An update to the video. Correct me if I get it wrong. None of these things happened. The only change it got was a Vistadome coach. Why? The Madgaon Janshatabdi was upgraded to LHB coaches. Earlier there were two rakes for it shared with the Aurangabad Janshatabdi but just a single Vistadome coach. This is not a problem except in the monsoons where due to reduced speed in the Konkan railway, the the same coach cannot reach from Mumbai to Madgaon before the other one leaves from Madgaon. So you had Vistadome on alternate days since there was only one coach. Now the Madgaon Janshatabdi has two LHB takes with two Vistadome coaches shared with the Deccan express. The Madgaon Janshatabdi now leaves from CSMT instead of Dadar and this has been done because of the RSA agreement with Deccan. The old Janshatabdi vistadome was transferred to the Queen and since it just needs one dedicated coach, it runs on vistadome everyday. However, it's mighty stupid to have Vistadome on any trains running on the bhor ghats. Even if you ignore the insanely expensive price, all you get to see is an engine. Having a Vistadome for a Push-Pull or a banker hauled train is useless and even if that's not the case, you only get the vistadome experience on one side of the journey since these coaches cannot be turned around. There is just too much of fan following for his train and without any reason. The Queen doesn't have a timetable which is suitable for most people (especially ones in Mumbai). It has no intermediate stops and inspite of being one of the fastest, it's just too slow for today's day and age. The dining car is only available on non monsoon months as well.
