Loved this room, I wish the lighting was brighter but I understand why he kept the tanks dim so the plecos are more active.
The pond filter is a great idea, one I may have to take up as I have a pardalis and a green panaque.
I also loved his scapes, each tank had a lot of effort and thought put into the design and the fish’s needs.

Amazing stuff Mike. Absolutely love this channel iv learnt alot. I dont keep monster fish but once i did have a 600l with oscars. But now i have a small 90l with tetras etc planted tank. Well well impressed.

That is one awesome fish room and I am a pleco person and loved every bit of this video. I breed plecos here in Melbourne Australia but not that many like him.

@@oscardean6351 thank you, I could put some some more mid swimmer fish, but won't be fair as the flow is too strong and no qhere really to hide, plecs wise rather keeping species only

What a room would love something like this one day, I love plecos currently have a green phantom/golden nugget/galaxia and a big bristle nose by far my favourite fish I’ve had.

@@MartinRodriguez-co9xx May I continue with another question? What type of wood goes into the tanks? Love the look, is there a reason for keeping waterline lower or just easier maintenance?
@@oscarlindvall1053 I do have oak, silver berch and beech which I collect from a woodland behind my house, and then your normal bogwood from aquarium shop, regarding water level is mainly because plecos don't really need the depth, and sometimes helps if I'm trying to spawn a pleco keeping the water level down and then doing a big water change topping the tank, as it helps recreating "dry season"

I'd love to add a golden nugget Plec to my discus tank but don't know if it would handle the temp
If it helps, I have a Gold Nugget, a King Tiger plec and a green phantom plec in my Discus tank and all are thriving and growing well. Water temp is 29 deg C.
Nuggets need high temp like discus, ideal tank mates

Would be interesting to read your testing and information regarding to not being able to digest the mussle foot. If you haven't done any then that comment is just another "fish tale" that could become a false truth. There are unfortunately way to many of these already. Don't add false info into the already hard to navigate hobby.
