I live in Cabarrus County but a lot of these roads are familiar to me. Charlotte drivers don’t have a clue what that lever on the left side of a steering column does.
Even with my old truck, which had been paid off for many years, I still carried full coverage on it. Granted it might not have paid out much given depreciation, but nevertheless, something is better than nothing if something ever did happen.
I don't miss the days of having to deal with daily driving in any traffic within Mecklenburg County. Did it for several years while attending university and I don't miss it one bit.
I wish the state would initiate an education system for driving in roundabouts. I drive thru at least one a week and nearly every time I have to slam on my brakes because some fool doesn't understand that cars IN THE ROUNDABOUT have the right of way. They just drive thru like they own the road!
I live in Gastonia and when I tell people about how awful the drivers are here and how I’m almost hit by someone everyday, people tell me that it must be something I’m doing. And here you are, documenting that I’m right about how awful people here drive.
No one in Charlotte seems to be able to make a left hand turn and god forbid they have to navigate a rotary. They would have an easier time solving quantum physics equations. They are worst drivers I have ever encountered.
This is light work compared to what I usually see in CLT doing Uber. Most of these are valid, but some of these are an overreaction. No turn on Red has to be the most useless thing ever that’s put in place to regulate stupid people who can’t judge distance. I understand perspective why they put those on lights but again they’re just to stop dumb people from being dumb and they ignore the sign anyway
The police are not enforcing the traffic laws, and this is what you get. Along with the outrageous insurance that comes with the bad driving causing crashes.
That stretch of road is confusing. The lanes begin and end or change frequently and even after living here for years, I still can’t remember what store is in which area.
That's a double left turn lane and if you pause the video at the 1:50 mark before the info card shows up, you can see the dashed white line and that I am on the right side of it which goes into the outer lane and so I did go into the correct lane. Were you referring to something else?
@@RailRoadChaserNCOne of the downsides of viewing videos on a phone is that finding the one frame that proves you correct can’t be seen before the info card appears (the clip looks to start with the info card already up) while watching the video and can’t be paused with single-frame accuracy. Not being able to identify that intersection to support my response based on the overwhelming preponderance of single left turn lanes and the maddening daily occurrence here of people not sticking to their lane in a turn, I made the natural assumption based on those odds. Therefore, I will accept your claim of a double left turn lane and withdraw my objection. Your witness, Counselor.
I was a band geek growing up, so I listen to almost all styles of music, some styles more than the others though. It just depends on the time day and mood.
One thing about charlotte drivers there not gonna use there indicator.

It’s a must now to carry full coverage after your car is paid off. So many unlicensed and uninsured drivers out there.

You should see how bad some drivers are here in Indian Trail.

1:01 That's a NJ move.
Yeah, Charlotte drivers are some of the dumbest.
Remember that in Charlotte, 1 out 9 drivers don't have insurance or license. But they drive like maniacs because they got nothing to lose.

Wait till you see what I’ve caught on my dashcam in CLT😆😆😆
This is all? This is basically every 6 minute 25 second drive in Southern California
*lol* I'm from OC and now live in Charlotte, there are a lot of us here, and it's always hilarious to hear people whine about traffic and drivers.

Are red lights just a suggestion in Charlotte?
People are treating them more optional as the days go by unfortunately.
Good ole Gastonia drivers.
LOL

1:50 It would have helped if you’d driven into the correct lane.

But that variety of music.😁 I have a channel called rdudrivers. All that same garbage. I drive all over the country. Nc is the worst so far.
