Sir, hi, thanks for the sharing. I've got a question, though. Is there any direct link between keyfob and this alarm siren? I have w209 clk. When i bought it, the alarm siren wasn't working. I did not care about it. However, 2 years later, all of a sudden, i cannot lock or unlock the with the keyfob. The keyfob only locks and unlocks the doors when it is pointed to the black thing on the door handle. All the fuses (especially the number 8 in the trunk) are okey, my antenna amplifier is also working.. What else i shouşd check on the car, got any suggestion? Thanks a lot..
i believe the keyfob has 2 transmitters infrared light which you point at the door handle has the receiver . and radio transmitter for central locking this may need more power to transmit .have you tried new battery's in key . do you have 2 keys with same fault
@@mikeducat8729 yeap, even change the battery of the keyfob. Moreover, i ve had someone to program a new style keyfob. Even that doesnt lock or unlock the car via rf. I am pretty sure that my antenna amplifier embedded in the rear glass working perfectly. To test it, opened the radio, memorized the quality of the song. After that, removed the number 8 fuse in the rear sam module and launched the radio again.. Sound quality was terrible, all the hissing sound etc.. Replaced the car battery (77 amps) 3 months ago.. Thus, there is no reason for a keyfob not to lock and unlovk the car from the distance but it doesnt work.. It is frustrating.. :((
@@grkmgl550 sounds like you may have a fault with rear sam computer not picking up on key fob or sam is not putting CAN bus signal for door computers to unlock
@@mikeducat8729 sir, it must be unlikely.. Since, i ve replaced it with brand new one 4 months ago. Yesterday, i ve also found out from the forums existing a module called "all activity module" (aam). I ve seen it, it was on the left side of the sam module. To my understanding, it also controls keyfob locking and unlocking using rf. Will have someone to check it.. Thank you for your help.. :)

@@grkmgl550 can,t find AAM in my manual for a C55 amg it sounds like it do,s the some job as my N93 central gateway module .good luck
