ult skill worked clearly. I was popping it and immedicately firing it, instead of holding. Good video!
he might be missed informed or its bugged but the ult does not do anything unless popped. its actually very weak ulti and charchter needs buffs i have almost 50 hours on him.
@frostyyogurt2465 yeah I love him, but he needs some serious buffs. He's good, but I feel like the worst part is not being able to sustain himself without skill module, which feels horrible sometimes
To @Frostyyogurt’s point the ultimate is currently facing a lot of bugs right now.
These stats are directly from the access panel on the descendant and abilities as written by the developers.
There ARE benefits to holding and benefits to popping. Holding allows for the debuff to be continuously applied while it’s active. Popping allows for the shield and health BUT if you pop while there’s FEW people in circle, then you’ll get little return on health and shield.
THIS is why I think people say it’s underpowered because they don’t wait to pop once there’s many enemies in the circle, thus they get little recovery (as the ability states). MY RECOMMENDATION is to add modules that increase the range of his abilities to allow more mobs in range

ok so did some testing no it does nothing until you pop it. with the active
When you pop you get the shield/health increase. While active you get the resistance to debuffs so both play styles provide benefits
@@GrasslandsStudio sadly as of right now you get nothing while it's active I asked some friends to see if thus gives them a buff while active and nothing. Only got the buffs when you pop it

He has an augment that does something but as I just got him even though I have the augment didnt have time to test
Yujin is my main, but the drone is annoying to use since Bunny is by far the most used Descendant. Bunny players being at low HP is commonplace, but so are Bunny players immediately running out of the range of his healing drone.
The drone could use a range increase before being desynched in order to make it less irritating to use with higher mobility teammates.
I don’t ever rely on drone unless I feel they need a more direct source. Stimulant spray is the way to go for bunny’s.
So your wrong about the abilities so far, I don't know if this was during the beta you made the video,that you were talking about, or not, but there is a lot of stuff wrong with what you said, stimulant spray does not give any healing until after they've received damage for the duration and then all the damage they received during that time while it's active gets healed after the fact, the restructured serum works for healing you only if you're close enough to the enemy and only works part of the time for some reason.
I don't know if it's the game that's glitching or what, but none of these are working except for the very first ability solidarity healing like you're saying. they do. I don't know if I'm missing something or maybe it's my mods or something a little help would be appreciated if I'm wrong in some way
what is the best weapon? I guess The Nazeistra is better then Divine? The -% DEF is so hard sacling?
idk if his 2nd skills is intended to not work directly on the Colousses cuz when i throw at them it dose not seem to be working except of cuz their minions/mech like devourer pylon, if only it can be work on the interception monster then yujin r going to be up there in the tier list imo.
Is there much point using him as a solo player?
Personally I do. His New cards that are end game are fixing some of his faults with the new “research” abilities that the lore gives with the new magistrate abilities.
The 3 abilities will allow him to heal himself (an ability his arche prevented for a long time) and increased damage/shields activation
Im main healer and support on my team and as meain healer its a perfect play style for me. I can support and stay mobile just need to forma him a few times and hes golden.

Coming out with one soon! 3 new end game cards have arrived that are going to massively boost him. Trying to unlock those before I present my build
unfortunately the game does not play this way. no one is ever close enough and people rarely go down. also you cannot stay in range of a bunny with the drone

Are the MP leeches considered a De-Buff?
This is the biggest load of hogwash I've heard.
All support toons are awful in this game, if Yujin repaired shields, he might actually hold some slight value, but regardless, not much.
A solid team consists of 1 tank (Ajax of course) and 3 dps no substitute. Bosses have a 10-minute time frame, the loss in DPS from playing Yujin or Jaybar is to much. (Jaybar the worst culprit as his turrets are stationary and he has to buff them over ever and over and over just for them to be 1 shot regardlessly by the boss)
Never play healers in this game period.
you're more than welcome to disagree and not like the character! I will say if you have people that know what they're doing, the support characters are pretty awesome in a lot of game modes!
Yujin has to heal more than deal damage and doesnt really have a way to heal himself. Jayber is a better support
He has two abilities that will heal himself but only 1 is more reliable

As a yujin player he sucks. I’ve been doing plenty of hard mode activities and the people that do hard mode activities for the most part have their builds together rarely go down and don’t need a yujin pocketing them,and the most useful part of his kit is his rez which is sad. if they don’t significantly increase his abilities numbers or rework him he’s going to continue to be the most useless descendant

is just crap . looks good on paper but on the battlefield where all are running like crazy especially bunny , the drone is useless . the other skills have a big cooldown and allies almost never stay in the area to receive healing as they probably dont know what even that zone is doing . except the fast revives , he brings nothing to the team , i have simply games where i just run around reviving people . i was hoping the later bosses will make him relevant but nope. throw it into the garbage bin and hope for a remake. if you dont have the entire team on discord and play a lot with randoms he is almost useless. is a transcendent skill that replace the drone btw with a medikit you can place on the ground , the morons are simply ignoring it they dont even know what it is :)))))

He’s right. Every fight has adds and life orbs have a high drop rate. Even gley players who use their health to activate their abilities and have a healing penalty have no problem filling up from a pack of adds.

You bugging. I built him up right and people barely go down. Hardest part is the team running away from you when you're trying to heal them
For real a lot of their abilities are stupid
He is! BUT its hard to farm his materials 🥲. Also, his best Ultimate Weapon is Divine Punishment, its clearly meant for him
