If Schar had played for any other team in the premier league, that goal would of stood. The premier league has always been against the Toon for years now, and don't want them to win. When the takeover was happening, at the toon, look what happened to try and stop the takeover. Every match the toon plays now, they are playing against two teams at the same time, f**king disgrace.

Clear foul any day of the week. Burn is not even trying to make it look like a robust challenge, just as clumsy and unnecessary as what Dummet did to DCL against Everton.

Anderson has presence in midfield, as opposed to Longstaff who ghosts around like an empty carrier bag.
Longstaff had a poor 1st half. He did become lively in the last 20mins.
Longstaff's pass to set up Isak mind was superb. But generally I agree with you.
Longstaff is an excellent player, but he’s having injections before every game..he’s carrying an injury ffs & is wrecked.

Burn fucked up and pushed Bassey down with his right arm, Bassey was never gonna win the Ball, 100% correct decision for me. This is where VAR actually works.
I am glad we won the right way, and not cheating us out of it.

The first half is like seeing the old Newcastle.We were simply outplayed and outpass by a mid table teams.It clearly shown some of our players are championship standard.Hope we can remove some deadwood and control the game better next season.Overall,its a great effort by the team.

It would be a miracle if we finished 6th with all our injuries this season but it’s still realistic. We cannot afford to lose any more games. It’s really important we finish 6th because if we don’t we won’t attract the top players.

@@georgemorley1029Why are so many bashing the disallowed goal? As a Newcastle fan myself I could clearly see Burn making a foul on Bassey, that should never be allowed to stand. It was unnecessary by burn because Bassey was never gonna win the Ball, but he fucked up, and penalized for it. VAR well done, this is where it works, let's be honest, we would have hated it Fulham would have gotten such a goal allowed, people need to see from two perspectives.

The rest of the players need to start getting their act together though and Eddie, 2 keepers as subs again, just put the youngsters on man.
