  • In the summer of 2021 myself and photographer Ben Quinton headed to the London Dockland's to see if we could catch anything on the fly.
These waterways are seldom visited by fly anglers, although they are extremely popular with lure anglers who regularly catch specimen perch, Zander, sea bass and the occasional sea trout.
This video was randomly put together as a side venture to the fishing and is intended to inspire fly anglers who've never thought to, to actually give venues like these a try.

Nice video, I was staying near Canary Wharf in the Summer and packed a spinning rod just on the off chance, had a few hours in the evening, loads of follows from small perch but that was it, would probably have been better off with the fly gear 👍

Subscribed man 👌🎣 Another good video👌 does people looks at you like you are kind weird person becouse you fish with fly rod and not for trouts ? 😅 becouse hiere in midlands they look at me like I'm from another planet 🤣 some of them don't even know what is fly fishing 🤔 if they know what the fly fishing is than they don't understand why I'm fishing in the canals becouse there is no trouts or salmons, if I tell them I fish for pikes or perch or roach than they look to me like weirdo🤣
