When my dad found out I was gay I was kicked out of the house. I went on to college, worked full time at a grocery store and lived with two roommates to get through. My dad never forgave me for my sexual orientation but I forgave him for acting in a way that he only knew how. Not everyone has the mental or emotional health to respond in the best of ways all the time.
The video and song confounded the “moral majority” folks because she was she was shining a spotlight on the very real issue of teenage, unplanned pregnancies while simultaneously advocating for reproductive choixe.
My daughter got pregnant at 15 and believe me I went through roller coaster of emotions but at the end of the day you have to step up and support your kids. Now I have a 3 year old granddaughter who I couldn’t even imagine not being in my life.

As I am older now, and see that every kind of life can make a great one at the end, with a lot of anything can go wrong or good between the start till the end, .... so I find it sad that we (at first, often) think that a coming baby is ''messing up'' / bad news for your life.... Except if it's the result of violence, ...The older version me think a coming baby should be great news ! I think We should rethink the act of sexe, and his meaning as a human, ..and that a baby is the result, naturally...so make love, please ! Sexe only does not the trick at the end!
